I think you and MstrofPPPts make a good point about the color; I also felt that something was a little off, and I think your comment about the colors distracting from the main scene is spot on. No worries MstrOfPppts - I appreciate the feedback, and didn't feel harshly criticized. Unfortunately, I disassembled my moc shortly after taking the photos due to lack of space in the LEGO room . Now I know to keep my next build together longer so that I can incorporate some suggestions from you guys

Our squad was ordered to secure the gas processing control center to prevent sabotage by fleeing rebels. Command realized that a stray blaster bolt could ignite the tibanna gas and set off a city-destroying chain reaction, so we were told to prepare for hand-to-hand combat. Anyone who surrendered was placed into binders, to be picked up by our back-up squad. Those who fought, well ... untrained miners armed with tools are no match for armored stormtroopers with vibroblades. Our casualty numbers were well within the accepted range. Overall view:
