So, you're basically saying there is no possible way it could be better than Arkham City. Do you also think the Earth is flat?

The new movies will be made, maybe even one a year as is said. People will go and see them, they will rake in a lot of cash; and maybe even be heralded as fantastic films. Peoples' opinions on these new movies will change, some will hate them and some will love them. But they will still be made, complaining in thread doesn't solve anything. At best, write a letter to Disney, though of course, they won't read it. It was bound to happen eventually, spin-offs with new actors replacing the old. When did you expect this would occur? A hundred years from now, when we're dead? Would it be ok then? Or should Star Wars just fade into anonymity with its' fans getting old with it? It doesn't change anything, you can perceive the mythos as you prefer. If I wanted to imagine that after ROTJ Ewok's took over, I could and no one could tell me differently. I strongly agree with you here. The Marvel movies are banal and thoughtless, the script for Captain America was garbage imo. So, I don't go and see them. But, I also don't have an interest in Marvel so that probably adds to my distaste. Star Wars, on the other hand, I love. Which is why I enjoy pretty much anything with it's logo on it. Because of this I think I may enjoy the new movies, unless they do what Kingdom of the Crystal Skull did to Indy... But even that wasn't too bad the third time I watched it. Still, I have reservations about the new movies. They could be horrible and I'd be sadly disappointed. But this is Star Wars, and Disney isn't stupid enough to throw away a golden opportunity like this. It's more profitable to make good movies than bad, especially when the fate of Star Wars could have an effect on their reputation as a whole.

What would you do if your minifigs came alive?
Nightshroud99 replied to SheepEater's topic in Community
I have thought of this before; (I know, I'm weird) I would make them do stopmotions, except it'd be live. I'd be a famous Master LEGO Manipulating Cinematographer! Other than that, I'd put them to work doing nefarious deeds - stealing and stuff like that. Then, I'd probably sell them into slavery, to the highest bidder; and make more money. (What kid wouldn't want a live, talking Minifigure???) To put it blunty, I'd devolve into an evil Criminal Kingpin of plasticine skulduggery. -
Eurobricks Mafia II: Mafia School: Conclusion

I blame Shadows, he taught me that hehe And yes, how dare you still be alive while townies are dying left and right! That's not good at all. Technically Danny was alive for the discussion of the night 1 conversion.- 85 replies

Eurobricks Mafia II: Mafia School: Conclusion
Nightshroud99 replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Rick seemed overly townie, and the fact he was still alive later on seemed suspicious. I didn't see how a player as good as Rick, who was acting townie, could be alive at that point. Unless he was scum. I didn't want him to be mayor, but he was elected. Eventually we did get him lynched; on the evidence we had was what Kiel posted. Other than that it was just a gut feeling of mine, which isn't much to go on. Hinckley was a straight-forward lynch, and I was glad when you were killed Can't trust the strong players. Redblade didn't vote with the masons on, day 7? And, of course, Boywonder had evidence against him. I'm not sure why the scum tried to recruit Hinckley and Rick early on, that doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Although we won I feel I could have done more, I didn't contact anyone else behind the scenes except for Walter. I also didn't step up until after Callmepie died. But I'm satisfied with how the game turned around and how I played. I had pretty bad judgement on who was scum early on though, except for Hinckley. But I didn't have the balls to go after you without any evidence.- 85 replies

Your past Mafia experience EB Mafia 1 & 2, The Pearl, Gotham, etc.. Your ability to focus on the game over the next 32 days Easy Peasy Will you be able to keep up with 20 hour NA deadlines? Always can. Your favorite Mafia moment Everything that is going on in EB Mafia 2, can't talk about it yet.. Tell me why you think Vanilla Townies are important or how they are most useful Cannon fodder. But on another note I just had an idea, what if everyone had a NA? That'd be, interesting... (6 steps in a Mafia application?) Give me your word that you'll participate in whatever crazy concoction I've doctored to avoid the meta-gaming. It will take everyone's cooperation and to operate on their honor. I suppose, I'm not sure how it'll work but I'm game.\ Pretty excited to finally participate in a Hinkley game, I've heard so many wonderful things. Plus, the theme is notorious in EB and funny.- 74 replies

I actually really like this figure, I'm more fond of it than last years' TC Protocol droid. Thankfully I haven't bought many of the new Star Wars sets so I can pick this up come May. Thanks for the review.

