this looks SO SO SO SO SO much nicer than i thought!! i love the small truck i love the office and the crane! i really like the "tower" of the ship! one of the best they ever made! the only thing i dont like is the size of the ship.. i find it useless since you can only fill it with cargo and more cargo.. what is the point of that? there is the front of the ship...there is the back of the ship...there is the boring huge empty hull in the middle! i find that pointless! the possitive is more than the negative! i realy like the captain figure and the green fisherman! TLC has given us great stuff this year.. this ship remains my lego cargo favorite.. it looks nice in the front..good tower..and a great middle section..not too big not too small..just great! ( i hope i will buy this some day!) a lot of thanks to you yoda! you have given us so many great reviews the past few days!! and this was great!! *y* *y* well done my friend!!

i guess this is big for hard core SW fans.. but for me this is a bit boring.. dont take me wrong i love SW but i personaly wouldnt buy a ship that appears so little in the film.. also i only got a few SW sets and they are mostly from classic star wars.. good review as always yoda! cant wait for a new city review from you

no one is having a baby hinckley! there are so few women in the lego city! its mostly just gay male couples.. and they adopt.. that is why no one is in a harry.. and that is why the streets arent getting bigger! (that and the fact that i would kill them if they changed the roads...AGAIN)

that looks lovely alex!! *y* *y* *y* well done! you have a great way of making every new extra-scale set down to "normal" lego scale!! *sweet* the only think that could use some down-sizing is the top of the roof with the parrots.. it could be a bit smaller.. other than that it looks very good! cant wait to see this in your city layout! ;-) along with all the tricks this set has taught you about house building!! i really like that blue house!its so cute and it would fit very nicely in a normal lego city along with classic lego town!! :-) edit:about the post of 007 this is a very cool find!! and this guy has created a new blog on the new creations for the corner cafe! http://bricktowntalk.blogspot.com/

i have to agree with you Wout.. The ex-Yougoslavic countries vote for each other The ex-USSR countries do the same The scandinavic countries support each other the medideranian countries like Malta Greece and Cyprus support each other.. but i think that with a good enough song all these cane be over-run When Greece won in 2005 they couldnt have done it if they didnt get votes from all the countries.. the medireranian block isnt strong enough to make them win.. Same goes for Finland last year!they got votes from countries that never used to vote for finland.. it might take some help from friendly countries to be in the top ten but to win this thing you have to get votes from everyone.. I voted for the Netherlands last year and i dont live close to you ;-) and here is a "funny" bit from the Netherland presentor of the votes.. and what he said to the presentor Sakis Rouvas during last years contest in Athens http://youtube.com/watch?v=6fZNh9OJHGA kind of funny but not very polite... :-/

doctor who, who? 8-| no i really dont know this show... anyways this is an once a year event.. ;-) most of "the big 4" countries (germany UK france spain) dont really pay much attention to this contest anymore..so they usually send songs like the schooch one which-sorry-but i find redicilus! the big 4 are always in the final while the other countries have to give a fight at the semifinal or be in the top 10 of last years results.. |-/

well these are some great pics!! thow the gas station dosent look as good as i thought it would..its kind of empty..and it looks flimpsy.. (im still gonna try and buy it) the port looks good.. thow i still dontlike how the ship is one huge piece but i guess this is the only way to make it float.. im probaply not going to get this..it looks ecxpensive and i wont have room for it in my city.. i prefer this old boat i think the size is a lot better! everything seems so huge nowadays in the lego city...

amazing review!! love everything about it ecxept the castle!! :-D its too bulky and there are too many large pieces! :-X it looks good as a play set but its an awuful model.. really empty from the outsite but it looks great on the inside! so many cute details and parts overall lovely playset but terrible design.. should work great for kids but not for me lovely minifigs and accesories and its a shame that this is the only HP set for this year i used to get a few smaller HP sets for the cool parts but this should be too ecxpensive! also great colors...but still when i look at it on the outsite i think empty empty empty empty!!! |-/

in my opinion lego has over done it in terms of color it used to be just black-white-yellow-red and blue then came green baseplates and grey which was great and ofcourse brown for speares and pirate guns and the boats.. but now come on! there is too much its even hard to find a brick of the same color shade let along enough of the same color to build something! whats with all the pinks and purples? why so many blues? and green-blue? and purple-blue? and why oh why make orange? the only color i was happy to see was tan..and green bricks other than that its getting out of control! its lego for gods sake not a paint catalogue.. i cant keep up with this! im a bit old-fashioned i guess...(or just old)
