Sponge bob doesn't even sell too well and usually have low ratings even on the Lego S/H website. They may be stopping spongebob but they may not as they usually release 2-3 sets every year. The krusty krab i heard was a bad remake as its a even smaller set than before. Its the same for good neighbors at bikini bottom.

[Review] 7748 Corporate Alliance Tank Droid
BlueDragonZ replied to huck to flat's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The tank is quite accurate but my only complaint is the set is so small and tehres not much. With a price increase, i was hoping they would increase the set size. But to my disappointment, they decreased the set more and increased the price.. But great review and i would tottally recommend this set if you got the $ -
Looks like there ain't too many uniqe pieces, but the final product looks good. And its nice to see they give the instructions not just a piece of paper like the mini v-19 torrent. Too bad they don't offer brickmaster here in Canada or available for purchase like the uK and europe.

I'm currently looking for Brand-New sets including the -7678 Droid Gunship and/or -7663 Sith Infiltrator I'm willing to pay the full shipping cost and a reasonable price. Or we can do trades instead as I have lots of NEW Star Wars sets including the recent ones. If any member can help, it would be greatly appreciated. I would also prefer a seller from the USA or Canada, but international is ok as well too. Thanks.

[Review] 8014 - Clone Walker Battle Pack
BlueDragonZ replied to Walter Kovacs's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Great Review ! I buy these clone packs mainly for army building and easy way to get clones. Not really worth it for the lego as you don't built much but for the troops !!! -
This was a great set especially the sand troopers. But i agree with others that they could really have free more space with the missles. But still, it carries more troops than the republic attack shuttle which there is only 1 seat in the back. (kind of lame when its a "shuttle") The gear system are just fantastic. Great review big cam.

[US] ToysRUs Black Friday Sale 40% off
BlueDragonZ replied to BlueDragonZ's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Oops. Sorry, please delate thread. -
Toysrus in the US is offering 40% off 3 lego sets this black friday. -SW Twilight $60 (reg. $99.99) -Indy Temple Escape $42.59 (reg. $70.99 ) -Agents Mobile Command Center (reg. $53.99) The best deal i find so far would be the agents as its priced at MSRP where as both the twilight and especially the indy temple escape set had a overpriced retail cost. Its still a good deal for the twilight though if you missed out on the 50% off S/H deal for $45 as its now no longer sold at Shop @ Home. Or should i say all these sets are no longer sold at Shop @ Home.. http://www.blackfriday.org/toysrus-black-friday-ad.html Enjoy another great sale !

What ??? Looks like these brickmaster exclusives are more popular than i expected.. Was planning to order from some Euro seller but guess like prices are still going to be high. I suggest others to order the AT-TE now. Looks like its limited quantity. Maybe they might put it on backorder and make more though.

Black Friday 2009 discussion thread
BlueDragonZ replied to Darth Legolas's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
They say its save $40 when the actual retail cost is only $79.99... But they are giving away a free gift card of $10 if you spend $100 or more. -
Hi everyone. I have quite a few of the recent Star Wars sets and also some minifigures available for trade as well. For trade, would prefer to trade according to the bricklink value of the item. I would like MISB Brand-New of these sets. They are also in the order of what i want most to what i want least. Chrome Vader (Almost Complete - Just waiting for item to arrive) US Target Holiday exclusive -8033 Mini General Grievous Starfighter uK Mirror Promos -30006 Clone Walker -30004 Battle Droid On Stap -30005 Imperial Speeder Bike

2011 is probably going to the best considering its the last year of LEGO Star Wars. Or was it 2012?
-
Even though the atlantis sets looks really cool. I'll only pick up the 2 tiny ones especially the Alien Wizard one with the little staff. Saving $ for the next wave of Star Wars and those UCS sets..

StarWarsShop.com 25% off ALL LEGO
BlueDragonZ replied to BlueDragonZ's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Their shipping is really expensive especially to international and canada. Its 25-75% shipping charges of order value for Canada and 50-200% shipping charges of order value for international. But its a good deal for US especially for picking up the exclusive as S/H rarely discounts those. -
Update: The republic Gunship is now sold out. Hey everybody, theres a 25% off all products including LEGO at StarWarsShop.com. The offer is for 2 days only. Ends tommorow November 11 at 11:59pm PST. StarWarsshop ships WORLDWIDE ! But keep in mind they charge a fortune for shipping to Canada & international. http://shop.starwars.com/special_offers.xml Enjoy the sale !

Is there like a big difference from the CW R2-D2 and the regular ones? Anyways, back to topic, i think the 7669 is good for younger builders and is a pretty good play value. The fighter has several simple functions. But like other members, i would recommend the y-wing starfighter as its a bigger set, longer build time and will provide a better play experience. But its a bit pricy.

Who wants to buy a Café Corner for me in the US?
BlueDragonZ replied to merman's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
I'm from Canada and can help you order it as well. But it cost $199.99 CAD here in Canada. So i think your best bet is probably order from the US as its almost $1 CAD = $1 USD despite the fact lego charges us here like 1.5X the price. -
Black Friday 2009 discussion thread

They do carry that set. They carry the full range of lego. Its just their selection isn't that great so seeing big sets in kmart stores are rare. -
Latest updates on LEGO set sales
BlueDragonZ replied to gylman's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
As dhaas06 mentioned, Actually, the mini bull dozer is now $7.79, single drum roller $19.19 and the tractor is $9. So the deal is pretty good actually. -
Its also a "USED" set for $160. A new one cost like $220 +shipping. It seems like smaller sets gets double, triple, or even quadriple the retail price. Larger sets don't get that cracy. Usually only double. I totally missed out on this set. It was such great value at retail with so many cool minifigures. I haven't built the sail barge yet but just by looking at the minifigures and the box, i know its an awesome set.

I think star wars sets have greatly improved in both accuracy and detail. They contain more "newer" lego pieces and are much better designed with better functions. But it is true that star wars sets are getting more expensive each year with the amount of pieces we get. Limited edition sets seems to be more of a "super overprice" set rather than a good value set. They just add a few new figures and raise the price dramatically. Ex. Ahsoka starfighter, Midi-scale falcon, pirate tank. And definatley not they won't get cheaper. You can be sure of that. Just take a look at jabba's sail barge VS the Clone Wars AT-TE. Same box size, around same amount of pieces... but guess what? Its $75 USD for sail barge and $90 for AT-TE. Another example is the venator.. Its smaller, has lesser pieces, yet its $20 more expensive than the Imperial Star Destroyer.

Thats an awesome set. I actually judge it by the cover this time... I shouldn't have backed out of the awesome offer when toysrus offered 40% off racers couple weeks ago. It was like only $12 here.
