How did we get such early pictures of the summer wave of sets? Anyway, if you scroll to the right and left on birdmart33's album then you can see the entire wave of summer 2011 sets.

Good find Mesonak,and thanks Bfahome for posting direct links to the images. These new pictures make the sets looked much better than previously, particularly the Fire Lord. But I'm still disappointed in how he used Furno's blade from last year as his primary weapon.

That's quite cool. Some of your mocs are rather inventive. I always play with my Bionicle like that, but I can never moc as I have a fear that my pieces will go missing afterward, and I will not be able to build my sets again.

Nynrah ghostblaster and the thornax launcher. Never really liked any other launcher. Mainly because they were the only launchers that were easy to play with.

Great banner! Takanuva is one of my favorite toa. Maybe you should try to add the his star form (2010 Takanuva set) into it.

They are not in 2008 forms cause their not karda Nui's environment anymore, but I'm not too sure if they reverted back to their 2002 forms. Biosector stated, "When in its default configuration, the armor reverts to a state similar to the ordinary armor of its respective Toa. " and "It is designed to shapeshift to fit the environment and situation that the wearer enters." My guess is they are in their 2002 forms, seeing as the new Spherus Magna has no extreme weather, the toa nuva will revert back to their 2002 forms because they do not need to adapt to the environment. Although, they still have the powers of the adaptive armor.

Wow. I always kind of imagined that the drop ship had some kind of way to carry the heroes and drop them off, but I thought that this would not actually happen, as it was just a name used for storyline purposes. Though this is great. The ship is able to carry the canisters and deliver them. It brings back a lot of memories of 2001 of Bionicle as the Toa Mata were transported from the cordex to the shores of Mata Nui by their canisters.

Actually Erebus, I think you should not feel bad at all, as your request was a good idea. Phantoka Kopaka Nuva, who just informed me that some people don't have access to the GN, can now see what he battera and EL look like. I can buy graphic novels and I plan to get them even after seeing the battera. But I chose not to look at the EL to keep myself interested in buying it. Technically, it would be better to see scans and not use money to purchase them, but really, its completely different to have it actually in your own hands and to see all the great artwork by Stuart Sayger and Christian Zanier. My opinion does not mean much, however, for me I remember being interested since 2001 and it is one of my biggest hobbies, if I can, why not keep it alive as long as possible?

Sorry about my earlier statement, I did not realize this. What I meant to say is anyone who has money to spare and is able to buy them, should, because if they are Bionicle fans, the graphic novels will be something they would probably enjoy. People like yourself, would definitely be accepted not to buy them as you simply cannot get it, meaning its not your fault at all.

I think people should at least buy GN 8, because if you are depending on the internet for scans of Elemetal Lords and the Battera, you will have to wait longer for them and this will not help the chances of GN 10 coming out. Furthermore, it includes nothing but new stories, so I think its worth it when you can carry on reading about new (or expanded) Bionicle stories even as the line is finished. Just an opinion though, I could be wrong as they are quite expensive.

I wan already going to buy GN8, but seeing this picture of the Battera just made me want it much more now. In fact, its even encouraged me to start buying graphic novels if I had the money.

I believe its just a technical difficulty and hopefully, it will work by tomorrow. It looks interesting and I think its nothing to do with 2010's plot, but a recap of all Bionicle years just like the 4-Minute Retrospective video we had in 2008. Just a guess.

I agree. While i am not extremely pleased that Bionicle is ending, the new theme's name and it's characters names, this has an equal chance of being horrible and excellent. 1. If this fails, Bionicle can still be brought back. 2. We have had it for about a decade now (one of the longest going themes.) 3. Bionicle will still have a storyline up to 2011 that we can enjoy (even as its not much profit for TLC.) 4. This is aimed more at an 7-8 year old and new customers (Bionicle is harder to gain new fans as if you did not start it from around the beginning , its really hard to understand what is going on. I mean, take for example, at the start of The Legend Reborn, it practically tells you nothing about whats been going on. A new fan buys TLR and watches it. The first thing that he will probably seem is teridax in mata nui's robot and think "who and what is that giant robot?." 5. Many people have been complaining that Bionicle is now very repetitive with designs. 6. I am guessing its not as successful as when it started. 7. Many of us started Bionicle when we were younger and we (the dedicated fans) are part of the reason its been so successful. So this line has to been aimed at new younger customers, rather than us as firstly, some of us will start to stop buying Bionicles as we grow up, and this new theme will also need its long term fans. 8. Bionicle did not have a interesting story at the start. Surprising, thinking back on it, but it goes like this: Villagers enslaved by one evil ruler, six heroes come to save the day, find golden masks and succeed. Bionicle now: Universe is actually a robot, mysterious great beings, Bota magna has not been explored, glatorian has been introduced, two giant robots fighting for the fate of the world, golden armor, over 100 characters and the list goes on. Showing us that this new theme could start off boring, but could change to something more interesting. I'm just saying like ultimate antrozek said, criticize as much as you want, but after you have seen clear pictures and reviews of the sets, and gone in at least a quarter of 2010 so we have an idea of what the story is.

This seems very interesting. Tahu- Brilliant, just like the original, but improved and with a gold hau. Takanuva- As takanuva, not very successful (does not look like a toa of light), but as a bionicle set, done nicely. Skrall- Not bad, but not enough new pieces for me to get it and that it is way too similar to the skrall last year. (Though I love the black kopaka sword.) Gresh- As gresh, not so great, but as a bionicle, quite good. Just has a bit of a weird colour scheme (why silver blades?) Overall, I like he idea and hope its non cannon and it is a 10th anniversary. However, I still feel that skrall and gresh are a little out of place. Mainly being that, 1. they were released as sets last year. 2. not really "Stars" as they have only been here for a year (unlike tahu, the first toa of fire we knew and takanuva, the first and only toa of light and first set with gold pieces.) 3. only different with skrall is that he lost his shield and thornax, changes colour from red to green and got a new sword. 4. gresh has the same weapons with no thornax and same mask. Does anyone feel this way too?

Your right, it does look like a vorox and tajun glatorian, but it does not really make sense how a vorox is with the group.
