My own business got caught up with a complaining customer, I was told by the powers to be (Department Of Fair Trade) that mark ups had to be a reasonable percentage. That's all I can say about, just in case one day I get taken to the cleaners on it. Back On Topic, TRU have selected sets on sale as of 18th.....Wampa Cave 59.99, city forest police 99.99, city alarm game 24.99 and battle of hoth game 39.99. There is also some Ninjago and Hero Factory on sale too.

I too was shocked when the girl stacking the Lego shelves at TRU went to check the price, she claim they have had them for a week....funny no shelf talker strip or price indicator for it. Are what TRU doing legal ? Only they can stock an item, call it whatever price it is, make a high profit from it not being a general release set. Exclusives at Target or Kmart generally follow the Lego S@H price (bad as it can be at times itself), why should TRU increase it's price when no one can compete against them on the same product. I wonder what the Trade Practises Act would have anything for or against TRU's actions.

Today I tossed together the tyre fitting bay for CITY Tyres, no lift here but a tyre changing machine.....bad news is my batteries died in the camera AGAIN ! Anyway, here is what I do have to show for today. I'll try and get shots of the tyre changing machine on it's own tomorrow. Some trial and error designing lays ahead to make a trolley jack to suit both minifig and 6 wide vehicle scale. Comments, suggestions, etc., always welcome. Edit - tomorrow I should get a start on the next structure to join onto the other two, but what ? Do I build a showroom (remember it's Lego City style build...size does matter) or simply a sale office for truck sales yard next to it ?

Thanks for this 'Aanchir', the Desert Skiff and Jabba's Palace are the sets that I'm interested into....maybe the CW ones too(but with Marvel and LOTR plus City....something's got to give). The new Boba is one of the best figures for 2012....actually canon thanks to that weapon, remember his aims his blaster to Leia (in bounty hunter gear) in two hands, one of grasping the barrel of the gun. (Hope my memory is correct) Now I though the Republic had NO army hence the Jedi was used to sort out little problems, sadly I'm not in Old Republic stories (I prefer OT and of course post-OT). Besides what is the Republic Trooper in the Old Republic Starfighter holding ?

I join the chorus of support for the new horse, but something is strange in what the Lego rep wrote....boys 5-10 years old, more girls are into horses than boys. Plus is this new horse design going to be used for Friend's as well as the more classic minifig themes ?

Oh, my simple answer is YES! Since I have tons of parts everywhere I'm able to buy sets as the wife can't tell what is new or old, but I have slowed down set buying to just City and Super Heroes (my son gets the Star Wars though).

I did take a punt really that availability was based on being the host nation, but when are they coming out....wouldn't mind get them imported into Oz (so then I can make some custom Aussie's to compete with them ).

Oh, now these will end up with a high price tag MISB on Bricklink after the games ? Why UK exclusive ? Will it be only available at selected outlets ? Ah, so many questions ?
