  1. What more would you like to discuss? I'm more than willing to do so. I just don't see any conversation happening. Is there anything else you'd like me to respond to or any specific conversation you're looking for?
  2. Not to mention, the investigator can't be killed! It's true. We know this.
  3. That is an interesting possibility...
  4. I think we're doing the right thing. If you're a Malone and the Town takes it out on me tomorrow, that would be unfortunate since I am a Malone. I looked back and I don't see any specific questions I asked you. I explained to others where the concerns came from and you answered the concerns, but I haven't found anything you've said to be compelling enough to change my vote. Nor do I find your behavior since becoming the main lynch target convincing that you are a Townie either. It doesn't appear that you've convinced five other people that you're a Malone either. Hopefully they are all Malones as well. Wouldn't that be nice of the Scum to put themselves all in one basket like that for us, by not voting for you? Either way, they all have their own suspicions of you and nothing you've said seems to be convincing them otherwise either. And pay closer attention, Kristina has already opened up communication with me. It'd be nice if we can start clearing people. Investigator, again, you can't be killed, so why are you not sharing your results with us? It will certainly help us figure this out and give us a solid base to plan with.
  5. What answers are you waiting for...answers from?
  6. I don't believe Dexter has confirmed if he received something or not. Colin seems to think he has the hard hat. I took the crystal ball, which Colin had a hard time believing due to the discrepancy between our offer of a question from the Hippie and Terrence claims to have had no other options to choose from so had to ask a question. Colin took the badge that gives him a second, secret vote. I believe it's possible that more than one person was allowed to ask a question, but we've had no confirmation of that. On to Terrence's alleged question. It would be a very smart move for the Scum to come up with such a false question if, in fact, no Scum had listed Terrence as suspicious. A fact that would be easily recognizable for the Scum, since they know that only Townies are suspecting him. Amongst the group that suspected Terrence (omitting Dexter since my list accidentally did so) Peter seems the most Scummy, to me anyway. He was blocked from speaking last night as was Dogukan and Adelaide the night before him. We know both of them were Town so they wouldn't lie about being blocked from speaking. Perhaps the Scum were blocking the quieter players from speaking to make them seem more suspicious? Perhaps they purposely targeted Peter, one of their own, to make him look like a Townie. Maybe the inability to talk during the day is the side effect of some other Action they have or a counter to our comm expert. We can allow people to talk behind the scenes, while they can stop people from bringing info to the day thread. And I do mean day. So, would the Scum be clever enough to put Terrence forward with the false question that implicates Me, Cebastiane, Peter and Kristina? And would they have the knowledge of foresight to cite my mistaken list as one that didn't include Dexter, so that there would be four living Townies in the suspect column? That would certainly buy them four more days as we'd figure it out. As Penelope pointed out, even if the answer from The Dirty Hippie was true, then there would be 3 or 4 Scum in the remaining group of seven. If Terrence is lying then, the remaining 7 contain 4 or 5 Scum, a concept that Rolfe seems to despise for some reason. People not voting for Dexter: Terrence, Penelope, Rolfe, Peter (& Dexter, obviously), Peter being the only one who has yet to cast a vote. Funny enough, those are the four people whose alignment a discussion about the validity of Terrence's claim about his question to the Dirty Hippie revolves around. ... I'm still uneasy about Cebastiane. Can't get a read. Thought I'd throw that out there. I doubt anyone agrees there. It stands to reason that most people are aware of the alter ego of my alter ego. I'm sure that a group of four or five Scum would all be aware of it. (By the way, I'd think there were five in total) Does Penelope really not know or is she trying to seem like she doesn't know in order to seem like she's not talking to a group of people who would know. Did that make sense? Rolfe flits in, Rolfe flits out, but he doesn't post...
  7. OK, let's look over Patricia's case against Dexter then: It seems that the original concern was simply not having a reason to switch from calling for a lynch to asking for an investigation instead. And then switched back to voting for him, dropping the idea for an investigation. Here she points out that he is dodgy and defensive instead of having a conversation about things. I, personally, didn't see anything Patricia did to warrant such ire from him. I don't think anything she said was offensive. Perhaps it's just aggravating to be caught out. Add this to the inconsistencies I pointed out and I feel it's the right vote. This is also the first vote where there hasn't been a clear bandwagon. Those not voting for Dexter aren't making very strong cases and trying to get the Town to reconsider. I would think if they really didn't think he was Scum, they'd be a bit more adamant about getting us to vote for someone else, since if Dexter is Town, this could be our last Night in the game. Instead they are softly urging in other directions or mentioning vague suspicions, not voting and wandering off. I am worried that we could be wrong about Dexter, but I feel he's the strongest case right now. If we were to follow Terrence's answer from the Dirty Hippie, I think we could vote Peter off, but I have a stronger feeling towards Dexter. If we're wrong, that will suck to lose without catching any Scum, but that may just be an effect of the game mechanics...
