They don't release it over here I'm going to ask some relitives in Germany to send one, (or 5) over here.

They might as a kind of cenor, but normally they just give you sets we don't get... damn house.... The Fire Station they wouldn't change that much through unless they are making a $50 one, because the prototype looks like Lego was trying to make a more expensive set, then changed their minds. That's just what I get from it through.

Fine for sure are prototyeps, the ones Sam posted are probably also prototypes, but much closer to the final thing. It's not like Lego just makes one set, theyimprove it more and more to get the final, and Sams look much more final, and are probably semifinal to what we get. Saying this is wrong.... "Those pics are sopposed to be the definitive versions" That's a mistake, simple as that because, the Fire Station is not the one, and the Police Car has white, not grey above the wheel. And I would like to thank jindroush for standing up and saying the truth. THESE are even more prototype than Sam's. Post Sam's pictures, they will at least be closer to the real thing. The only pictures that are final are the scan with all the Police and Fire sets, the Fire Truck box, and what jindroush posted as the Fire Station. If you can't get that right, I'm not going to believe this "confirmation" of yours.

And who confirmed this? Because whoever did nothing have a damn clue what they are talking about. Being that I OWN (Do any of you?) the Fire Station, I can tell you that the pictures I posted do now match, and being that I OWN the set I'm pretty sure that is the final one. :|

Yeah you are still showing the prototype sets, they are, and not the more likely true sets.

We really need to make a topic that just have the pictures of the 2005, it won't be open to posts, just something that people can look at because all the new members don't want to go through 35 pages looking for them.

Well some cranes and things in the real world are massive too, so it's really not a problem. But before the set looked to be 8 wide and really long, now it seems to be 12 wide and shorter.

I don't even think that the crane will fit in my layout, I'm already having problems, plus it's bigger than the road itself. :)

I think I like the "new" crane more because it looks more real, the other one was way too long and thin. This one is much wider and shorter and make it look real. Plus those side things to keep it from tipping are must better and bigger and look like they can hold the set up. The car door hasn't been around, I thought the mod broke or soemthing because we have gotten a lot of cars recently and no car doors. That is a very nice picture of the fire station set 7240.

Lots of Duplos... I wonder what Lego has up there sleaves for the Summer, the fall seems to be where we get exclusive online and Legend/released sets, along with a few new sets in each theme, but the summer... nothing. Any big movie they might have bought the rights for that come out in the summer months?