Eurobricks Mafia II: Mafia School: Day Eight
Nightshroud99 replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
The town has turned this game around and brought us back from the brink of losing; yet you call them sheep? Unfortunately, claiming vanilla now probably isn't going to work, and yes you do have a say in this. If you are indeed town then share your input and continue. Your post sounds like the last breathe from a dying scum, in my opinion.- 23 replies

Vote: Li'l Rick (Rick) I've been suspicious of you since day 5 when I re-evaluated what was going on. You're as cunning as Hinckley and given the evidence, and my own gut feeling, I think you're scum. It's true that Redblade has also been acting scummy, but I believe Rick is more manipulative and thus a bigger threat.- 52 replies

Eurobricks Mafia II: Mafia School: Day Seven
Nightshroud99 replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I'm starting to believe you Walter, but I'd like to hear what the masons say. Your first few targets, two of them are confirmed town. I imagine that Hinckley wanted you to go after them? Also, the day Hinckley was lynched you blocked a known scum. This is good, but I suppose there isn't any way to confirm this tidbit. That being said, I don't feel good about lynching the town blocker; especially when there are other's, ie: Rick who have evidence against them and also have pinged scum for me. I agree with you about Redblade, he hasn't been doing much. Unless he's working behind the scenes.- 52 replies

I'm still sticking to my guns about lynching Walter. Interesting news about Rick; and apparently, Endgame is a mason. It's sucks megablocks that Piratedave was killed, but I think he won the game for us townies. No vote for mayor, so I guess I'll wait and hear what Walter or Rick has to say.- 52 replies

Eurobricks Mafia II: Mafia School: Day Six
Nightshroud99 replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I don't know, but from what Dave has gathered it's likely Boywonder is a(or)the converter. Then, from what he has also learned Walter wasn't convertible. It's likely he's scum, I don't favor the odds of the conversion block. Whether or not he's the killer, I can't be sure. He was close to Hinckley, from what I hear, so they may have been on the same team. We lynch a possible scum with Walter, or go after a known converter. I prefer the former because there's a chance he's a killer, as I've said. However, I feel the bandwagon is going to form on Boywonder. Yep, but this game has less players. It's still likely that both teams started with more than one player. @Redblade as well. My first post of day 5 I stated my suspicions of Hinckley, Rick, Walter and Boywonder. We managed to lynch Hinckley that day; but I am still suspicious of the rest. Day 5 the scum were in an amazing position, why the heck would I openly go after them?- 58 replies

Eurobricks Mafia II: Mafia School: Day Six
Nightshroud99 replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
There's probably at most two killers, one is dead. I'm metagaming, but I came up with this idea because I was scum in the last EB mafia. Aye, Dave shouldn't go and tell everyone who the mason's are, if there are any more. But, the more there are the less chance a scum recruitment will be successful. Honestly, Hinckley voting for Walter and even wanting to lynch him actually reads scum in my opinion. Hinckley is a smart player and doing this could verify him as town, I don't know Walter at all, though, so not sure if he'd have even gone along with that idea. But it's bothered me. Also, didn't Dave say the masons tried to convert Walt? That's another red flag. How else can we confirm him? What's going to change tomorrow? Except the fact that Dave will probably be dead. If anyone didn't realize this... It's possible Walter's town, which is a step backward for us. Maybe lynching Boywonder is the best idea, he is almost %100 scum. I want to see what else comes to light, if anything. But, in the meantime, I'll Vote: Li'l Walter Kovacs (Walter Kovacs)- 58 replies

Nightshroud99 replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Isn't it also likely that there is more than one converter? If Boywonder is a converter, there may be another on his team. But since Hinckley did target Pandora when she died, it's likely he was a killer. My reasoning is that if there's another killer left we should kill them. I don't think the scum can convert masons. Nor can they go after the scum, obviously. Piratedave, are there a lot of masons left? If so, the chance of Boywonder successfully converting another townie seems less. But a kill will definitely go through. I don't have much faith in our blocker, if we have one still.- 58 replies

My 2 cents; I don't think Boywonder should be lynched today. We should go after Walter, or whoever Dave thinks is another possible scum. If Boywonder is a converter, then he isn't as dangerous as a killer. There are only so many people that can be converted, anyway, and it's day six. A killer, on the other hand, will whittle our numbers down and since our vig is probably dead, we'll be screwed. Also, only four people total voted for mayor so far...- 58 replies