  8. You go back and forth in my head as a Scumbag. Why would you jump on Priscilla right after she was possessed by another entity? Give the new spirit some time to adjust to the new body. What horrible possession etiquette you have. This may actually win the award for the Scummiest thing ever said in this game. Even if you are Town, this is ludicrously Scummy. You don't have a case against him, yet you agree with me and Colin, yet you're still not going to vote for him. I don't understand why you have to have the suspicion originate in your body even if you agree with our case, as you say. It's just really confounding and a really lame excuse to not vote for Dexter. This makes me a bit nervous. Are the Scum trying to not vote for Dexter because Dexter is Scum and they want to save him? That would be more than a bit silly as they're ahead and simply trying to save the first Scum voted for...by revealing themselves blatantly...could prove disastrous for what has been a good game up to this point. Or, are they trying to not vote for him because they want to not be seen on another Townie bandwagon? Maybe they're just getting sloppy and thought maybe there were some others who wouldn't vote for Dexter and didn't want to hold off too long like Peter here: I might vote for one, but maybe the other without much reasoning. Let me see what everyone else does, especially my Scum team. That's what this post says to me. Rolfe is Scummy as hell, but I won't vote for him. Along with having no reason to think Dexter is not Scum, specificaly no responses to the many points up and outlined succintly by Patricia right before her untimely death. Yup. Ping.
  9. But those hunches and suspicions were enough for you to claim you were going to vote for Colin. This discrepancy and your lack of a substantial defense are making me feel pretty good about this vote. A falsely accused Townie doesn't just sit there and say "Oh, I wish this wasn't on my shoulders" they fight for the Town and try to provide a better path. What's more interesting, though, are the people resisting the vote on Dexter...
  10. It just seems a bit off. It pinged me. The Scummiest thing you've heard all day? Does that mean there's some sort of continuum that you've been tracking? What about the other Scummy things you've heard. Who else has raised your suspicions? You appear to be parroting me from earlier when I first started poking Colon. What he said wasn't that Scummy but I wanted to see how he'd react to the accusation. I don't think you're doing that here. It sounds more like you're trying too hard to sound like a Townie.
  11. It seems like an over-reaction.
  12. That's called fancy defecating. In my day, we only had one form. I was just going to defecate. Who has time to burn it?
  13. I can help you catch up: you're Scum. And apparently I'm being a dick. I really didn't think I was but I've been told otherwise. Sorry. I didn't think my dickish statements would be taken so seriously. They were not meant seriously. I won't really be pooping on anyone's doorstep.
  14. Good point. Vote: Dexter (def) for all the reasons that have been previously stated. Regarding who to kill, I wish there was a way to privately communicate with you Colin, so the Scum can't plan accordingly. Only being able to communicate in thread is problematic to Town cohesion! Let's not give God a hard time about that until the game concludes. megablocking stupid rule. Eh, sorry.
  15. Don't tell him. I have trouble thinking Terrence would make that all up. What an elaborate plot would that be? Do the Scum really need to run that sort of gambit being as far ahead as they are? However, if he's Scum and they came up with the plan, thinking we'd focus on that list of five, and there are no Scum in that list of five, that would guarantee them at least one more Townie lynch, if not five and therefore the win. Would God answer such a question, I have no way of knowing. Also, that entire list could be Scum and he could be saving four of them by getting just one lynched. Well, I'm on the list, so I know that one isn't true, but there are several options as to why the Scum might try to run such a gambit. But, the simplest razor or something like that. No, your statement is the Scummiest thing you've heard all night. Are you two staging something? This seems really forced. So, we have an investigator no matter what happens. Isn't that good. There's no way to kill the investigator, so our investigator should feel free to come forward and reveal all of the results. No fear, investigator. I know your story, so even if you reveal yourself, you don't need to be afraid. We know we'll never lose the investigator. Let's hear what you have please. It's time to be bold and take risks. The investigator cannot be killed. Make a move for the Town.
  16. Ugh, I put Dexter as saying Rolfe was suspicious instead of Terrence. Duh. Sorry. He posted before Patricia, but I didn't see the list. I noticed as I was about to post and plugged his votes in. My addled brain placed him before Patricia even though he only voted with her once. I agree with this list minus Terrence plus Priscilla. Terrence may still be Scum, but I'm not so sure. I'd like to see a dead Priscilla real soon. I suggest we lynch Dexter today. Perhaps we ask Colin not to kill anybody to ensure us one more day in this fight against Ferraris.
  17. Gotcha. What else was being said by all three of you? What were the similar things? Were any of them a list of suspicions?
  18. Why not? Even I believe him. Colin, your game has sucked sorry, but I won't be voting for you.
  19. I don't know any more than anybody else needs to know about Person A.
  20. It's called work and class. Was there something specific you needed? Guess what? I can corroborate her claim. I'm in communications with her behind the scenes now so leave Person A alone.
  21. Why won't you be lynched? May as well spill it now. I'm really not convinced, especially of the cockamamie crap you just pulled, that you're Town or won't be lynched today. Although, in lieu of you, I'd happily lynch Priscilla, Peter or Dexter.
