  1. Has anyone received shipping confirmation on their May the 4th orders yet?
  2. Unfortunately, the Marvel sets are only worth it if you can find them with at least a 25% off discount, otherwise it is still cheaper to import.
  3. Much better than expected.
  4. I'd say next week at the earliest.
  5. I think this is worthy of being classified as a UCS set, look at 10221, it's an official set and it is nowhere near accurate if you look at it from the bottom, and that's because the builder had to compromise on the structure for stability of the set.
  6. It most likely will be, with free shipping.
  7. That's $10 more then the already ridiculous RRP.

    Super Wars!

I think it was very clever of you Oky to come up with the comparisons, good job.
  9. Thanks for giving us a look at these upcoming sets, I can't wait till they're released.
  10. Has anyone found a way to store large instruction manuals for sets like the UCS Millennium Falcon, Minifig Death Star, and UCS Super Star Destroyer.
  11. They used to be on the Mr Toys website but now they don't list upcoming lines unit they are released.
  12. I was talking to the LEGO Rep at Target and she said May.
  13. Myer will be having a sale starting Thursday, I haven't seen the catalog but the cashier lady told me there would be some of the new technic sets discounted.

    Farewell

Good luck with your future endeavours, you have been an excellent moderator.
  15. This set looks fantastic, I can't wait to get it. I wonder if it is scaled to the UCS Yoda, if so they would look great together.
  16. Great, I hope this will be available for the annual 'May the 4th be with you' sale. It should be since it is supposed to be released in May.
  17. I hope you didn't pay $50, because Target has 30% off boardgames and 20% off LEGO, so you should be paying $34 because of the 30%.
  18. I'm surprised no one else noticed that.
  19. It certainly is unfortunately.
  20. Recycling truck and robbers hideout are supposed to be released in April, series 7 in May, and Marvel Super Heroes in April, according to the LEGO magazine. EDIT 27th Also toyworld has a new catalogue starting today. You get a free police watch if you spend 100 or more, but the discounts aren't great.
  21. Bad new guys the reports of the Super Heroes sets pricing at Myers are true. here are the prices rounded up to the nearest dollar The Batcave $140 Batmobile $110 Batwing $65 Superman $45 Catwoman Catcycle $27 Also all the Hero Factory sets are also overpriced by $3-$5. If Myers keeps doing this, I will not be buying LEGO in Australia for the foreseeable future. In sales news, Myers will also be having a somewhat mediocre sale from Thursday, Minifigures and selected Star Wars sets will be on sale but not by much. Sorry I don't know what the exact prices were.
  22. In the movie Chronicle (2012), there is a scene where the guys are testing out their new powers on LEGO, and one makes a Seattle Space Needle? (correct me if I'm wrong) out of multicoloured bricks.
  23. As much as I would love to have every single set I own, displayed, it would take up too much space and be overwhelming to clean. I do keep all my LEGO Exclusives (Taj Mahal, Tower Bridge Imperial Flagship), and Star Wars UCS sets on display because they are excellent LEGO sets and I can't bring myself to take them apart. I'm only starting to break down all my BIONICLE and old Exo-Force sets, I don't want to, but I have to.
  24. Kmart has the 9558 Ninja Training set for $24, RRP $34.99, Big W Price $28.68. That's not a bad deal almost 30% off and it is a new set.
