these little sets are really nice! they cought my eye the minute i saw them! it would have been SO great if there was a post office to go with them! there are so few buildings in lego city the design is very classic and i am ofcourse considering to get them but it seems that i have a lot of small cars and planes on my desk! :-$ recently i took a flight with Cyprus Airways from Thessaloniki to Cyprus and the two promo plane sets were there! I was so tired though that i couldnt stay awake to buy them! im taking a flight again on Tuesday and i hope they are not out of stock!! thanks for a great review Yoda! a fine job as always! cant wait for your next one

and lets not forget the great minifigs in the new hogwarts castle that pink lady fig was amazing and with a new hair piece! so i think the ladies win this year! princess and pink lady! both with new hair new faces new torsos new colors!

well maybe we could make a new topic with the new pictures.. its too confusing that they are in a topic that says "chatting about the rumored sets" a new topic would be great! also someone could post all these preliminary pictures in the "preliminary design" theme! i would have done it but i dont have a dsl connection these days..and my internet is really slow!

i think we should make a bigger poll this is a great idea but a lot of the new minifigs are missing where is the princess? and the evil wizard? i think they are the best for 2007! and isnt indy supposed to be 2008?? this is confusing! a bigger poll with the best minifig of each theme would be nice castle has A LOT new figs and they are the best for this year! and i hate the giant troll more than i hate the aliens!!

according to brickset we are still waitting for a Stegosaurus set (which i couldnt care less about) do we know about anymore creator sets for this wave? arent we getting a building this time? enough with houses give us a tower or a city hall (although you can never have enough houses!!) oh and lego is really going back to the basics with special parts sets 6119-roof tiles 6118-wheels 6117-doors and windows these should be great!!

i was hoping for a better set of penguin that one huge piece really is not good the small submarine the penguin had with the batcave was better but im not gonna buy that big set just for that! the first wave of batman was amazing the next two sets were ok but i didnt care much about them and now it looks too colorfull i liked it better when it was darker and mysterious god that huge piece on the front looks terrible! (i know i already said it but i cant get over it) lets wait and see.. oh and dosent the ice cream truck a mr'freeze thing? what is joker doing with it? but i guess we should see the movie and find out

im hoping the other batman sets are better than this one it looks ok just a bit bulky on the other hand i really like the box art. sure the old one was fine and why change it? but this is for the new movie so lego may not have such a strong word on these the film company makes these decisions i guess.. the ice cream truck looks ok cant wait to see the rest of the pics! oh and dont forget that the bat-tank preliminary picture was a lot different than the final product

it seems that you can build a very nice plane with 4997 its so nice to see a brick build plane after those super junior city planes! and again i am so happy about the size of the ship and plane!

boat and lighthouse both seem pretty good, i do like them but if you compare this with the creator ship then creator is the winner! (is this a boat year for lego?) i wonder how this ship would look in the city harbor.. and it is about time we got a lighthouse. so this is a very nice set compared to the other coast guard over sized stuff agents looks like one of the worse lego themes of all times it is SO BAD :-X :-X melt them and make smth pretty! ;-)

creator is by far the best line for 2008 i didnt like the first creator sets for 2008 winter but summer seems to be amazing! that ship looks great! and it could even be minifig size!! the car is great and i hope they keep it white dont we get a new house this summer???

it would have been great if they could really clean my city right now it is filled with dust! :-P

the new set looks as big as a creator truck but this time with mf its just too odd and weird! they stole the jeep from a giant and now he is after them! (maybe thats why they are making agents sets..to find the giant before he finds them) 6 wide was one think but 8 wide is too much.. what is it with lego and size these days? and its not brick build but again we get a big boat piece..

emmm.. no. that was the logo of the dino theme back then (and i hope we dont see that theme again)

im i the only one who hates the coast guard sets? i find the orange a terrible color for the sets and it screams jack stone to me!! a big step back for the city line this year.

castle is ofcourse the best new line for 2007. mars mission wasnt so good and nobody liked it that much aqua r isnt even a theme..it wasnt distributed in all countries (never made it here) and they will not qontinue it i guess town-city is the best theme this year! we finally got many things we wanted and if you add cafe corner to the theme then there is no competition! creator was also great i got most of these sets and if there is a future with me and this hobby (mania) then its with creator! star wars has seen better years but the new falcon is just the best ever the other lines didnt go so good.. i mean sponge bob is just a waste of money for me and batman wasnt as good as the first year i hope we get better designed batman sets this year merry christmas to all

i found this foto review of 7647 on brickshelf either this set is really nice or the MM sets have grown on me! the alien fighter have we seen green flames before? a bit blury but shows that the cockpit opens up building the fighter is that cockpit piece one piece? have we seen this in another MM set? i wouldnt know as i dont own any how the heck is that space-guy supposed to see anything laying back like that? the vehicle turns into a fighter a nice looking one (imo) so this is kind of nice and with just 235 pieces it shouldnt cost much thanks to the brickshelf member who took the time to do this the whole gallery can be found here http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=289897

oh come on! you are going on how you dont get the sets soon enough and Greece dosent even have S@H!! and as far as the 08 line goes it would be good if we see anything in march! so Canada is in a good state when it comes to this.. there are many countries that dont even get all the lines or all the sets.. (like Greece and Cyprus) we are small countries and have a smaller profit for the company but we should all be treated equal

another great play set from lego great for any kid who likes indiana jones... although i wonder..what child in the age of 8 konws about the first indiana jones movie?? i think this is a terrible marketing decision i understand why they made sets for the first star wars movies there is a whole cult around these movies and they have been re-released and re-introduced many many times. but i dont think indiana jones is that classic... anyhow as far as the set goes it is really good to play but since a dont "play" with my lego im not really into such set... at least lego did good work with the indy line.. it shows as that they can do better for other lines as well..

its so weird that this ork is a different color than the one in the mining set... was this ment to happen or is it another lego mistake? and i dont really get why there arent any dwarfs insted of knights in these sets.. dwarfs minifigs are great and you have to get the big mining set to get them or to get that new small terrible catapult with only one dwarf.. i really dont get this.. also i think lego should qontinue the second castle year with more skeletons.. there are so many ideas and great sets to be made.. and i think they harried into a new concept.. is lego done with the skeletons and their horses? as far as this set goes im deffinetly not getting this i think its great for kids but not for me.. anyhow..last year was better for castle..a lot more classic than this year.
