Dang somebody's got a lot of grievences . Look to be honest I really loved the movie. First off it was extremely artistic. Every little tiny piece of the planet looked alien and all the little tiny details, like at night all the plants you touched glowed. The alien creatures and the na'vi all looked really great and actually looked like they could've evolved like that on the planet. They also looked very beautiful with different bright colors and textures and did'nt look like you're cheap monster of the week. The Na'vi I thought were excellent and very cat like, which on a planet like Pandora only makes sense. I understand what you're saying and to be honest the story was not the movie's strongest point. The story has been done before although never in this way which was extremely clever The characters are'nt too archetypical, well maybe the colonel and the company owner. I know what you're saying and partly agree with you about that also. I think part of the reason that the na'vi were so spiritual was partly, if you did'nt hear the dialogue, because what Sigourney Weaver's character was saying. It was that she theorized that there was some hidden telepathic bond between the animals, Na'vi and the trees. It seemed to me that the trees themselves were somewhat sentient and that they were connected to the forest in a sort've bond with what they thought was their god. With the characters and story however, James Cameron probably wrote most of the lines and characters. From what I heard from interviews is that this movie was his "baby" and that he had been thinking about doing this movie most of his life, doodling cat people as a kid. Yet I say again they were'nt too bad. The humans on the other hand did'nt seem all evil, it's like what Jake said at the begining was that these soldiers were more like gun jockeys or even mercenaries. The scientists did'nt seem evil in fact quite the opposite. The guy representing the company was pretty bad We really only saw the marines and scientists. The word and name Unobtainium is actually an engineering term basicly meaning a substance that is rare or hard to obtain. It's actuallly an engineering joke that can be applied to anything rare, but I really don't understand the joke. I really loved the movie and I think with a movie like this you either love it or you hate it. When I first saw this movie it gave me a feeling of being transported to another world, into another person. The urge to see more and really care about what happens to these people. Some people are going to love this film, some are going to hate it. I know when I saw it, I actually went with my dad, and we were both big skeptics. We thought the story was going to be megablocks and that the special effects were going to be great but would'nt make up for a bad plot. I knew right after the movie ended that I loved it. I just got this feeling from it that i've only gotten from a few films. The film was incredible and if you have the chance to see it, go! It's a little long almost three hours but it's worth it. It's very entertaining and if you get a chance to see it in 3D, do it because it really makes you feel like you're apart of the film.

Well I think instead of doing the plotline they did in the movie that they should have done the malevolance story instead. It would have been more epic and they could have put a lot more into the malevolance story. Personally for me that story in the series was wasted, simply because it was so short. I mean how malevolant is itt really we only see it destroy three venators and several y-wings. This ship is supposed to have been terrorizing the Republic fleets and then it was destroyed like that before us the audience knew what happened.

I really like the Sp cruiser and the limo sets but i'm not to sure about the base. It's really hard to tell details on it so I don't know what to think but i'm looking forward to seeing the bulbous headed alien in it.

I would like to see a piece that was like a regular stud but flat on the top.

I really can't wait 'till janurary 1st. To be honest I really hope we'll be seeing a DARKER general Grievous. I wonder though if we'll be seeing phase two clone troopers soon since Lego seems to be making them in the new upcoming wave.

The Federation is yet again at war with an emboldened Klingon empire who has conquered the Gorn, Nausicans, and nearly bringing a weakened Romulan Star Empire to it's knees. I'm in a fix between the 1989 and 2009 sets. The 2009 sets did a really good job of reintroducing the line with really cool updated parts and people so they were really good. However the 1989 sets though, first had more sets and a little more bang for your buck, piece wise. Ultimately I chose the classic 1989 although both waves were excellent.

Really nice review. I never got this set but it looks pretty interesting. I'm wondering id you have the newer 2006 version? If so you should add a comparison shot possibly. If not still really good review for a pretty decent set.

Oh you'll be surprised. This is Susan all over again. Besides the reason I said my ghost will haunt the police is because the police voted against me first. Besides ever since I first accused the police you have on my back. Would'nt that be what scum would do. I mean think of who would look worse in that situation the accuser or the accused. Have'nt you read what i've been saying, I already mentioned why I repeated that. It was at the end of the day and the last post before Susan's execution so I thought no one would have read it then so I repeated it again today. Look I may have been pushy but at least I was trying to find out who the mafia was. You people keep doing this. everyone was positive that Susan was mafia because of something she said. Was she? No she was'nt and I have to admit she looked a little suspicious at the end. You people are Blindly attacking me and doing the Exact same thing you did to Susan! I ony wanted to protect my town. People who voted to be on the band wagon please rethink your vote. Look at what the people have said today and decide from your gut or the evidence, not just from either the police's or my side. Yet again i'm quite impressed with you're new figure. I like the subtle difference between the Efreet's and Genie's magical, tail thingie, bottom area. The Genie's is slightly curlier and the Efreet's is flatter, kind've shows the difference between the two species. I don't know if that was intended but even if not it was brilliantly done so good job!

Okay first off I was barely involved yesterday because I could'nt keep up with the 28 some pages. I'm really hoping that with Cad Bane comes a new "trench" coat. It would be accurate to the actual character and would serve well in other themes.

It seems like an okay set. Good parts and minifigures but way overpriced. I mean it's more expensive then the construct a buzz
