  1. Loot: 1x Mead - Atramor 1x Mead - Alf 1x Mead - Namyrra The dust cloud around the sea creature's eyes dissipated as it was defeated. "Having a bit of trouble wielding that fancy weapon there, Alf? Perhaps Ratibor was wrong in his decision put it in your care?" Nur stifled a laugh. "Keep an eye out you say, Captain? Good idea. Did anyone purchase that over-priced telescope by chance?"
  2. Nur chuckled at Alf's predicament. "Good work Alf! Keep that sea monster distracted. You hold it down and I'll hit it (Sea Monster) with an earth spell from the back row." Order of Actions: Alexis Fenral Namyrra Uq Atramor Gibbin Alexis Fenral En Sabah Nur Ellaria Arbour Alf Gregory
  3. En Sabah Nur grinned as the sea monster flailed about wildly and bumped into the railing. He prepared an earth spell from the back row and directed it at the Sea Monster. Order of Actions: Alexis Fenral Alexis Fenral Namyrra Uq Ellaria Arbour Atramor Gibbin Alf Gregory En Sabah Nur OoC: Oops, I forgot too. XD
  4. "Looks like you could use a hand there, Thimlin." The sea creature made its way onto the deck. "Hmm..." En Sabah Nur squinted his eyes and pursed his lips considering the elements available to the party. He quickly estimated the damage potential of his comrades before pulling a bit of parchment from his bag. "All right. Let's see if the lessons in scroll reading provided to me by the naga Sarick have taken hold. I shall use my Scroll of Blindness from the back row to cast the Blinded effect on the Sea Monster." Order of Actions: En Sabah Nur Alexis Fenral Namyrra Uq Ellaria Arbour Atramor Gibbin Alf Gregory The mage's temple pulsed from the headache provided courtesy of his Thorny Diadem but Nur's adrenaline was pumping too hard to notice any discomfort.
  5. "Hmm, perhaps. I hope the telescope is worth the investment, Ellaria. Namyrra, which elements are you capable of using for spell casting? I would like to get a sense of what you can do before we engage our target. I'm quite familiar with Alf's lack of ability and the rogue looks like he can take care of himself. It is ether users who often surprise me. I believe Alexis told me she is able to summon creatures of ice and lightning. Is that correct?"
  6. "Haha a seafarin' barbarian with hopes of becoming a battle mage? A strange one you are, Alf. I'm interested in what type of loot a sailor carries with them. Let us proceed to Miguel's shop. I have no coin either but that well dressed cleric there looks rather affluent."
  7. Nur rolls his eyes at the barbarian. "Aye, payment of 100 gold upon completion of mission sounds fine. Excuse me sir, I didn't catch your name. How shall we address you?"
  8. En Sabah Nur wondered why Alf felt the need to repeat what the seaman had just said only a moment ago. Nur was content to let the rogue haggle for the group's passage. He seemed capable and quite comfortable in his interaction with the gray-haired man. It would be interesting if Atramor could secure a reduced price even with Alf bumbling the deal. Nur's grin was halted by a slight pulse of pain from the thorny diadem.
  9. Nur turned to the rogue whose question went unanswered. "I guess we are truly on our own for seeking transportation. I am ready to head to the harbor."
  10. En Sabah Nur nodded. "Understood. Do you happen to know if they are traveling together, on the same vessel?"
  11. "If ye don't mind me asking, what have these men done to trouble you so?" The mage paused while gauging the man's reaction. He didn't really care how this family was offended, a job was a job. "How would you like them returned to you, still breathing?" OOC: Sorry about my stats, I should have an aquamarine gem (see final stats from my last quest). My apologies, in messing with my about me page and signature I accidentally removed the gem but it's still there! Everything else is correct.
  12. "Mmhm. Interesting. Might you have a small image of these beasts for viewing?"
  13. En Sabah Nur glanced quizically at the rogue, wondering how he knew the contents of his pouch. Rogues...could never be trusted. The mage nodded as the Bonaparte representative made his announcement then he followed the elf lost in thought. "You there, Alexis. I got your name from the Quest board announcement. I am En Sabah Nur. We shall be questing together soon. As an evoker, what manner of beasts can you bring forth?"
  14. En Sabah Nur smiled weakly at Alf's name. "I now know who to put first in the battle order. Perhaps he'll be KO'd..." The mage's smiled widened as he imagined the barbarian being swarmed by multiple enemies and knocked to the ground. The assailants began kicking Alf. As the camera panned up from him, Nur saw that each attacker had his face! He laughed before another headache set in. "Eesh. I hope this diadem doesn't affect my decision making..."
  15. Is Quest 8 going to finish this week?
  16. Yeah...and why are people apologizing for the way their characters act/react/respond? We all understand that you as a person aren't your Heroica character. *rabble*rabble*rabble*
  17. Nice gator, Rumble. I like how the specials have a 50/50 chance of occuring instead of in order they're listed. The heroes won't know which special is queued up next!
  18. Cool effect, Etzel.
  19. En Sabah Nur browsed the shops of the marketplace as he reached Gnomeo's shed. "I would like to sell this fine magnifying glass for 15 gold please." His busniess with the gnome concluded, Nur proceeded to Portia's Potion shack. "Dear Portia, I'd like to sell 1 tonic for 7 gold and make a purchase of 1 vial of smelling salts (leaving him with 2 gold)." En Sabah Nur knew if things got too tough in battle he might have to take a moment to switch headgear.
  20. Having grown out his hair some to combat the winter cold, En Sabah Nur removed his bandana. The mage gritted his teeth in anticipation of the pain to come. He put on the thorny diadem the crown sent what could only be described as miniature lightning bolts of pain shooting throughout his body. Although feeling physically weakened, Nur knew his command over etheral spells had increased. "Now then, let's see if we can try this thing out." En Sabah Nur signed his name to Quest #18: The Storm.
  21. In my quest a hastened player attacking twice in a row got hit twice in a row by free hits. There's no official rule so do what you want until there is one.
  22. Yes they should take two hits in the battle order. It's like having an extra party member. Not fair to the NPCs. Party leader should split up player's attacks to prevent hastened player from getting hit twice in a row. Battle Order Player A *Hastened* Player B Player C Player A *Hastened* Player D etc
  23. Yes. S'y there was no picture to begin with so you can make it up yourself. Good job.
  24. I hope Boomingham gets out of the desert sometime soon. Trying to quest with him.

  25. OoC: The way the children came out is merely a coincidence. Nur yawned and ate his meal. He wondered if his training in the element he was weakest using had paid off. Only one way to find out and that was through taking part in a quest. The mage sighed. "Ugh, do I have to go on another quest? I'm enjoying my relaxation time."
