this was the last castle set i got before my dark age.. really liked it although the big rock parts looked really bad ( i am kind of used to them now) unfortunately i lost the little wand.. and i never understood who is "good" and who is "bad" does the wizard own the dragon? well they dont seem to be enemies but isnt the dragon supposed to be evil??

great work! i really like them! especially the small truck!
-
you just reminded me of a fine toy i used to have as a child! i used to love this! great idea!
-
This looks SO good! lego should have made this plane for the city line! i love it! a big brick build plane minifig size! a dream come true! cant wait for more pictures! i never wanted indy sets but i might get this one!
-
no i cant call these crap! i think they are very nice!! maybe they dont have great details but when you see an image you can recognize the original image and that is the key of the whole thing
-
why does one person have all these? what do you do with 7 of these? ok maybe you keep one closed and build one...what do you do with 7? this is just too much... (and my friends think I have a problem)
-
that looks huge!! its amazing!
-
i love how your city is so clean! mine is so dusty!! how do you keep it all so shiny? i really like the old style feeling! 4-wide cars and old road plates! i really like all the details!! a job well done!

100% Cypriot!! ( you know...the small island in the east corner of the mediterranean)

thanx for a great review! i love the solid design in this set. nothing looks fragile thow there are a lot of small pieces. lots and lots of smart techniques! i hope someday to be able and afford this set along with star justice. this line is the first space line i consider in years (since i am mostly into city) i also would like to see more of the preliminary design for both these sets.
-
i really love what you have done here! i saw the images last night on brickshelf and saved a coupled on my pc! great work! interesting design and i also have this set and really like it!
-
great review as always! cant wait for the skull one! there is some great design there! the set looks great! the interceptor is my favorite! what i dont like about the minifigs is not so much the stickers as is their color. i would rather see them in blue or light blue or maybe blue and white. the grey isnt all that much i waited more from a base and this is the only part i dont like from the whole set. i would rather see smth simple like classic space and since they couldnt use a lot of different parts (like the big "glass" pieces from the late 80s) the classic base from the late 70s would work great. and although the base has an open back like the classics had the rock piece really destroys it! couldnt it have been simpler and bigger? all and all i really love this set and i wish i could get one someday! great work to the designers and lets hope lego comes up with more sets like this one!

If you had the possibility to choose a new City minifig character
phoinix replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in LEGO Town
i would have loved to see the female minifig with the baby in the new green grocer set to be sold as an impulse set! it would have sold like crazy! i would like to see more hair-styles for females. and the minifig i would like to see is a grandmother! or someone older! no one seems to age in legoland! (a dream land come true?) and since lego gave us children with the shorter legs i want to see older people -
great work! i could never make such great cars! this is the kind of car that should come with the creator house!
-
i love the silly salt n pepper!!! and i have some magnets.. its an easy way to get minifigs without getting the whole set!
-
well in the annual lego report it says that the new fire station sold more than half a million copies.. so some sets come in large numbers!!
-
i love this! its so colorful!! maybe you could ask them to join the parade
-
discussion about the new space sets is really good over here http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=16202 perhaps an admin can merge the 2 in order to avoid double topics on the same thing. i personally keep going from one topic to another to check new replies and comments.
-
thnx for the reply it would also be cool if there was an alternate model you could build using all the pieces does lego have a future plan of expanding this space line? have you been asked to create more models? i think this opens the way for more ldd exclusives i think we will see a castle set soon.. (i hope)
-
i want to thank you both for your creations. lego should release these sets in the market instead of mars mission that would have been great and you could both get the pieces you want and the freedom to build better (without sticker torsos) unfortunately shop@home isnt available here so i cant get these sets. (maybe i can get a friend of mine from the UK to get me the sets) i also wonder about the price..if you know how much it would be in europe..
-
that seems way to much!!! *wacko* i am sure that the piece/price count is correct but if it was a big model like market street then 100 would be ok but now that you see all these smaller models then it seems too much this would be a very good line if lego released them all one in each set.. then you could get the ones you really like and spend less money! its like getting a whole line with one box but then again i dont have this kind of money lately and green grocer is my priority the sets are really good..especially the star justice they would look great next to my classic space sets... i think lego has overdone it this time we used to pray for stuff like this but now there are about 10 great big sets out there and i cant afford it! :'-(
-
who has this kind of money? and why spend it all for lego? he seems to be out of control! no wonder AFOLS are 20% of lego sales
-
do they cost 100 both or 100 each?? does anyone know the euro price?
-
do we know how much these cost?
-
i really like the star justice set!! the only thing its missing its one of those classic space baseplates!! you can download the full instructions from lego.com
