First of all, thanks to the organizers; Hinkley, Ricecracker, Rick and Phred (I hope I didn't forget anyone) It was again really nice to participate in this contest if only because of all the nice comments. Dix

This is a very nice entry. You made some improvements to your entry which I think turned out very well. I like the colour scheme and the frontage. Good luck in the contest

I have them somewhere. However couldn't find them. The only one I've found emits a red light. When I add this light to my entry I think it will no longer be a resting place :). I really wanted to add a fireplace. If only because I could add a nice chimney. However not much space left inside, but the deadline is postponed so will have a another look at that. I think I will change the walls on the second floor so you can see the corridor. Did a rough piececount a couple of weeks ago. At that time I didn't exceed the number of bricks although entry wasn't completly finished. Will do a new piececount soon.

B-OV-16A & V-LV-42A Hi all, This is my entry for the second Winter VIllage Contest. It's a small establishment where travellers can seek lodging and have something to drink and eat. A lorry is delivering freshly cut trees to the christmas tree stall. I hope you like it. Last week I finished my Lego Harry Potter Winter break contest entry. So I had some time this week to change my tram station which some of you may recognize as my entry for the winter village contest. In my opinion it looks better compared to the original contest entry. It’s more symmetrical and the roof looks better in my opinion. Although it’s not finished at the moment. It is just a WIP. Furthermore i was building a small engine house. However, it's not finished either.

Hinckley, is it allowed to remove the background from my photos in photoshop? I'm asking because one of the rules states: -No Photoshop enhancements outside of sharpening, brightening, color correction or other image adjustment. No added text or effects.

I'm looking for a job right now. So, I've a lot of time to build . However I hope I will soon find a job and as a result I likely will not have so much time left to enter contests.

I actually didn't notice that it's a bit strange the roof is white from the inside . I will have a look at that. Thanks! (However , I indeed have to take into account the piece limit).

Here is my WINTER BREAK entry. I decided to build the Dervish & Banges shop located in Hogsmeade. Orignally, it had a dormer at the height of the second floor and the ground was paved with dark tan tiles and the first and second floor with brown tiles. However, I removed them because otherwise it would exceed the 1000 piece limit. It is now just below this limit. The pictures are still a bit dark. I'm sorry for that. It was very cloudy today. More pictures here: I hope you all like it. I used some elements of sekiyama’s tram design. Like the old white 180 degrees tilted windows, the front of the tram and the color scheme. However the roof and chassis of the tram are way different compared to sekiyama’s design. I hope he still likes it. Regarding the color scheme; maybe I should have chosen another color scheme (white/tan/sand green, which I had originally in mind) but the Lisbon tram color scheme (white/brown/yellow) is just the best. I hope it won't affect rules of contest
