  1. For the return-to-center steering, I usually apply the technic spring box(with 3x1x2 size) especially when I am building small to medium sized vehicles. For heavier cars, multiple springs or some other mechanism would be chosen. A good example of return-to-center mechanim with normal technic spring(shock absorber) would be seen in mahjqa's "Basic Chassis" And I guess mahjqa used two springs(size 3x1x2) in his .In the video, white box seen during 0:50~1:06 seems to be double springs
  2. I asked Dong Hyeon about the rear axle and he said you pointed out very accurately. He said he needed axle of length 11 but there's no such axle. He used axle 10 instead, and used 1/2 bush on only one side as you pointed out.
  3. I want to introduce a MOD of my friend. His name is Kim Dong Hyeon(Kim: Family name, Dong Hyeon: Given name) and his ID in BrickInside is logogo (BrickInside is the largest LUG in South Korea, I think) Dong Hyeon wrote he focused in the followings : --------------------------------------------------------------- 1. two M motors(steering and drive), 1 receiver, and hide 1 battery as much as possible(technically....) 2. preserve the functions of 10220 as much as possible(result is about more than 90%) 3. realize stable driving and return-to-center steering --------------------------------------------------------------- He adopted my steering idea introduced in my "City Hunter" ( I want to call it 'sunsky steering' . May I ? ) You can see more photos at his brief review on BrickInside .
  4. Hi, I am glad to see my work on this site and thank you for posting it I did not model a real car. I just imagined and built it. If I pick some real cars that influenced my imagination, they will be Audi TT, Porsche 911, and a few more that I don't know name. But, the Daihatsu Copen looks very much like mine(Should I say in reverse? Mine resembles Daihatsu Copen?) Anyway, I did not know Daihatsu Copen before I saw this post. The steering system was my major focus and starting point of this MOC. Prototype of it was built in summer(or autumn) of 2010. At that time, it was big and clumsy. Suddenly in Jan 2011, the idea of 5 double bevel stroke my head and I built this MOC in 2 months. Structure and detail was finalized near the end of Feb 2011 but I waited a few weeks more for color parts to arrive. The seat function and outline curves were satisfactory too. I tried to unify the color where it's possible.(For example, I used all the axles in black) It's sad that some special part does not come in black color.(As seen in the bottom photo) Color tuning in Red was not planned from the beginning and was done near the end of Feb so tuning is not perfect. (there are some pieces that could have been replaced by Red) I hope you would enjoy my City Hunter Jaeho Jung sunsky @ www.BrickInside.com sunmint1 @ YouTube sunskyTechnic @ Flickr sunsky @ brickshelf sunsky @ eurobricks
  5. Hi, I did not notice my motorized 8041 was introduced here. Thank you mahjqa As mahjqa said, tire replacement was done only because I thought the original tire did not look like a truck tire.
  6. Hi, Ji Hoon Shin Nice to meet you here. There were two South Koreans including me, and now I guess three in Eurobricks. Could you tell be brickinside ID or Bricksworld ID ?
  7. Hi, I was born and live in Republic of Korea(also known as South Korea). My name is Jaeho Jung, and I use 'sunsky' as my ID here and there. My interest and activity with LEGO is focused in Technic category and Power Function . My recent LEGO creation was "Snow White Car" and was introduced in TechnicBRICKs blog. It was an honor for me to be posted on such a wonderful site I do most of my LEGO activity on BrickInside, a LUG in South Korea . I have Flickr account as "sunskyTechnic" but there's not much contents because I opened that account recently. Thanks for reading ( I don't know the common phrase to end this post because I am not a native english user )
