  1. 10243 Parisian Restaurant Modular (when it's released... I pre-ordered it last night!).
  2. For some reason it's not automatically adding to my basket (UK), which is frustrating.

  4. Eeek, that would be awesome!
  5. 10656 My First Lego Princess, for parts.
  6. Tesco Home Plus in Southampton had several boxes today, stacked on top of each other.
  7. I bought a series 9 CMF; the skater. I just need the plumber now. Then when I got home I discovered my Small Cottage had arrived from Lego S@H. I was pleased it had arrived in time for the weekend.
  8. I want to have a go at a café corner type modular building in the Friends style. I have done very little in the way of building MOCs so it will be a challenge.
  9. I am doing the same and many are up and available on the LEGO web site. I want to buy the small cottage; it's cute!
  10. Oh I very much would like that set! I have the new ice cream cone piece from the Heartlake City Pool but that cart is cool!
  11. My local Tesco has started putting the Minifgures (along with all the other toys of that type) in a display box with a sign saying that if you want to buy any to go to customer services. I'm really annoyed. I'm presuming it's because they must be easy to pinch and maybe because they don't want people feeling through the packets, although the other day they had no problem with it. One of the Tesco guys even asked us to find the vampire bat for his son! So, has anyone else found this in Tesco? I think I'm just going to wait until October 1st and go to John Lewis to complete my collection. It's just really annoying. I am desperate for a fairy!
  12. Tesco in Southampton (West Quay) had four boxes on the shelves today. It was very exciting. I got: Pirate captain x2 Cheerleader x 1 Skier x1 Deep Sea Diver x 1 American Footballer x 1. I didn't do very well with my feeling/guessing technique; only managed two out of six. I am on the look out for a fairy and Santa.

  14. I went in May, all excited about my first visit to a pick a brick wall and was really disappointed. The bricks on the wall were basically 2x4 in the basic colours and that was it. They are sold by weight as opposed to filling a cup etc which just confused me. Like I said I was really disappointed and didn't buy any bricks. It does, however, give me an excuse to visit a LEGO store, but it requires considerable planning and a free day because unfortunately I live no where near one! I hope this helps.

  19. Big Pete - I love how you've displayed your collection. Mum found the Judo figure for me this morning so I now have a complete set which has left me ridiculously excited!
  20. John Lewis Southampton had a box out today. I thought I had managed to collect the set but upon opening the packets I picked up a swimmer I thought was the Judo guy, so now I have two swimmers. I don't know how I'm going to get the Judo figure, I'm thinking by process of elimination e.g. lack of accessories etc. I found the tips further up in this thread really useful for finding the boxer and horse rider. I'm slightly disappointed because I thought I had them all.
  21. I managed to pick six up from WHSmiths Southampton today. The box was behind the counter but I asked if I could have the box to feel for the specific figures and he was absolutely fine with it. Then as I was exploring the packets another lad came along and started doing the same. He was looking for the boxer. Before going to WHSmiths I went to John Lewis who didn't have any on display. When I asked if they were selling the figures yet the lady told me that LEGO had placed an embargo on them selling the figures before July 1st. This makes no sense as I'm sure I read on here somebody had bought some at John Lewis Liverpool. I find it frustrating. I have yet to open them and see what I got. I managed to feel for five (I think - I'm still fairly new to it!) and then got bored so picked a 'wild card.' My aim is to collect the whole set though.
  22. I really enjoyed reading this review, it brought back many happy memories so thank you. I had this set as a child. I saved up my pocket money for several weeks until I could afford to buy it, and it was an amazing sense of achievement when I got there. This was my favourite LEGO kit by a long stretch and I played with it endlessly. Sadly I have no idea what happened to it, really wish I still had it.
  23. 2) 4 points. 37) 3 points.
  24. I absolutely love this, and, like other people have said, would definitely buy it if it was part of the LEGO architecture range.
  25. I was going to enter the contest with a version of Stonehenge but didn't get around to it. I'm so glad somebody has! I really like your depiction of the monument.
