On the keychains, we still haven't seen ones from this Castle line, have we? I'd like a Necromancer or goblin keychain. Shakar

Actually, Yoda, Crownies always had black hips. I have one in front of me. :-) That being said, the "sentry" is a really good set! It's really great how you're able to make "alternative knights": you can choose between nose protector helmet and grill helmet, armourless or armoured, shortsword and spear....I'll have some spare pieces by buying these, which is great. The wizard I'm not so sure about. To me the sand blue seems so weird. Dark blue, IMO, would have been much better. I don't mind the stars too much, however I would've liked more elaborate designs, like the ones that the Necromancer proudly sports. I wouldn't have minded a cape either, but I suppose that I'm asking too much for a 3 Euro set. Yet again, they could have put the same effort they put on that great Crown Knight set in this one. Now, we get to the truly juicy part. The battlecart is a GREAT set. Not only does it inlcude two Crownies, one goblin and a freaking awesome troll (I don't care how much M###B###KY he looks, he's wonderful!), it also includes one of those excellent goblin flags and a siege machine that looks so good. These sets look like vikings gone bad. How much will this be? 20 Euro peraphs. One more thing: the chicken leg is agreat detail! X-D Shakar

Because they're cheaper? :-D ;-) :-/ :-( :'-(

I said "that we know about", not that we have seen. While we still haven't got a pic of it, we do know about the existance of a set called "Troll's battlecar". Sorry if I wasn't clear. :-) Oh, and I agree with you on the "battlecar". A 20-30 Euro set with two trolls in it would indeed be amazing. Hinckley would be happy, so would I! *sweet* Regarding the "special surprise", I strongly doubt that it's 7036. He mentioned in a part of the article that we already got our hands in "a special sneak peek" at the 2008 line up: he was clearly referring to 7036 Dwarf Mining. Why would he call this special mystery set a "surprise" if we already knew about it? What I'm hoping for is a UCS Castle, huge, with lots of detail and with excellent building techniques used. As Gylman calls it, Castle Corner. Shakar

On the skellies leader, the balck knight from the Joust set is considered by the Lego site the army general. Speaking of Skellies, what happened to the Necromancer? So far we haven't seen him on the 2008 sets pics. Still, remember this?

"Pohatu" is looking quite nice. That mask would make a wonderful Vahi 2.0! Just look at its shape. On the weapons, the "Mydak skyblaster", if that's its name, looks like an interesting weapon, more for its shape than for its functionality. Are those things pincers? If so, good! Definately reminiscient of the Kodan claws, but bigger and meaner. On the colour scheme, the orange pieces do really make me happy. However, I think that replacing the dark bley pieces with gunmetal ones would make him look alot better. Gunmetal+orange=WIN. What I don't like is the use of the Kongu Mahri design. It looks something that would better suit Onua...I don't know about you, but I always saw Pohatu as being quite slim. Shakar

Forgive me but...are these the "special exclusive sets" you're supposed to receive by signing to BM? I hope that the 2008 BM sets are better, even tough I won't be able to get them. Shakar

How do I make M$%#B#*^ks seem appealing?
Shakar replied to iamded's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Give them to Chuck Norris. He'll turn them into high quality Lego sets by using his tears. That being said, the Dragons line has some really cool minifigs, such as the various shiny knights and the Vorgan warriors. I wish Lego made some special armours and helmets, to give to one or two factions a certain fantasy warriors feel. Shakar -
An eBay find that just made me laugh too hard
Shakar replied to Shadows's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
I like those figs. :'-( Maybe he'll sell for 95$ a minifig with a Darth Maul torso, a Ryo head and a purple EF hairpiece that, of course, nobody will buy? -
Are we sure those names are real? There's no confirmation...yet... Shakar

I'm very curious on how the story team will justify all these changes the Nuva received. Maybe, like someone thought, Artakha updated their armour? The thing that makes me wonder the most is the mask design. Greg confirmed that the Nuva are going to have their old masks, but the Miru and the Kakama look drastically different from their Olda/"old Nuva" counterparts. Still liking Lewa. Shakar

The thing that catches me the most is the whip. Like others pointed out, in that "promo" pic it was straight. However the box pics show it curled. If it was able to bend it would be sweet! It could really make some nice tentacles, not to mention that making a minifig use it to grab other minifigs would be really fun..... Shakar

I did indeed see a blue creature with a sliver Gali Olda foot.Speaking of Gali...I wonder what TLC did to her....my main complaint with Hahli Mahri is that she's so bulky compared to her Inika form. I'd like Gali to be similar to the Inika in "slimness", if you understand what I mean. Shakar

I like Lewa. Sure, he's nothing like the thing he's supposed to be, but he looks nice. I'm sure that with a few mods he'll look great. Pohatu...this guy is a bit weird and is nothing what I was excpeting. He looks very muscolar...I'll wait for better pics. Chirox...and I thought Mantax was creepy. This guy is very vampire looking. He has wings, and I like that. His limbs are too slim, but they do play well with his monstrous look. Toa Ignika...definately not what I was excepting. First off I don't like how the Ignika is silver...plus it's the one from 2007..I would've preferred the VNOG one. Second...black and yellow? 8-| This guy looks nothing but an Hewkii on steroids. Finally, is he/she/it riding something? His right foot looks chained to something black. As of now, my favourite is Lewa. Shakar

Of course he should be destroyed by the great Skellie Empire. Shakar

And don't forget the two impulse sets. *sweet* Can't wait to see them... Shakar

Ok...I honestly don't know what to think....because these two pics are so damn blurry. Oh, why do Bionicle pics always need to be less clearer than the other themes' images? *wacko* Shakar

Wow, you do really want to make me die of happiness. *wub* -7036: looks smaller than I thought
-
I'm here, my Dark Master. *vader* *wub* Ok, I'll turn this emoticon into well written thoughts

Juno is *wub* . I just can't understand why she has brown hair. Isn't she blond? Shakar

I love the use of the hands and of the binocluar pieces. Very well done! *y* Shakar

The person above me doesn't seem to like Muppets. Shakar

One thing: remember this poster? I'm sure you do. Anyway, the Anakin minifig has a new hairpiece and has big cartoony eyes. Maybe all the minifigs are going to be like that? Oh, Asajj minifig please. Shakar

I would be happy if I lived in a country that had Tru shops. The problem is, here in Italy you don't find such nice promotions, except an occasional Bionicle one (which is nothing more than "buy 2 can sets get a small one for free" :-/ )... I HATE Italian shops! Shakar

Forestmen? That's a nice idea. And of course, elves and dark elves. Elves! Green and gold clothes, beautiful looking faces, special pointy ears that can be attached to the sides of the heads, unique heraldly, special weapons and armours. Dark elves should have red or blue eyes, dark bley skin, different weapons and armour, different heraldly and black clothes. Peraphs 2009 could be Elves vs Dark elves. I'd really like to see this. But I suppose I should look foward to 2008 now...I really want to see that Troll ship! Fantasy Castle on! Shakar
