Great Review At first i thought this set was going to be something similar to the venator / star destroyer too. But it turns out to be just a play scene. Oh well, it's still very nice though. Price was a bit heavy on my end as I brought it off Lego for $139.99 + tax

Lego contacted us today to have the images removed. (The files are still in our data bases but i'm not allowed to distribute it to the public) Same case goes for toysrus.ca.

I saw the torch today in Burnaby. The weather was bad and it was pouring... It was rather short and only around 3 minutes. There were a few trucks with performers in there, some police cars to open the way and the people running the torch. Its scheduled to be at Vancouver in the evening. BTW, I heard rumors that people that do the torch relay had to pay $375 to do the run. The fee covers the torch and the olympic shirt you get. Kind of pricey as I thought it was volunteer

The magnets will drive the minifigures value to around $4 each. I actually would prefer without magnets as I don't like the quality of them and it makes the value go down.

Ya but sometimes they might get free shipping like now at toysrus canada during the middle of the sale... They have free shipping over $49.99. Just wanna give everyone an update. Toysrus.ca now has free shipping on orders over $49.99. Its valid for the current sale offers too. Plus, Tantive is now on backorder and death star sold out.

Power Miners may have a high chance of getting discontinued, but its still not certain. Although we haven't seen any pictures from toy fairs for August, Power Miners may come back in 2011. Oh well, lego themes are pretty short now generally around 1-1.5 years except for Star Wars, City, Technic, and Creator.

From my records... ToysRUs US has BOGO 1/2 price from November 29 - December 3 / 2009 The sale did not include Star Wars, but a glitch on their site allowed buyers to get the Star Wars deal. However, it was fixed shortly 1-2 days later. They also had a Buy 2 Get 1 Free sale from September 20-26 / 2009 The sale did not include Star Wars once again, but like the sale above, there was glitch and allowed buyers to get Star Wars at discounted rate for 1-2 days. Kmart although lacks a selection also had Buy 2 Get 1 Free during black friday. The Home One won't be discontinued till the end of the year. The same goes for the Janaury 2009 sets and Count Dooku Solar Sailer. However, Republic Attack Gunship & At-te ends its life during mid 2010 around summer. Hope this helps

Ya 50 Euros is cracy. But of course, there is a larger market in the US so it even outs. $30 US for this set would probably be more suitable but with the high prices lately, we're lucky already to get it at $40 especially since we get a new wampa. I expected $50 considering TLG has been rapidly increasing LEGO sets recently. But if we compare it with the hoth rebel base, this set is no match for it. By adding $10, we get so much more.

The western train chase will probably be $79.99 US and looks very small. Hopefully, it will be bigger than what we see in the picture. $89.99 US sets are $119.99 CAD $99.99-$119.99 US sets are $139.99-$149.99 CAD Prices don't look too good with the pieces we get But I really like Trash Compactor Escape with the little aliens, teddy bear and the pit.
