Bionicle this year is still cool (well, less cool are some Toa Mahri), but I had to vote Castle....way too awesome! Shakar

Ah, thanks Hobbes. You see, I come from a site (BZP) where rules are definitely stricter, so I wanted to be sure. Bonaparte, that's...effective, I must say. Shakar

Well, is this fine? Shakar

I wanted to make a new banner, but I'm not sure of its size. Are there some size limits regarding the banners? Shakar

I really don't think that's chrome, compare it to the chrome gold sword he's holding. I guess it's just the regular pearl gold, like some of last years' minifigs (including the king from the King's Castle). So, if you used brasso, it wouldn't be damaged. Shakar

Thanks Sam! Looks like these are the final designs. If so, I'm very happy. The Skeleton's prison carriage is AWESOME. It comes with 5, count them, 5 minifigs: one black skeleton, two white ones, a human knight and a human soldier, then there are three skeleton horses: if you count them as minifigs, you'll have a total of EIGHT minifigs. For a 20$ set, this is incredibile. At last, we have the confirmation that the joust human knight has the pointed visor we all love. In the same set the skeleton knight has black Euro armour with a new print. Finally, I'm very happy to announce that the dark wizard has two interesting pieces: a black cape with collar and a NEW black wizard/ witch hat with a belt and a skull printed on it! Awesome... More pics. Seems like I was right. Gadunka's neck moves... Shakar

Not sure if somebody saw these, but here are the Toy Fair Castle pics. Nothing new, although there are a few pics of the individual sets. Shakar

New pics of Kongu's "can", thanks to Mask of Destiny: 1 2 I think it looks pretty good. Also, Kongu's mask looks better. By the way, do you think this topic should be pinned? There was another 2007 sets thread, but no one posts in it anymore, and this is becoming the place for conversation about the summer sets. I'll leave to the mods (and to Master Jinzo) this decision. When I heard for the first time of M&S, I imagined a sort of Pridak like figure with the cape (Maxilos), riding a giant seahorse (Spinax). It would have been repetitive but I would have liked another rider and steed duo, with the underwater theme they could have done a cool sea creature. I really like Gadunka, but he's a frog. Not exactly a sea beast. Shakar

I guess it would cost 50 Euro, like the other two Chess sets.Shakar

Just thought of this...what if this year they made....a Castle chess? They made it with KK in 2005 and with Vikings in 2006 (I still haven't that set!) , so why not with this awesome line? Shakar

That is your post on CC, right? So, if I understand correctly, the box is a prototype and the knight with the pointed visor has been "mistakenly placed next to the evil fortress"? If so, yay!Shakar

I fully agree. Lego, please don't waste this occasion of great silver pointed visors in a cheap set! Plus, I want silver classic broadswords, they're the best swords Lego has ever made. They're simply perfect.Shakar

Apparently, Maxilos does not wear a mask: I do agree, tough, that they look like a really nice duo. Maxilo DOES look a Makuta revamp.Shakar

I (STILL) don't own any 2007 set, but I'll review this year from what I've seen so far. The Matoran are fine little sets. I love their two newly-coloured masks and their knives. The Hydruka are also very nice. I myself think that the Barraki are wonderful. Each is a different building experience and a different figure. I think each is really good, I'm especially fond of Takadox, Mantax and Pridak. My least favourite is Kalmah, but he's still pretty cool. I don't like the squid launchers. I like the Titans. I really have no problems with them. The Toa Mahri are looking quite good. With the new pics, I can see some very good aspects of them. I still don't like the launchers and I still think that some of them (Hewkii, for example) look more like villains. Overall, strictly as sets, they're quite decent. Tough I certainly prefer the Barraki. The playsets are looking pretty good too. Shakar

Just thought of this....except the adorable crab, the useless machine gun and the tubes; Jaller looks like what Tahu Nuva should have been like. I think I'll use the Mahri pieces to make Toa Nuva/Olda revamps. Shakar

Look at this. Looks like the skeleton knight got a new armour emblem. Also, there's a different human knight, he's probably the one from the Skeleton Tower. I think. Shakar

Indeed, the other folder shows them. They aren't something that I expected, tough. Takadox and Pridak, Jaller and Hewkii, Ehlek and Kalmah, Matoro and another yellow guy with a Nuparu's mask like head. These "couples" have the same heads. Maybe they're still prototypes? I doubt it. This doesn't look good... Shakar

That castle is gorgeus! I'm definately buying it. The skeletons....love them. I'm impressed that there's such a big quality leap in a year. Maybe they fired the old KK designers? :-D Shakar

Lovin' the Titans. The Mahri look much better. The playsets look good, seems like the minifigs use the neo-skeletons' arms. Maxilo(s?) is GUNMETAL! Yay! Now he looks awesome. AND THERE'S CASTLE TOO! Man, 2007 is great. Shakar

Thanks sam89! Wow, 68 pieces! That's the can set with the highest amount of pieces yet! 8-

Not a real MOC, however, thanks to Lego and its WONDERFUL Castle line, this summer I'll make my Undedad army. Shakar
