I... I dunno how to put it, man. This is simply some of the most extrordinary Lego Pirate work i've ever seen. I'd say KUTGW but that wouldnt be good enough! I'm having trouble finding any flaws in much of anything. These are several very well researched and very well built peices. Well done!

Good point about the hat... ... the only thing is is that I dont have very much Pirate gear - Most of my minifig gear is Castle/Adventurers related. So, if I wanted to arm them all with cutlasses and/or muskets/pistols, I wouldnt be able to :P Furthermore, those are the only two sock caps I own. Though, it sort of fits in an obtuse way... He isnt really a true pirate, after all. -
@Norrington: Hehe :P While the peices themselves would be pre-painted, I dont think I could supply the rest of the minifigure :/ Basically, im thinking just a straight black minifigure would probably do best. Also, you can see a little bit of other stuff i've painted to the left and right. Looking at some more pictures of Jones, I think I will scrape what I have on the side of his face off and re-sculpt it so that it looks like actual cheekbones - Ill probably add a brow, too :) http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/e/ea/Davyjones.jpg Sadly, as you can see there, I really screwed up the mustache tentacles and the lower jaw. Furthermore, I think the tentacles might look better if they were thinner and spaced out further. So I may end up simply tearing all this off in the end anyway :P This is my second SERIOUS attempt at green stuff sculpting and one of my intentions in doing it is as practice for when I start working on my Golden Demon entries this year. (The Golden Demon is a very prestegious and premier miniatures painting competition)

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End

Heres to it being better then Dead Mans Chest! -
Well, in all honesty, here be the reason why I made this here inquiring poll... I am currently in the process of sculpting Davy Jones and most likely his crew. When I am finished I intend on molding them and putting them up for sale. Davy Jones will be in three peices - Head and beard, claw arm, claw leg. In this picture, I have yet to sculpt his hat, mutton chop tentacles, or back-of-neck octosack. I am debating making decals for his eyes or sculpting them. I think I may sculpt them.

Whoah! Greg-San! Let me be the first to welcome you to Eurobricks :) If you read about, you will, without doubt, understand my dislike toward the direction you have taken BIONICLE in, but do please try to understand that my feelings are limited to your work on BIONICLE and not to you as a person. Furthermore, I have, for the most part, moved on, and am working on my own version of the BIONICLE universe that I will publish to EB sometime this spring - a version that can suit my own tastes and content my own playing styule that does not need to tailor to any "Target Audience" ;) Lastly, please ignore that post made up top by the flaming troll, because that is all it is - a flame post made by a flaming troll :P Oooh... Maby he's a fire troll!? - Helden PS: Part of the reason I didnt like FTB was because it, like so many things 2006, WASNT canon. If theres 6+ different plot lines running in so vary many different ways, not only does it seem like NOTHING is canon, how is the fan supposed to know which is the one real storyline?

One must also concider that the bricks he cut/burnt are pretty standard, low-value bricks. So, if you took a candle anywhere near any of my pirate stuff, i'd kill you, but if you felt like burning up some of those old style doors (Of which I have far too many... the one peice I have prolific amounts of and no real use for ) I'd hand them to you and tell you to have a ball.

Unrevealed :) As with several other characters on board, I plan on delving into their past at some later date. -
w00t! So we get a very poor, discolored rehash of the T3 Trike. Lovely. I personally liked the first Life on Mars line. Decent sets, good storyline. But this... this shoot-em-up abomination is just garbage. - Helden

@Cerberus: No, the bow isnt finished yet - Good guess! @Phes: Yes, those are real skulls. They are deer skulls. We have had them since we moved here, neigh-on 15 years ago, when I was a wee lad of 6 months. The one you can barely see is about half of a cow skull. We put them out front every halloween.

Excellent, mate - and out of the ordinary. That is an outstanding battle scene :) -
Definetly one of the best brick built beasts i've seen. Well done!

Impressivly huge... ... but I hear it stays in dock for tourists all the time, because one hefty wave would bowl it over :P

Very refreshing change of color, indeed. The only thing I must say is that it'd look much more proper if one of the masts was taller then the other. Still, its a very nice ship - I may have to mimic that stern design someday, its a good'un.

He's not even a spaniard - He's an english doctor :P Its just that I would imagine that mastering a Katana would be a rather rare thing for an englishman to accomplish during the 1700's. Oh, and to answer your question, I used this extremely nifty name generator for all the names except Pirazzo, Skut, the first name of Tok, and Erik Northwind: http://www.rinkworks.com/namegen/ Name History Pirazzo Miragliano, as well as the name Alcatani, are all references to Dogs of War (Mercenary) units/characters out of the Warhammer Fantasy universe. Pirazzos Lost legion Marksmen of Miragliano The Fellowship of Alcatani Skut is a homage to the one-eyed airplane pilot out of the Adventures of Tintin books, The Red Sea Sharks (can be seen in middle) and Flight 714. He is often referred to as "Old Pirate" by Captain Haddock. Tok is in dedication of a friend. His BZP name is ToK. Erik Northwind is the messanger name of a long time friend of mine and fellow BZP member Elzaban (some of you might be familiar with the name). The rest of the names were variations on what I found in that name generator. The stories for some of the characters I had been puzzling around with beforehand but were put in stone when I wrote this, but most of them I made up as I wrote, trying to make a diverse crew that would compliment each other.
