  1. If I remember correctly, I discovered it when I saw at BZP the revelation of the Sandcrawler. BZP gave to Eurobricks the credit for the news, with a link to the homepage. I started watching a bit the forums, then I started lurking everyday, I enjoyed the reviews and the atmosphere and I began to really like it. Then I finally joined. *sweet* Shakar
  2. It still is Mysterio from the Spiderman "joke" a while ago. I'd change it into the traditional Shakar I use, if I didn't have problems in logging in. But, whatever the case, I prefer Eurobricks. :-D Shakar
  3. The house is 70 Euro? That's not good! I was interested in it, but with such an high price.... Shakar
  4. Hello! I'm not a fan of HP, however last year I got from S@H the Graveyard, I tought it was a really good set with very useful minifigs and pieces. Yet again this year some things catch my eyes. Those winged black skeleton horses are really awesome, then there's this purple piece, which will be immensely useful for energy bolts and such. Finally there is this guy with the hood. Could someone tell me who is he/she/it? A Dementor (Dementors rock) ? He looks very cool. Shakar
  5. Guess it's just an error. And, of course, 90% of BZPers now say Spinaz. ;-) Shakar
  6. Hahli is my favourite Toa here, no doubt. Simply awesome. One of the best colour schemes I ever seen! Very nice idea. I think I will use these to modify my Inika, to make more interesting versions of them. Matoro's gonna receive a scytche! Hewkii will become quite interesting! Nuparu will have a big shield! Hahli will become the best Toa of Water you'll ever see! Looks like these Mahri aren't THAT bad after all...Shakar
  7. I sure hope those are the real prices, because they're perfect! And very good pics. Thank you legomilk. This is shaping up to be the best line of the year... Shakar
  8. Regarding the playsets: BTW, seems like BZP allows only its pics...Shakar
  9. That zombie like minifig in Harry Potter looks way cool. Anyone knows who is she/he/it? And those winged black horses, too, are awesome. No Castle. Dang it. On Bionicle, the judgment is the same. If only all the Mahri looked as good as Hahli.... Shakar
  10. Comments about DECENT pics, at last. TOA MAHRI Hahli: veeery nice colours. Sadly, that isn't a good colour combo for a Toa of Water! I can see her as an alternative Toa Inika Hahli, with the lime replaced by trans blue. Cool mask and wings. Hewkii (to quote KMOI "Neo Reidak"): TERRIBLE as a Toa, cool as a set. Except the mask, which sucks, he looks like a nice figure. Jaller (Jala? ;-) ): not bad. pretty good mask, neat sword, decent colours (although Inika Jaller's ones own over these). Crab is the best part of the whole set, no doubt. He's just.... *wub* Kongu: terrible. The colours are simply unacceptable. Really, the only good things here are the dark green pieces and the dark bley Metru lower legs. Every thing else... :-X Matoro: hits and misses here. Lovely mask from what I can see. Trans pieces are always a welcome. The claws are excellent pieces for a scythe. Lastly, the shoulder pieces look good. However, good parts used in an overall bad design: the hunchness should belong to Onua, not to a Toa of Ice! Stupid Metru arms as lower arms AGAIN, as seen on Mantax, are no-no, the use of the Toa Olda/Nuva feet looks wrong, same for the Inika shoulder pads. However, I could apply the same thinking I did to "Hewkii", and say that he could be a really nice villain... Nuparu: really cool shield, nice mask, and I'm glad that they made black Zaktan/Thok/Avak feet. Everything else is no interest for me, not even the design. Not even good for a villain this time. And stop using the Piraka lower arms in inappropriate ways (i.e: Takadox's lower arms Nuparu's lower legs), Lego. Blaster thing: no comments here. Maybe it could be nice on the playsets, but on the figures, no! TITANS I'm softer here, as always. Gadunka: a big blue frog, with giant theet and well done claws! Good job Lego! Hydraxon: