  1. Is this the rumoured Halloween version of the Winter Village?
  2. Perhaps we’ll get the Animal CMF line that we thought the costumed series was going to be. A guy can dream… if not, I’m giving Lego plenty of advanced warning that I fully expect to see some Adventurers sets in 2028 (being the 30th anniversary of the theme’s debut). I know the Jungle and Asian subthemes didn’t follow until later but it would be a great opportunity for some new wildlife. By then we’ll need to start selling bodily organs to afford Lego though…
  3. I’m looking forward to the Gondolier and the Spa Lady Presumably the actual gondolier may be like the train kid or ship captain with a vehicle accessory connected to the waist. However they do it, I hope it contains a specific piece that can connect to the front of a full size gondola for MOC purposes. Hope the spa lady has cucumber over the eyes (there was a pic of the bag where she had this but it was suggested this was a fake) also wearing a white bathrobe and with towel headgear. My dream is to build a minifig-scale Lego cruise ship so I always look out for any figs that might be compatible. A spa lady would work very nicely, so thanks for this, Lego (p.s. I still don’t like you very much these days though).
  4. Sadly only brick built but should excite @williejm Grand Prize Selection: Rebuilding Outdoor Adventures | LEGO® Ideas
  5. Happy Burns night, wiliejm! I wouldn't say no to more wee timorous beasties...
  6. Another good idea! I’d like to see a track that inclines too.
  7. I agree 100% with this - would have loved the option of buying more Orient Express carriages separately or something like the Metroliner (my favourite set of all time), where they released a separate compatible club car. I do wish Lego trains were more than just a new passenger train, freight train and platform every few years. Would be great to have lots of sets a bit like Hornby with various additional parts like bridges, signals, etc
  8. Zero for me but at least I can just use the same guesses for the next game! I think you can have a full point for that even if not!
  9. There is a Zelda film coming out next year.
  10. Oh that’s good. I don’t think we have ever had more than 2 new animals in a CMF series but hopefully there will be two at least. My guess would be a beaver with either a Canadian fig or a lumberjill and an Amazon Explorer with a sloth. If asking for new moulds is too much for Lego, I’ll guess a recoloured fox with a refuse collector (foxes near us love to raid bins) and a recoloured raven with a dark wizard/sorceress.
  11. I'm optimistic every year for new animals but have learned it's not wise - better be surprised than disappointed I suppose! I guess the set names don't really suggest settings where animals are particularly abundant (e.g. nothing implies the forthcoming sets will take place in a more natural landscape like a rainforest, savannah or national park where you'd expect a bigger variety of animals). This just leaves more urban or domestic animals - I suppose we have a lot of foxes in built-up areas here in the UK so that is a possibility for a re-colour of the arctic foxes. However, visitors from abroad always seem surprised to see them, so it clearly isn't a common thing in a city setting!
  12. I moan a lot about Lego now but promoting inclusivity is something I feel Lego does very well these days.
  13. Yeah - 2026 looks to be a very bad year for new animals in Lego City. Hopefully this isn’t part of the new lead designer’s vision going forward, in particular as I don’t particularly like what we’ve seen so far.
  14. Yes - don’t get me wrong they are far far better than stickers, which is why I always look forward to the modular sets. I just wish the designers would be more considerate of usage outside the specific set. A more general ‘Sale On’ or ‘Clearance Sale/Everything Must Go’ tile without the chair image would have been better as this could apply to many businesses. Another example is the name tag on the CMF waitress torso, which made the figure too specific and restricted multiple use. If we are paying greatly increased prices for products these days then they really need to be the very best and worth paying for.
  15. I don’t see them having much use for MOCs as they seem a bit specific to the set. The Brickleys sign is on a curved window and I don’t really want to use that name, the Sale print cannot be used as a general sale sign for a non chair-selling business and the ocular chair/throne looks a bit too specific and maybe old/fashioned. Lego often spoils things by adding too much and not considering that people may wish to use the prints to build something outside the set. For example, the Jazz Club had a nice ‘live music’ sign, which would have been awesome but they decided to add ‘and Magic Show’, making it a very weird venue indeed.
