They seem....rare. Does anyone know the most common minifigure that has them? I need to get on Bricklink and get some, as they are good for old school X-Men customs.

Thanks for the comments. :) The Gambit is purist! Its the arms from punk skater CMF, torso and legs from two different Alien Conquest aliens.

Yep, they CGI'd out the blade from the scene where the blade goes through some one or thing (to avoid spoilers). I got the 3D version and was hoping it was still in there. It wasn't. Gonna import too, but wait a bit to see if there is ever a super epic edition.

Thanks! I don't remember what some of the pieces are from (like the head), but the torso and the legs are from Alien Conquest aliens (with a plain black crotch), the arms are from CMF Series 6 punk rocker/skater, the brown cloak I think is from a troll warlock, and the red cloak piece is from Palpatine from (I think the Republic Ship) and to top it off, the pink stud is from the Alien Villainess from CMF Series 8. :)

Some more customs! Work in progress Sinestro. Luke Cage is now joined by his wife, Jewel. I cannot remember whose this was, but I was inspired by Rogue and Gambit, so tried to recreate Rogue. Prof X Really happy with this Gambit. X-Men. Mysterio. Chameleon. Bit of a dodgy one....Yellowjacket. Dr Strange. Avengers shot, including Vision. And inspired by TheWatchman.....Taskmaster.

Yeah if anyone has the pictures, feel free to private message me a link. :(

That is amazing! I have to do that now!

I am quite happy for anyone to take a photo of me naked. Also ; I really like that Chima figure, and I am looking forward to seeing the proper vehicles.

As the Batman enemies have a limited hue pallet, and are generally not very colourful, I gave Killer Croc a different colour legs. I have made Ra's Al Ghul, Black Mask and Mad Hatter. And of course Man-Bat (although I cannot claim I did much!) Here are my Justice League. And now for Marvel. I have made an Ant-Man, and an Ant-size Ant-Man, She-Hulk, Whiplash and a couple of others. Luke Cage! Cyclops! More photos on my facebook, feel free to add me. http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10152003301655581.878661.509970580&type=3

I think this looks amazing. All over it like a bad rash. Want new pictures immediately.

I think it is a great little set. The bike is sleek, meaty and cool. Looks tough and Lasha is a great figure.

If this is like Ice Planet 2.0 I will explode with excitement. I would like to add some speculation wood to the rumour fire.... "LEGO Galaxy" - could this be the first of an overarching space theme? Like LEGO City, encompasses mining, police, fire etc....this could be LEGO Galaxy, encompassing Blacktron II, Ice Planet, Alien Conquest - perhaps each year/wave focusing on one theme (Ice Planet) with some smaller sets dedicated to the other space factions (Like 4 x Ice Planet, 1 x Blacktron II, 1x Alien Conquest) etc. Supporting evidence - LEGO's somewhat "revival" or continuation of older space themes in the Minifigures.

I think its somewhat likely we'll get maybe Iron Man and Thor sets next year, OR Avengers (or and), as they both have movies out next year.

Thanks for this, I've been watching this thread like a hawk and must have also missed if it was confirmed for the UK. Is it the same dates? 4th and 5th May? Going to have to hope for a big casino win and stock up on Shield trucks or something. :p

LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 7 Discussion
ReZourceman replied to whung's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Eeep, sorry about that. I went in there yesterday and bought 12 packs. I left about 12 though, so must have sold a lot after 2pm. -
To be fair, it hasn't quite been a month yet, and they did say it was pre-order, but as I said the wording of "Will ship by Apr-il 1st" infers that it will leave them at the latest, january 1st. Would it have hurt them to send them out early so people get them next to official release?
-
I'm a little irritated that it stated "Will ship by Apr-il 1st" and then it doesn't. With the massive Easter Weekend it now becomes a distinct possibility that we won't receive it before the break. :/ Doesn't really seem fair that you pre-order and get it later than randoms just strolling into John Lewis or LEGO shops. I should note, I went to John Lewis Milton Keynes yesterday. They had S7 and they had Iron Man and Hulk build-a-figures, but that was it.
-
"Pre-order, will ship by january 1st" They don't have long left to keep their promise. :(
-
I am sad that the LEGO orders aren't being processed/shipped yet. It says they will be sent by April 1st, so Sunday. I called up yesterday, and they said it would be sent Monday...she seemed to insinuate that the stock was in, (which we could assume anyway as they have shown up on store shelves). Why no sending early? Makes me sad face.
