  1. Ha! That is the best one yet
  2. 5. Gingerbread Boy Part assortment (5 pieces): New lollipop piece . 3L bar piece. Recolor of the S11 Gingerbread Man head mold. Short legs. Regular head.
  3. Sadly, I concur. This is one of the poorest offerings in a CMF wave ever. They went too deep into the rabbit hole with some of these. I just don't know who they are. And after reading some comments on social media, it seems I'm not alone. On the other side, there are characters like Superman and Joker who could be on any set, and they are just branding them as "Collectible Minifigures" because they have some extra lines of printing. For me that's not how the CMFs work. They were meant to be super special characters that you wouldn't get on a random set like the circus characters, monsters, fairytales and such. But here we have like the n-th version of Joker, WonderWoman, Batman and Superman being sold as CMFs. I hope TLG will bring the theme back home with CMF Series 20 because this one....
  4. Thanks everyone for the comments. Gald everyone is liking the minifigures so far. Due the positive response, I'm considering making another next year. (Also because I still have a lot of Holiday themed figures that didn't make into this Calendar). Well, Father Frost is Santa, just from different region of the world. And the Snow Maiden is his daughter and companion while giving the gifts. Santa Claus daughter is also a character that is becoming more and more popular over the years. This year a Disney movie about her came out . And there has been like 3 or 4 already. So, these last 2 are just Santa and his daughter, but just seen as Russia depicts them. I get what you are saying, but I don't like "updated" CMFs. I wouldn't like an "updated classic Santa Claus" taking the spot on a CMF wave. That's why I'm making the calendar this way. Holiday elves, Mrs. Claus, Snowman, Gingerbread Man/Woman are characters already made on either real series or my own. So, trying to not be repetitive with already released characters. So, there won't be another Snowman or another Holiday Elf or another Mrs. Claus. Thanks for the feedback, especially coming from an Advent Calendar Guru, like you
  5. 4. Snow Maiden Part assortment (6 pieces): New russian headdress. Recolor of S17 rabbit. Recolor of the Disney S2 bird. Slope. Regular head and torso.
  6. Hmm no I dont have them in my Advent Calendar
  7. Ah? He is pretty much Russia's Santa Thats the secret project
  8. Lovely. She looks like a little pixie
  9. 3. Father Frost Part assortment (9 pieces): New fur hat. Beard. Sack introduced in Series C. Scepter (Gem+telescope+3L bar). Slope. Regular head and torso.
  10. Yes. I'll post them all together on December 24th
  11. Same. Great for those who like the characters, but there is nothing for me these. Maybe Huntress and Aquaman for the hairpieces but I wont buy minifigures just for 1 piece. Other than that... hmmm this might be one of the worst CMF waves. Hard to say. Batman Movie 2 was quite terrible as well.
  12. That cant be the final bag art, right? The box looks great. Very eye-catching
  13. 2. Polar Bear Guy Part assortment (7 pieces): New bear mask. Mug. 2x2 cookie round tile (x2). Regular head, legs and torso.
  14. Very interesting and original idea for an advent calendar Will be checking around as usual Thanks for sharing
  15. 'Tis the season to be jolly! Hello and welcome to a very different CMF series: the Advent Calendar This time around I wanted to make very special "series" for a very special season: Christmas. The offering will be a little different than usual: we'll see 1 minifigure per day from now until December 24th: all regular CMFs but all Holiday themed. The group pic, leaflet, bag and new pieces will posted after the last minfigure. Hope you'll be checking around even if you don't celebrate Christmas. NOTE. I'm playing to be The LEGO Group here, so I'm taking the new pieces from Series A to Q as already introduced pieces. It's that time of the year again and the minifigures are here to celebrate the holiday spirit! Join the countdown to the merriest day of the year with 24 Minifigure from Holiday Stories, Fantasy Chracters and Holiday celebrations from around the world. Each character includes one or more accesories, plus a white display plate and a collector's leaflet. This colllection includes... 1. Confectioner Part assortment (8 pieces): Chef hat+hair combo. Microfigure recolored as the Series 11 Gingerbread Man. Microfigure recolored as the Series E Gingerbread Woman. Gingerbread House (2x2 Brick+ 2x2 Double Slope, both with special printing). Regular head, legs and torso. Cloth skirt.
  16. Are you guessing? Because that didnt sound like a guess A book shop sounds interesting.
  17. Im surprised the CMFs havent been revealed at this point. Not even a teaser. Is the release date January or February ?
  18. I think it will be very interesting to see where this theme goes after Series 20 It doesn't suprise me to hear the Superhero CMFs dont sell well on Europe but that's exactly what we are getting next January. which does surprise me. So, they are releasing a series that they already know won't sell well there, especially having such oscure characters.
  19. Yeah but they created that rule, which means they can backpedal whenever they want if it tuns out to be a more profitable alternative
  20. Oh boy... why? Im not sure I like this.
  21. Do you think TLG might release different CMFs line- ups for USA and Europe at some point? They kind of already did it with Team GB and DFB
  22. If you look at the teaser it shouldnt be that hard to spot him anyway
  23. Thanks everyone for the comments. Hope you'll like it Well....
  24. That Cap Marvel polybag is better than most of the wave
  25. Get your eggnog ready because the countdown starts next Sunday!
