this line is my favorite the past 2 years (besides city) i would hate to see it finish. but the fact that we have no news yet sounds like but news to me.. lego is doing all these license sets and they are forgetting about their own lines. i dont want prince of persia or indiana jones or toy story or ben 10 i just want the castle line to continue!! lets just wait (wish) and see.

just 61 euro??? thats an amazing price for this set in a box and great condition! i love this one i think its GREAT!

these sound great! we havent seen pictures of the plane yet and i cant wait! what color is it? how big would you say it is? is the roof top of the plane the same as the <insert that tiresome argument> one? do you remember what minifigs it has? would you say that it looks like the indiana jones one but a bit more modern? (i truly have a lot of questions about this set!!) did you see the impulse set with the pig? how was that?

then why do we have agents? isnt that human vs human?

this theme actually looks a lot more decent than pawer miners ever did. the only set i dont like up to now is the ruins one. it just looks kinda empty and simple to me.. i really like the red subs!

an impulse set with a pig?? !!!!! WOW so this is how im gonna get my pigs cheaper than that farm set! so this impulse set is the only thing i am waitting for from the whole line so far... im hoping lego is up to smth better for the second half of 2010..

in my opinion this is the best city airport ever! it has a runway a good interior nice little vehicles lots of minifigers and it isnt just 6 huge glass pieces stack on topo of each other. it has a unique design and architecture. and lego has proven to us that they CAN make a great plane that it isnt <insert that tiresome argument> with brick built front tail and wings a great landing system and with good detail.. the new airport with the "new" plane are far too <insert that tiresome argument>. i mean the basic pieces of that plane are how many? 8? and the airport, like the last one has no runway. the city corner set was a great example of what TLG can do for city i dont know what went wrong but it aint pretty! also this rescue helicopter from 2006 is far more detailed and not <insert that tiresome argument> compared to the fire helicopter..

i agree 100% and since i didnt get any other farm set i think im gonna get this one!! (and put the piglets in the market village)

i guess im the only one who hates what he sees.. its just that the past 3 years were very good compared to this and i think lego found a formula and its just sticking to it with no new ideas like farm last year was a great idea and so was the last police station... the airport looks SO palymobil to me.

same old same old!! couldnt they come up with a better idea for an airport? it looks exactly like the last one! and this one is much more <insert that tiresome argument> i am sooo dissapointed at lego city this year.. a huge step back for lego if you ask me. and that fire plane thing? whats that all about? horrible front piece.. and the octan set..the front is nice but the back is just what? 6 pieces? is this duplo?? come on lego you can do better than this.. did someone quit there job on the design team so they had to copy every passed set?? i am still keeping my fingers crossed for the second half of this year but if it looks anything like this i would have saved enough money to finally get green grocer! (still hoping castle isnt as bad as city is this year) :thumbdown:

i love the set with the pigs but i think its gonna be a bit expensive seeing how big it is... i was hoping for something smaller so that i can get the pigs as cheap as possible.. oh well i dont mind having a tractor.. and the pigs would look great with the market village!!

the last fire station was great. this one not so much it seems like a step back for lego city. there is a good reason lego makes these sets. the fire stations are the best selling lego set (i read that somewhere) the boat looks exactly the same to me.. hope that the second wave of 2010 there will be some civilian sets. i think lego city reached a new high in 2008-2009 and now its going back down again.. lets hope for the best...

well i dont hate it as much as power miners.. the design seems a lot better and so do the minifigs. although it seems to use a lot of huge (<insert that tiresome argument>) pieces on those subs.. i have mixed fillings about this, lego seems to be doing the same idea over and over again..nothing new on the perspective power miners have the same idea and so did exo force and so did mars mission and the same idea in space police. monsters/aliens/robots vs human big machines huge pieces i hope the castle line is good this year cause i can find nothing i really love up to now..

i have to get the pirate ship before it disappears!! i was really hoping for a lot more pirates! the minifigs are amazing and so are the details in the sets. why make all those molds for one wave? the little plastic island the new cannon the new palm tree. remaking the soldiers hats and all.. this is so sad...pirates for only one year? its like lego threw us a bone and then left us with it..

that sounds like wishful thinking to me. i would hope so but i dont think we will see any more.. and i really dont get it. why make all these new molds for just one year? it makes no scense at all!

this reminds me of when we first saw pics of the power miners and hated them.. then most of you loved it (i didnt) every year lego makes a theme like this..and i never buy a single set.. but thats ok.. its time to save some money anyway.
