  1. That's the point - the film doesn't answer the questions because it's from the point of view of an ordinary bunch of people - do you think in real life a scientist would randomly come up to you and explain everything? Oh, and the monster looked better on screen. TK
  2. And so came about the very first brass band. TK
  3. TK to Leiutenant IS: You were reported Missing In Action, presumed dead, Leiutenant. We never confirmed it. As to the rebels not feeling betrayed... I know as well as any the compassion the pitiful rebels feel... no, we will go ahead as planned- Admiral TK, the Rebels have fled from Polis Massa. They jumped to hyperspace several standard galactic hours ago. We are still tracking them. WHAT? How did they know we were coming? Or did they leave of their own accord? But it does not matter. We are still tracking them. Have they split up, Captain? No, they are still moving in formation. Excellent, that makes it all the more easier for us. Have Commander Jax follow them. We will strike where they land. If they split up, attack immediately. They must not escape again... And it comes to be, it's the burning light at the end of their tunnel... The time is near... TK
  4. You believe the Rebels will actually escape to have their cause 'greatened' by seeing you, Leiutenant? I have lesser faith in your ex-colleagues. But I do not think the reason provided is your real one for not wishing to reveal yourself. You do not wish the rebels to see you betraying them, do you? You still feel compassion, and you dread to feel the anguish when they see what has become of their leader... I ask you, why would it draw sympathy at the Senate? You have turned of your own free will - at least that is what they are told - and this would cause perhaps more pain than news of your death... to see your talents put to use for the Empire... it will not greater their cause, IS... merely crush their spirits further yet, should any, as you seem so intent on believing, escape. TK
  5. TK to Commander Jax: Excellent. We shall regroup at your position. We should be ready to depart for Polis Massa shortly. TK
  6. TK to Lord Vader: Very well, My Lord. I shall accompany Commander Jax and Lietuenant IS to the Rebel Base. When they are finished, I shall once again return to our great Weapon... TK to Casewindu: General, the time has come. Gather your men, we are heading for Polis Massa. Regroup with me and the Commander at the encrypted co-ordinates. TK to Commander Jax: Commander, the General and I will accompany you to Polis Massa. A full assault is needed, I think... we must wipe these rebels from the galaxy once and for all. The time for infiltration is over. And Commander? Make sure they get a glimpse of IS before they perish... make sure they know that their once great leader has been turned away by their ignorance and pathetic attempts at destruction... let them feel the might of the Empire... TK
  7. Your suggestions are noted once again, Commander. You are highly intelligent, and I do not doubt your feelings on this matter, but I will confirm with Lord Vader before we take action. I do not like to think what he would do if he found the Rebel Commander was working with us... TK to Lord Vader: My Lord, we have the location of the rebel base. Scouts need only confirm it before we move in. Also, Lord Vader, the Rebel has expressed great interest in becoming a part of the Empire again. Commander Jax feels this would not place the Empire at risk, but would be beneficial for us: Scouts has no choice; no way out. However, I do see a tiny flaw in this plan: if he were a member of the Empire, he would of course be alerted to the presence of the Weapon. Of course, he may not get out to tell the Rebels of it personally (if gathering information is his plan), but he could easily send a transmission. I feel this issue should be watched over seriously, as Scouts has taken to asking about the Weapon several times while held prisoner. TK
  8. Excellent! So maybe it can be connected then! TK
  9. Didn't she connect her 'sabers during Volume 1 of the first Clone Wars series? TK
  10. You wish for a position within the Empire? Ha! Do not think us so foolhardy to not suspect you, Scouts. It is indeed apparent that you wish this post not for want of gain through the Empire... you seek to infiltrate us, do you not? And, if perhaps you were to secure an Imperial post, the rebels would instantly be alerted of your continuing existence... there shall be no agreement. You will inform the good Commander of the location... we need only confirmation as we are tracking them as we speak. Either way, the rebellion is not long for this galaxy... TK
  11. Carnage. Venom is great too, but Carnage is just... insane. Literally. There's something about him. And, uh, I've never read a Marvel Comic with Carnage in. I don't really buy them. But I saw that animated show years and years ago. ;-) TK
  12. To be honest, I'd expect Snowtrooper/Hoth Rebel or Scout Trooper/Endor Rebel BPs, seeing as 2007 and 2008 have had droid-type BPs (Droid BP, Hailfire Droid). And teh Fall line doesn't always follow the same pattern - look at 2007: 2 @ $30 (Sith Infiltrator/Naboo Starfighter) 1 @ $50 (JSF) 1 @ $100 (MTT) and Fall 2008 has the sub-line - the Clone Wars range. So for 2009 I'd expect another Clone Wars wave or a pattern similar to 2007 - probably the former. TK
  13. Ah, thanks. The thumbnail made it look blue on BL, so I didn't think it was that one. TK
  14. Hey Hinckley, I was wondering what baseplate you used in your MOC Mine. I can't find it on Bricklink. TK
  15. Ehhh... hate to disappoint you... it's not chrome TK
  16. Looking at the pattern of the last couple of years, there'll most likely be a couple of small sets (Battle Packs?), two medium sized sets, and two larger sets. For example: 2 @ $10 (Battle Packs) 2 @ $20 (Hailfire Droid/JSF) 1 @ $40 (AT-AP) 1 @ $50 (Rogue Shadow) That is what we got this year (2008). In 2007 it followed much the same pattern: 2 @ $10 (Battle Packs) 2 @ $20 (AT-ST/Grevious' SF) 1 @ $40 (Y-Wing Fighter) 1 @ $50 (ILC) So I would think it would be safe to assume the trend will continue into 2009. TK
  17. Not a double post; I jumped in before you. TK
  18. You want another Vader? In a battle pack, of all things? "Wow, if I buy 10 battle packs I can spray paint my Vaders yellow, and red, and blue... rainbow Vaders!" :-P And, uh, NTF, I believe either 7677 or 7678 is the AT-TE. The other is the Droid Gunship. I've been telling people this from the start; TLC are NOT going to release a TIE Defender in a Clone Wars line-up. TK
  19. Heh. I haven't played it online yet but I know where to find my friend code and how to add them. If you go to your message folder you'll see your address book under "create new message"; it'll tell you your Wii number and you can register others through there too. TK
  20. Troll: See, this is why you should let me organise parties.
  21. Hey Yoda, I got Mario Kart Wii as well, it's brilliant Do you play online? TK
  22. What did I say, rebel? SILENCE. Bakura is an Imperial planet, with a prison stronghold. You shall be held there while we decide what to do with you. There will be no negotiations. The Empire does not barter with rebels. The planet is more heavily guarded than you could imagine. You will not escape. Word has been put out of your death at Carida... your rebel friends will soon give up hope. The rebels will fall, with one fell swoop. And then the full might of the Empire shall be unleashed upon this galaxy... you shall see... you shall all see... TK
  23. [aboard the Extinguisher] Silence, Rebel. We are almost at Bakura. There is no 'Death Star'. There never has been, and there never will be. Ah, at last... [exits hyperspace] We have arrived... Captain! Arrange transport! I shall escort the prisoner down to the planet myself... Right away, Admiral. There's a Landing Craft in Hangar 18. TK
  24. Dwarves' Mine and Knights Catapult Defense arrived today, although DM is slightly overpriced. *hmpf_bad* Still good though. *thumbup* TK
  25. $100 price point? It doesn't look that big either... bugger, I'm not spending that much on a build-it-yourself statue - especially seeing as that means it looks like it'll be £70-100. :-/ TK
