Why do LEGO toys have value to you? 1. Countless hours of fun making something. 2. The pleasure of playing with with the kids. 3. Relaxation. Get's my mind away from a stressfull day. What makes LEGO brand construction toys worth your money? In what way has the LEGO brand let you down? The very short version of this answer would be: "Changing three major colors" Recently, how has the LEGO brand improved? That is easy. "Return to the brick". The announcement that LEGO would return to the brick. No more special colors, no more special bricks. Back to BASIC. YES. This is for me (And my kids - mind you) THE RIGHT WAY! Give 'em a pile of normal color - normal bricks and they are busy for hours. What would you like to see LEGO (re)introduce in the next three years? Tough one. 1. Continue SW. This is why I am an AFOL in the first place *wub* 2. Expand the 9V train series! An AFOL dream. a. Remote controlled points b. Alternative tracks. Half tracks/larger circles and so on. c. Engines and wagons in seperate packs. Like the Santa Fe concept. 3. City sets other than police/firestation/contruction. a. eg. shops with different goods. Bakery/Sports/And so on. b. Cars for the city. Firm replications/ lorries / buses / and so on. 4. Modelteam *wub* a. alternative to 5571. I would *wub* more of this kind. 5. Mindstorm developed a. Just ASK what an engineer needs :| BUT for the kids ;) 1. More "use your imagination" set. a. Sets (BULK lots) with 1 billion alternative models. What does LEGO need to do to sell more products for less cost to them? Make small sets with a lot of figs. They sell!! At the marked on the way out! Kids today are more influenced by TV than ever. So....... Make a minifig EPIC. Look at programs as Teletubbies *sick* Pokemon *sick* bayblade *sick* and so on. BUT THIS SELL. Unfortunately. So a minifig series *satis* "Life in a LEGO city ;)" or what ever theme you need sold. Some steps were taken with the Bionicle movies! The kids love them - and it made my son - not even 6 yet - ask for Bionicle. (Even when he had a hard time pronouncing it) SW, HP, Spidey will not last forever! So MAKE you own epic! What reason(s) do you have for not buying new LEGO sets? What would it take for you to spend more money on new LEGO products versus buying sets/parts on the second hand markets? Nothing. I am spending more on new LEGO products than second hand markets. What will it take for LEGO to remain the best construction toy for all ages and be a profitable company? What are your home country, first name and age? Denmark, Some call me John even when it is not my real name ;), above 35 :^D Is there anything you would like to say with this last question that you feel someone at LEGO should not go without reading? LEGO has been awarded toy of the century. And it certainly is. But that also puts LEGO under an obligation to deliver the best always. This is a hard and ungreatful path so beware. LEGO now have two markeds. One for kids and one for adults ;) And even if the marked for kids is larger - kids grow up - and become AFOLs if the influence is right. So stay focused! So - I have started :$ And will edit as I get done(or refine my answer) *glasses* If one is allowed to edit how does one mark the answer as done :^D Not done yet ;)

:oo LEGO are you looking in on this. If not. DO IT NOW. Awsome. I love 'em ALL. And I think my favorite would be Ackbar. But I'm not sure.

Ok. We're on the track again :$ Or should I say building again. But I could'nt picture the castle in my head *wacko* I took Shrek II to wake my up :D The kings castle is just so *wub* So you will see elements of the Shrek II castle combined with Imperial classics ;) I have decided to make a full mlcad model while building :oD So that of cause delays the process. And no real pictures until the real model is done ;) But no promise this time on a finishdate *glasses* Here is a preview of my work

Jep. LEGO only made one monorail system !! ;)

For me. A BIG disapointment. *sick* What ever happend to the prototype plate one :( The one that looked like the AT-AT First the colors. With plates they could have made shadow effect . Now it is White/tan/black bricks :| And the rest. Well..... It might hit my shelf at one point - but way out in the future on 90% clearence.

Not for me :'( Look at the age range. 7-14 :D They don't look REALLY cool to me. Sorry folks. But perhaps they will look better on my desk ;) Who knows

Been there. Seen It. Done That....... :oD GREAT FUN. But it needs some time to settle. AND this means no more SW-openings :'( I'll miss that.

They are excelent. I like the real one, the extended Orchestra special and the "behind the scenes" with Mark Hamill as speaker :oo Wish they would do more of these *satis*

Burlington Northern Santa Fe has great color. But the model sucks.
