  1. Sign me up, I like the rules, though I'm a bit confused by the removal of four elements, whats up with that?
  2. Throlar walks towards the inn, taking the pick with him.
  3. Throlar gouges out a small furrow between the two graves, then inserts the torso of the collapsed statue and uses the pointed end of the pick to cave a crude epitaph, They died like idiots, killed in self defense, They started it, yet I still feel horrible, They most likely had families, which makes me feel worse, They had no chance, which is worst of all.
  4. Bare hands should do... Throlar buries the citizen.
  5. Throlar stares at the body for a long time, then tries to find something to bury him with, a pickaxe won't work a second time.
  6. Throlar uses the pickaxe to dig a grave for the 'Captain', burying his mead with him, then checks to see if the Disgruntled Citizen is alive.
  7. "What the... I'm not an elf you oafs! did you ever see an elf this short? Or with a beard? I'm a dwarf! And I'm going to give you a horrible night for insinuating I'm one of that lot in the tower!" Throlar attacks 'Captain' of the R'kilf watch from the front row with the Morning Star. "And you with the pickaxe, I have no interest in taking your town, why on earth would you think I would?"
  8. "What? Are you deaf? I was standing right here and I told you that you would be paid, and now you tell me that I didn't? I know that you can hear me over here, so I can only take what you have said" Throlars face contorts in rage "as an insult! You are lucky that you are a woman or I would rip you limb from limb and force-feed you to a walrus! Good day! Or night rather." So saying Throlar leaves the inn and walks right into an extraordinarily thick fog bank. Finding himself unable to see more than three feet ahead Throlar takes a small, blue, glowing object from one of his pockets but finding that the illumination doesn't cut it Throlar puts it back stumbles alongside the buildings it total darkness. (OCC: If it isn't obvious by this point, Throlar is completely insane, just like me! )
  9. Seing the heroes enter Throlar says "No need to book rooms, I've already done that. Which reminds me, I ordered an extra one person room, please get rid of it for me." Returning to his conversation with the Hobgoblin Throlar said "Those are a few members of a group which I came with, one is still missing." Changing the subject suddenly Throlar said "By the way, have you been to Baltarok? Ever?"
  10. "Well, it's certainly better than being a slave. to many have to suffer that for something a lot of dead traitors who most of them aren't related to did before they (the slaves) were born, all thanks to that Garhouwgh Tarokai, Ash gravoul Tarokai!"These last words were filled with such a vehemence as was not generally heard.
  11. "Certainly, How do you do? My name is Throlar Wineghilm, ambassador, at your service." Throlar bows "May I ask what brings one of the Orocund to this festering hellhole?"
  12. "You will get your money, my good woman." Turning back to the hobgoblin he said"I am sorry, but I do not understand what you just said, tough I take it as a salutation, Baltar is the only orcish language I know."
  13. (OCC: Inability to sleep is a wonderful thing, no? ) "Throlar Wineghilm, ambassador of... a state I am not allowed to name, for now." Throlar pondered for a minute and realized that Arthur did not want to be associated with the other heroes, also that the women would need to be in different rooms from the men. "I would like two rooms each of both capacities, I'm the only one who is smaller than a man, that may help you." There, that was done with. Suddenly Throlar noticed that there was a hobgoblin standing to one side of the receptionists desk. "Excuse me for a second" said Throlar to the receptionist "I have something to attend to." Striding over to the hobgoblin with a speed and length of stride that none would have expected he said "Ereghk Valgahan(hail, brave warrior)!" (OCC: To be clear, Throlar is speaking Baltar, the language of Baltarok, not Goblonian or any other orc-goblin-hobgoblin language so the fellow he is speaking to may not understand him.)
  14. (OCC: I am speaking in Moon elvish and the lit stuff is to provide atmosphere. I may invent a alphabet, words, and grammar as I am doing with orcish at present. On a side note I never expected Shaw to lead the rebellion, trying to make up for past misdeeds eh?) Throlar looks round the stables and finds nothing. After bedding down the horses Throlar heads to the inn to secure a room (or two).
  15. "I said 'for the success of this mission' I fail to see how dividing my share between the others would help."
  16. "Nerwen, I wish no reward, I would give all I have for the success of this mission." Speaking to Saeavel he said "We are not enemies yet and we (lit, we here outside) have no wish to be so, if my companion Nerwen enters I will not accompany(lit, go with) her." Trying to be as Diplomatic as possible. Speaking again to Nerwen he said "I think would be best if an elf spoke to elves, I will go and fetch our horses from the inn (OCC:Well, they had to leave them somewhere, didn't they?) and take them to the stables."
  17. "I have not come to do so, but my companion has, I came in search of my compatriots."
  18. (OCC:Could you please take the trouble to type it correctly? It's R'kilf, not Ric'lin!)
  19. "I knew there was someone pointing an arrow at me anyway." Throlar leaped off the arch and landed on all fours like a cat, then turning to then door he spoke in the language of the Moon Elves. "Has any one been here before us?"
  20. "Silence, the mist is a medium for brooding."Nerwen gets the felling that diplomacy is something of a sore spot for Throlar. On coming to the keep Throlar looks at the building, clearly unimpressed. "Hmmpf, might be alright I suppose, there isn't anybody watching right now, if there was we would have known by now, lets see what's going on in there." Throlar spat on his hands and Clambered up the door and on to the arch and looked in one of the arrow slits to see what was going on in there."
  21. "Go on ahead of me Nerwen, I'll catch up with you." Throlar turns to Karhedin. "You have insulted me, you take warnings as threats, you say I insult you when I do not, you refuse a sensible offer with the manner of a self-important know-it-all, and you have rejected the help of not only myself and Nerwen, but also of Heroica, The seven clans of Titaan and there allies, the Moon Elves and human clansmen of Moone, the Halfling rangers of Greenhold, the warriors of Gnomiora, and the Orcish warriors of Baltarok." Throlar shakes his head "You are one sad little man who does not have the wit to realize that he has the same faults I confess to, arrogance, stupidity... and a foolish and well merited pride." With these words Throlar strides out of the tent and the camp and into the mist witch is making its way to the town and the market with Throlar. "What a town this is, the real mist swirls with that of intrigue and despair."
  22. "This is not a negotiation, this is simply an attempt to find out as much as possible. As for you interests sir, mine are yours. My mission my have a direct bering on your own. I have no enmity for you yet and I have no wish to take any thing from you without giving something back. As a proof of this I will give you a method of countering these poncanae." Throlar takes out the map (OCC: I am assuming that Throlar has the map here.). "As you see here, the forest runs right up to the town on a side that does not, and never had, a wall. This, coupled with the sudden fog witch seems to be able to come down in the middle of the day even in summer, means that the poncanae can get right into town without being stopped. This would explain the sudden attacks from inside the town." "Now if a large camouflaged detachment, larger than the average raiding band, waited in those woods for the poncanae to appear they would be able to overpower and capture at least one poncanae, interrogate him, and find out where the raiders are based." "This would be very helpful as, despite the unlikelihood that the pog knows the location of anything bigger than a small camp for a single band is located, it would be a great victory and very helpful to your cause." "The only problem that I can see is the fact that the raiding bands seem to have at least one mage each, however I saw a man in the tavern earlier who looked like a mage and might help you. He was wearing the uniform of a member of the Eubric Town Watch so his services may come at a price, but he would counteract the raider mages."