kinda realistic hands, cool mask, nice weapons, and a classic colour scheme that always works. Throw away the blaster and he's a great set. Maxilo & Spinax: not many pics of them, From what I can see I'm not too excited about them. The grey here is...eww. Spinax is nice. I'll judge this duo better when new pics will pop up. PLAYSETS Toa Undersea Attack: not a bad submarine. Doesn't interest me anyway. Deep Sea Patrol: pretty good, I guess. Toa Terrain Crawler: this thing really looks amazing. Definitely looks huge. The two weird creatures have old Barraki pieces in new colours. The jellyfish is simple, but really creative IMO. The minifigs are..well, not creative, really. Piraka and Inika recolours. Hewkii and Zaktan are intact. Maybe they'll change? Let me say that there are some changes from the "leaked" pics. I take as example Toa Terrain Crawler. Its eyes are red, at Toy fair they're blue. The black guy with gold armour has an head that looks like kinda Mantax's. Some minifigs scattered through the other sets are different. There are minor differences. Final note: THROW AWAY THE RED 2 AXLES LEGO. THROW AWAY THEM OR I'LL DESTROY YOU. Shakar
  11. I can't care less for those trolls, I don't like trolls in general anyway. However, we get to finally see the black skellies' faces. They're *wub* ! And what about those bad guys' swords? Excellent! Shakar
  12. My Kardas JUST arrived! *Happy dance* Shakar EDIT: Finished building him a while ago. Beutiful he is! Biggest Bionicle set EVER!
  13. From what I can understand, you...aren't too happy with it. Anyway. I like Nocturn, he's a nice looking set with excellent MOCing parts. Shakar
  14. Yeah, it doesn't appeal me either. HOWEVER, looks like I'll have to buy it: princess, sorceror, knight in full armour with horse, and two skeletons (which I'm not going to be able to get enough of).Shakar
  15. Ah, thank you! Shakar
  16. Please, could someone clarify me on this? Those are combiners, right? The look very nice. Shakar
  17. From the same author, there's also this one. Wonderful works. Shakar
  18. An EF girl pilot, eh? Looks quite good. Maybe my Sofie can use that face...she currently has a classic female face (I need a face with blue eyes for her) . Oh, my schoolbag is purple. Maybe their child WILL BE a mecha?Shakar
  19. Nocturn is available at S@H Europe and UK right now. Awesome, eh? No, because HE COSTS 20 EURO! And 15$, dang it! Shakar
  20. Looks awesome. Great colours, great parts, great looking set...definately going to get at LEAST two of these: one for the set, one for the awesome parts. Shakar
  21. I bought another X-Large bley base Saturday. Always useful. *sweet* Shakar
  22. Oh, now I like the-one-who-pretends-to-be-Hewkii: he'll be a great bad guy in my collection! He looks quite cool! Like somebody described him...mutated Reidak. I'm not being sarcastic. I don't have to use the Mahri in my games when I have the six Inika. However, I'll end up buying them anyway, like always. Shakar
  23. And I'm more of a huge realistic dragon type of guy... (I guess you know that that pic does him no justice). Of course, I still love the Castle sets. :'-) (By the way, that classic castle pic you posted is wonderful. Makes me so nostalgic). Shakar
  24. 4+ Pirates: They included the chrome scimitar. So...not. Knights Kingdom: Absuletely not! I won't have the VDF if KK din't exist...and all the minifigs.... D.I.N.O. Attack: Dino 2010 for us Europeans...there were peope who liked it, and I love the digger minifig and his little buggy, then there is Shadow's face, which also is useful (Thanks for the pic, Bloody Jay). So, not. Alpha Team: Don't have problems with them. Some nice sets there. Clikits: I voted this. It just isn't Lego. Lego Factory: Easy way to get some more pieces. Harry Potter: One word: Graveyard Duel. Oh, and Buckbeak too. Bionicole: BIONICLE. I guess my avatar speaks for itself. Quatro: Little kids like them. Other: Galidor is also something to hate. ;-) Shakar
