  1. Seeing as this is the only planet set of this wave that has parts made in China, it could very well be a possibility unfortunately.
  2. They're just ignorant.
  3. Wow, this set looks amazing. Just from the look of it, it looks like it may top the other WV sets as the best in the series.
  4. New Ninjago, City Miners, and most surprisingly Spongebob sets spotted at Big W.
  5. Nick Fury is disappointing, it's not the Avengers version. On the other hand I can't wait till the TDKR sets, love those figures.
  6. You have made a pretty hard argument to beat Aeroeza, and I totally agreed with you from the start, this is a lovely model, and I'll be buying it day one. Also has everyone forgotten other UCS sets such as Obi-Wan's JSF, Darth Vader's Tie, Snowspeeder, and Tie Interceptor, what do they have in common? No minifigs.
  7. I just wen't to my Big W and picked up the Beach House for $35, instead of $38 as per their catalog. Looks like they copied Kmart's price.
  8. Great, I can't wait to get it, looks really good.
  9. Only if I'm not careful, I only use it for put together sets, not on minifigs or unstable connections, mostly for my UCS and other large sets. The brush at the end is long enough to sweep over the grooves without disconnecting the bricks.
  10. For cleaning my sets I bought a handheld Dyson vacuum cleaner, and use it approximately every month. The only downside is that the charge only lasts 6 minutes, but it's enough to do what I need it to do.
  11. Does anyone know if Myer will have an extra 10% off for MyerOne members tomorrow?
  12. All the new summer sets apart from the exclusives, they are great. One of the best line of Star Wars sets in years.
  13. My local Big W, and K-Mart, seemed to have a lot of them, none anywhere else though.
  14. Excellent review, of an equally excellent set, this is a must buy for any aviation fan, or the casual LEGO fan.
  15. Nope my store in Qld had it for $200 as well, I assume it is the same across the board.
  16. I paid full price for mine and I'm happy with it. I think $74.95 is worth it, it's a good set.
  17. Today only at Myer Buy 2 Toys get the third free.
  18. Myer, Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast QLD, had the new Star Wars, but was missing Cloud City Planet, Gungan Sub, Sith Fury Class Interceptor, and Malevolence, but everything else was there, and no LotR. The nice lady did say, that there were still 4 pallets of stock in the Brisbane Myer Distribution Centre, but were unlikely to arrive today. Also Big W Noosa had Yavin 4 Planet, Old Republic Fighter $74, and Saesee Tiin's Fighter $48. Note Saesee Tiin's Fighter is $59.99 at Myer and with 20% off comes to around $47, whereas Big W everyday price is $48.
  19. Heads up guys, My friend who works at Myer, said that they will be having a 'buy 2 get one free' sale this weekend, and that they are having their big mid year sale on the 21st of June. Sets on sale, include VW Van $129, Helms Deep $169, Malevolence $???, Tower Bridge $299. Sorry about the price of the Malevolence, I forgot it, but the Gungan Sub was in the catalog too, so I'm assuming they will have all the Star Wars sets there, and finally 20% off all LEGO, starting 21st of June.
  20. LEGO orders made on S@H outside the US, get shipped from Denmark, through Singapore, to the distribution warehouse in Sydney, then out to customers. The Sydney warehouse does not fulfil S@H orders they just receive incoming retail sets and then distribute them to stores.
  21. I always enjoy reading your funnies Oky, keep them up.
  22. Very nice parts usage ACPin, love the sand green.
  23. It's about time, it's a great set. I do hope it get's approved.
  24. Also for some reason, LEGO also thinks the current price of the Town Hall is too cheap, it is now $299 instead of $249 on S@H.
  25. Excellent review Rufus, I thoroughly enjoy reading your reviews. Thank you for taking the time to do so.
