Review: 5906 Ruler of the Jungle
Forresto replied to Mörs's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
This is pretty good! A little word of advice for when you review bigger sets. People like more pictures in a review that shows different aspects of a set. People also like it when you do comparisons to either other minifigures of that theme or at least one side shot of the set with another set of that theme (if you have one.) Good review! -
Custom Painted Clone Trooper
Forresto replied to Millacol88's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Very nice! I like him. He actually looks like he could be one of Gree's men from the Clone Wars. By the way is that a type of airbrush or did you brush paint it? Anyways great job and can't wait to see more. -
oops thank you KimT It's a brilliant set and I can't wait to buy it. I converted the price for the set in American money but according to the exchange rate it would be $53 . That can't be even close to being right it probably more like thirty or even forty dollars. But let's stay on target and not discuss in to much detail about any countrie's set prices. See I can be responsible KimT

That's because he has new torso printing. Since I can unfortunatly only speak english (and a little spanish) could someone most kindly translate this for the rest of us only english speakers? I would be most grateful.

One of my earliest memories growing up is playing with my dad, building different scenarios with my plastic army men. Be it bugs or the tan I would just spend hours leading my little green soldiers against their foes. In fact the earliest video games I ever played was 3DO's plastic army men series which I really enjoyed. Now a days I still have a small collection of army men but in general most of my collection is gone. When I first saw that Lego was doing a set that had Plastic army men I just could'nt control myself. After I inevitbly bought a set (could'nt afford two ), I could'nt put them away. After a while I realized that two things were missing, first there were no sets with any tan soldiers. That was beyond my capabilities (if anyone out in the community tries I would love to see it). Secondly there was no tank. Since the last thing is very important to any modern army I decided to build the creation I present to you now. The Tank Machine gun Dynamite Bomber Don't pretend you have'nt once done this before The convoy Make sure to check out the gallery on brickshelf for more pics Link Thank you and all comments good or bad are most welcome

Atlantis 8061 Gateway of the Squid - alternate build
Forresto replied to Svelte's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
This really cool! I guess it also gives you an exscuse to buy a third set -
She is a lovely lady indeed! Really good job Siegfried on everything especially the streamlined engines. Have you seen the movie "Treasure Planet"? Because this ship reminds me a little bit of one of the ships from that movie.

I've just been watching Appocolypto and the The Mission recently and this whole scene has a lot of meaning. It's the spark for the fall of several civilazations and many cultures and something that is very important I find in American history. It's sad though because so many terrible things happened to these people. Really good scene and great job capturing it.

One word, Incredible! This is utterly amazing.

This may be asking you a lot, but is it possible you do a review of the prison set? No one has yet so it would be nice to see one.

What I want to know is if anyone has got the instructions fo a MB Halo set and try to make a Lego counterpart. Sure all the pieces might not be the ame but it can be compensated. To be honest MB's design might be somewhat similar to what Lego would've done anyways.

Good to see another skins fan here. I don't always watch football and I admit I watch more MLB. However since I live in DC most of the people I know root for the Redskins and I will always root for my hometown team. I sometimes go with the packers since a lot of my relatives support them but I mainly go with the Redskins. GO REDSKINS!

Pretty nice review for an, at lest for me and some others an obscure set. I liked rockraiders but only got one set , the base, and liked what I got. The monster is pretty awesome which I have started using a lot more with my power miners. The one thing I liked about Rock Raiders more than I like about PM is the fact that they're mining on an alien planet/asteroid. Besides that though I ultimately like PM better for several reasons.

Really nice job on this aircraft. I like the minifigures and the whole craft! It has a kind of retro lego vibe to it that I feel.

FYI most of the 2009 PM sets are on sale Link

Very nice and a pretty cool craft. The tecniques used on this are really good. You should be proud!

This is really awesome! I love the charging squiddies and the way you have them posed makes them look revenous. BTW I don't think it's dorky you posed for the right angles yourself because that's kind've cool you would do that.

This is an incredible MOC. I love the colors on it and altogether is extremely beautiful. Good job! Oh god I just realized i've never been in this part of Eurobricks. Oh I hope i'm not mugged by a bunch of bionicle fans Just joking.

OOOF! I hit a tree and lost a girl! Great little scene! Funny and a great use of jumper plates as skates!

One thing I noticed about this year is the amount of sets that are redos. The Arc 170 The Landspeeder The Swamp Speeder Jedi Starfighter CTT Slave 1 Grievous's starfighter The snowspeeder in the wampa set Tri-Droid fighter Palpatine's shuttle is simlar to a mixture between an imperial shuttle and a Republic Attack Shuttle These are'nt criticisms but observations. If'm correct then this would make 2010 the record for amount of redo sets.

The perspective on this is really good and I would never have hought of using the skeleton leg in that way. Great job and I can't wait to see more from you.
