  1. It is? Woo-hoo!
  2. Lovely review, Fangy! Great pics - the new camera is living up to expectations I agree this is a great promotional set. It was the only one of the Sun promotion that I was able to get in a reasonable quantity, and it's the best of the bunch in my opinion.

  4. Oooh I would so like to get my hands on this set, but I don't think it's ever going to happen. Nice, clear pictures! Thanks SI-Mocs Indexed.
  5. Sorry to bump an aging thread, but this is an excellent review and I thought it deserved another look. I can't believe it didn't get any replies - I seem to remember encouraging starstreak to review the set in the first place and I'm embarrassed that I missed it when it first came out I love these medium-sized car sets, whether they are the CREATOR type or licensed/racer sets like this one. There's some interesting build techniques going on in there, and the mechanism to raise and lower the roof is clever and very slick (I fixed the video link which wasn't working for some reason - it's well worth a look.) Unfortunately I missed out on this set, so it's great to get a closer look - thanks, starstreak!
  6. And suddenly there is one. If a lot of suggestions come in, I'll make it an official thread.
  7. Some beautiful pictures, keep them coming! Linko, your pictures are wonderful, but please note that the maximum permitted picture size on EB is 800x600 - I'd be grateful if you resize them in future. Thanks! Same goes for you, LegoCityMann. Interesting concept; you might want to adjust the colour cast on your pictures (or adjust the white balance of your camera)
  8. Shut it, Cammo! It's a fabulous MOC and it's stayin' 'ere. Grrr! Actually, you have a good point. I've indexed it under Military - it's in a bit of a grey area - but if Gabry$ feels strongly either way, I'm sure he'll let us know
  9. Hi, The Ghost of Yellow Beard, and welcome to Eurobricks. I hope your question has been answered! I suspect this part is so common that people can't give them away. Please do note that, as this is an adult site, we do expect a reasonable level of attention with regard to punctuation and capitalisation, but I'm sure you'll take more care in future. Thanks! I'll merge this topic with the existing discussion in due course.
  10. I think I've played it, once or twice... I seem to remember it came on a carved wooden (or possibly stone or ivory) board. As such, it's a nice idea, and your design is accurate in that it has twelve 'cups' to hold the counters; however, in LDD you have no limit to your brick selection, and I think you could perhaps improve the design by tiling the base of the cups and the around the top. Doing so will make it more playable as it'd be easier to get the round bricks back out of the cups. Just a suggestion! Indexed.
  11. Top-notch review as ever, def! I'm glad you got in there first To sum up my feelings on this set: it's a good LEGO rendition of a ridiculous vehicle. If I were dead-set on collecting figures, a completionist, or were also suffering a Savage man-crush, I could justify splashing out on this set, but for me there are more important purchases this summer.
  12. Not a bad review for your second attempt! I'd just suggest doing your best to avoid blur (a tripod really helps ). If you're planning to do more, you might want to think about joining the Reviewers Academy where we'll show you how to make some professional-looking reviews. It's an interesting set, with some nice colours. Lime green is in the moment! However, I have a sneaky suspicion that this craft is too Sci-Fi for Special Themes, so I'll move it (if I can ).
  13. Ah haha!! As a Farmville repenter myself, I really appreciated your story! Welcome to EB, Wardancer; I know you'll have a good time here! EB isn't a 'flash in the pan' like FV
