It was an argos returns pallet that I purchased for £50 which had loads of argos toys that had been returned for one reason of another and the creator house was sitting in it becuase it had one peice missing and after working out each of the toys cost the house worked out at being about £2, also included was ramasis pyramid lego game. Here is the photo of the house that I built

An exellent review and a very nice set, I am fortunute enough to have picked this set up for just £2 which is fantastic but I think that the £50 rrp is a bit steep, the only problem I have with this set is the lack of interior and as with most of my models I took elements of each book and merged them into one to make a fantastic set. Thanks for this review

That limo is stunning and a release date of february. That limo is top of my lego purchases next year (possibly this year?) P.S I also love that helicopter, just what my swat team needs

I want to use gears and the motor here is the connection to the lift and here is the gearing the two gears together on the same axle will be replaced with the thing that the string connects to on lego sets
-
Hi I have now recived my order from lego and now the front of the toy shop has a roadplate rather than the entrance to hell Also the airport has now changed slightly as I added in the second roadplate Will post photos once I update the police station
-
I now have a much slower large gear but once I connect it to the lift the string that holds the lift pulls the gear of the bricks that hold it on, does anyone have any ideas
-
I would like to use gears but I am not sure what gears I should use to slow it down as it is for a working lift in a police station P.S it does help to be a techie, I am currently doing a degree in embedded systems (also I love the discovery channel)
-
Hi I am not sure if this is in the correct area but how would you go about slowing down one of the power functions m motor thanks in advance
-
I thought that at the time, it is just unussual for lego to use it three times in plain sight in the same item, oh I wish they could release that as a set/exclusive
-
I am meaning this one in the 2009 advent calender and here it is in the 2008 advent calender
-
as I discovered when I opened my advent calender is that for the last 3 years we have had a bank, well sort of in the background of the advent calenders there has always been legos bank so they have the set but have still not released it

Thanks for your comment LightningTiger The main runway of the airport goes south from the port so it is not that close to the city (not as close as heathrow or washington) the repair garage is not for the aircraft but for the vehicles in Bricklingston I do think that the mall idea is a good idea but I do not think it will work for me The hospital will be getting redesigned but not at the moment which means that I will not change the driveway yet I do have 2 roadplates on order from Lego and they should arrive before the end of the week I am glad you like the fire boat, it was not paticuarly based on anything, I just felt that the fire boat needed a closed interior. If you wish I will post more pics of it in a different topic

That is amazing ralph, I do know one way to have the stripes as lego without having them looking crooked which if you give me your email address I will send you a pdf document that I got online about 2 years ago which describes different building techniques -
Thanks to everybody for the comments The lava gap is now getting worked on by Connery Construction (I used henry jones sr's head from the indy motorbike set as the head of the owner of the construction crew) are working very hard and have told me that it will be sorted by the next update

Thanks I am glad everyone likes it I plan on adding the sidewalk (pavement in the uk) once I get enough money and time (anyone know a good source of dark grey plates in the uk) appologies for forgetting the last building, the last building will be the coast guard headquaters. Also before january there will be a wind turbine being added when I get the wind turbine transport set (even though most of the buildings have solar panels (go green energy )
