  1. you can see all that in that picture? i have to check my eyes! i wonder why this set wasnt in the pics we got today i imagine its the most anticipated due to the new rail road trucks.. oh and dont you think the fez piece will someday create a great jedi with a long head?
  2. im not posting my opinion just for you. if you are tired then dont read i dont like your behavior here and i dont get why i HAVE to find smth good to say just to please you you have your opinion and i have man this isnt the world war 3 its LEGO chill out
  3. lego used to have about 10 molds and you could build anything you wanted with them and that was what made lego unique. that is why their slogan is "just imagine" ok then there were 100 molds or even more but if lego makes 1000 molds they take that imagination away and lately i think they have "over" done it because a brick can be anything you want it to be but a specialised piece cant be all that many things that is the best way i can explain this to you
  4. ok if this was any other toy i think i would like it but its LEGO and to be honest im not used to all this its just way too much information' and i dont know if you get me but "we are not in Kansas any more" a whole bunch of big "<insert that tiresome argument>" pieces a whole bunch of new pieces. i dont know i will have to think about this one but my first impression is that i dont think i like the direction the company is going dont take me wrong i am sure the kids will love this and the sets will sell very well maybe im getting too old for this...
  5. too generous.. im getting confused is this even lego nowadays? its getting hard to follow sometimes its just too realistic for my liking and yes i do love the new hair but how can one be able to collect them? i cant afford these sets just for some hair!
  6. we may as well add these indy prelims and final products
  7. i was thinking the same thing! i bet the set is really nicer than what we see in this prelim pic. i really like the design of the bridge even though a blue base would be much apretiated and we dont see bases any more in play sets. and i would also rather they made a little tower with the queen in the top room rather than this bridge isnt a bridge supposed to be infront of a castle? the king chariot set i think is nice. we havent seen anything like that for a while now what i dont like is why we only get 3 sets? or are there going to be more? are they running out of ideas for this line? cause that would be bad..
  8. this looks great. no huge <insert that tiresome argument> parts and a sturdy build! and of course this is the first time TLC has given us something like this! i am probably not going to get this set as i am running out on space here and i decided to only get the sets i am crazy about.. thanx for the review but why is this a limited edition?
  9. this is so cool!! i should get a set to get the RC stuff!! there is one in the 4958 dino set as far as i know. and in what other set is there?
  10. thank you all for your replies unfortunatly there are stores only in 3 countries and the lego shop @ home dosent provide for Greece. i was hoping to get an exclusive set from this trip but it seems that there is no way.. maybe i should start searching in ebay.
  11. Well the topic title says it all.. Do you know if there is a lego shop in Maastricht-Netherlands? or at least a shop were lego exclusives can be found. thanx
  12. well this looks like a good time to revive this topic since Mark Stafford (lego designer) showed some of his preliminary designs in his interview over at brothers-brick 8961 Crystal Sweeper Prototype Exo-Force 8115 dark panther in different colors, they were trying out which is best and they decided to go with purple
  13. its too soon for these sets to turn up on this page.. just wait a week or two
  14. if children like violence and colflict in teir games so much then how do you explain the great succes with playmobil in europe? playmobil came up with themes like the circus the zoo city life and even their castle and pirate sets arent so violent as lego is these days. i think that the us market really calls the shots in this. its the biggest market for lego right now and children over there want things differently than the european children as Hinckley said lego had to modify the dino attack line for the us by making it more violent giving the humans guns that they didnt have in europe. as the matter of fact the line was called dino 2010 in europe and the "attack" was left out! the themes with good guys bad guys and a few guns are getting more and more in lego. i remember the days that lego had a non-violence rule! now that seems like such a joke! so to get back on theme im kind of dissapointed to see the same story line but this time in space. if you dont mind i will go and play with my creator sets in the corner!!
  15. if we are talking exclusives then the best is Green Grocer otherwise i really loved this one i think it made the whole mars mission worth while. the worst has to be the agents! maybe not the big truck.. but i really hated this one
  16. the reason i dont like agents is because its mostly vehicles most of the time too big for a minifig and the plot dosent interest me at all. Most of the sets look empty to me and they are mostly play-sets rather than sets that make you want to make a moc and create new worlds rather than just play out the story lego is telling. Lately lego seems to create a story in which the characters interact. Lego never did this in the past. Sure there were good guys and bad guys but the story-line wasnt already set up for you. and even in the older times castle for example never had good and bad guys. you had to choose for yourself and make your own senario. Mars mission, Agents, power miners exo force and now what it seems the new space police all have a similar story. There is a treauser or some valuable gems. some have it some need it some steal it its the same story over and over again! the mars mission jellies, the power miners rock monsters the evil weird minifigs in agents the robots in exo force and now some weird aliens.. why cant lego make a decent space ships and go explore space! does there always have to be battle an violence and the goal is always some treauser? im sorry but the story lines are getting boring for me. im sure the kids will love all the themes i dont and im happy about it. the best lego space police that was ever made is this one unfortunatly i dont have these sets but i hope some day to get my hands on them. cause at the end for me its not about the story or the cool characters and pieces but its all about the design.
  17. ok so i might be the only one that dosent like what he sees. come on people its just a hot-rod with no wheels! the emperor has no clothes! i guess lego took the space police theme literally this time.. he is speeding in space? maybe he should get a ticket! as far as the police ship goes it seems to have some huge pieces.. i dont know.. i think im getting too old for these stuff. i hated the agents and the power-miners stuff and now this? i dont think i can take any more.. thank god for city this year lego is doing wonders over there! ok the bad-guy minifig looks cool i will give ya that! hope to see some better sets with better SPACE-ships and not just cars in the air! hey this could be used in a "Back to the future" moc Why didnt they just call it Futuristic-police?

    City '09?

im starting to really hate the use of orange and lime green by TLC.. also another big truck? whats the point? well at least it has doors!
  19. ok count me in! thanx!
  20. i believe kids are gonna love these sets. they have high playability (remember that the sets combine to build different models) and the colors are pretty catchy for the kids eyes. most Afols wont like these as they have huge <insert that tiresome argument> pieces and weird colors. this theme is a great idea but lego cant get it right. first they make those terrible rock raiders back in the 90s with dull grey and brown colors and now they turn it into a circus.. is there no middle way? personally im very happy lego made this theme... one less thing to buy in a very expensive year!!
  21. their mouths do open as i said in an older post and as you can see in the pictures. if i remember correctly their are a couple of different monster molds or colors
  22. i voted for above avarage because although i love the brown and the red car i think the yellow one looks weird and also the garage is kind of boring actually i would rather have a set with 5 of them cars and no garage...
  23. hey i will give u a home!!
  24. you can find the instructions here http://www.hccamsterdam.nl/brickfactory/setlist/index.htm
  25. i go there very often as i get most of my sets from there. plus he always makes me a little discount.. it wasnt a lego store or a toys r us as there are none of these in Greece
