  1. Kick start is great, but only in nostalgic meaning... It was very hard for me to kick start 350 ccm, haha!
  2. Not so often, but I am planning to...as soon as I reinstall my system, It would be great to play with/agains somebody from this forum! Maybe you need some patch...
  3. Probably rip off!
  4. I didn't see the movie, neither, but I like this building even without it! It looks very nice, with great details and nice symmetrical shape. Those fence and tiled pavement is great, too!
  5. They are good. I like the truck with the trailer. Even the tractor looks very good in yellow. Nice work!
  6. Hello, I have a new progress on my Zil Amo MOC these days, together with new JCB. Outer bodywork is done, so is the mechanics, all that is left are details on the outside (door handles, siren, grills on the hood, digging tools, hand crank for staring the engine...) and to install interior. Oh, and I might change dark gray plates (the flatbed) at the back with few giant red plates, it may look better (real one has that color of the flatbed). What do you think of it so far?
  7. If you are referring to this part: here they are: http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?colorI...mp;itemID=47855
  8. I agree on this
  9. Can you please provide higher resolution image, i cant see everything on this tiny picture!
  10. Welcome to Eurobricks! Have fun!
  11. Nice! Church is very good! Coloring on the walls could be better, imo, but it is probably just me. Also the vegetation is beautiful!
  12. 2 kilos of parts for my next two big projects!
  13. SpaceMonkey: Thanks! Those wheel arches are seen on almost every tractor-truck, so I wanted to have them. Those picture I have provided is naked chassis for the factory, then bunch of accessories are put on it, depending on the need. I think it looks more slick with arches, otherwise it look unfinished and bare. I tried many solutions about that angle on the doors, and this with 2x1 tiles appealed the best to me...maybe. Problem is that angle spreads the whole length of the door, not just on one part. Big Cam: Thanks! Unfortunate I have destroyed the truck few days ago, parts were needed for next MOC. For the driveshaft, please scroll down. Jetro: Thanks! For the driveshaft and pictures of the motors in chassis, please scroll down. Stevex: Thanks! I like PFs, too! All that is left from the interior is this: CP5670: Thanks! Yeah, the truck was meant to be crane carrier, but I was unable to finish it, didnt have the money...I tried to loose some of the sections on it, to shorthen the crane to 3 axles, but again it was to expensive Here is the chassis how it was supposed to look like in the start: Here are the pictures of the U-Joint and driveshaft: Main goal while making the driveshaft was handling the torque, which Lego ujoint just isn't capable of. This custom one is perfect for big scale models, looks good, and has one feature which I didn't think about at first: it is a little bit elastic, which means when 4 kilos truck start rolling, or suddenly stops, U-Joint will grab some of the pressure on itself, instead of the gears! I like that. At the end, here is the video of the driveshaft in action, propelling the tractor: Ralph_S Thanks! Glad you like it! I know, it looks a little bit low to me, too. But I have checked it 3 times, compared blueprints to my model, and it is perfectly scaled 13 times. It looks like it is just an optical illusion
  14. Yes, it it great! I like the engine! It looks monsterusly powerfull, it must have great power/weight ratio! It may really looks smoother without the tail!
  15. Welcome Henning M, You will have plenty of fun here with space, SW and town!
  16. Hello, Welcome to EB!
  17. Welcome! Have fun and of course, enjoy!
  18. Nice job writing that! I hope something will happen with this subject!
  19. Somehow I managed to miss this beautiful MOC. Oh man! I love this! I do not why, but I just starred at it for a minute or so, and thats not so often! Great!
  20. I like the CP-17 Schneider Unit! Very nice and creative!
  21. Impressive work! I just love how that building looks! Its awesome! Details of the all around chaos and destruction are excellent!
  22. The author said we are allowed to have just one post and one picture, and it should be posted in this thread, but this thread has already pictures and multiple replies, so it might be better to start a new thread, just for entries, without chat...
  23. I don't think blockiness is a issue her... My main weak spot here is the lack of the details in the trailer, It looks like a big transporting trailer, rather than highly functional police command center! I think you should pay lot more attentions to that. The MOC you are referring as a inspiration is really nice, and you have pretty good base of the model, just add few more details and it will be much better. I like it so far, keep up!
  24. Simple and nice. I like that combo!
  25. Hello, It has nice lines, front is nice, but it is very long! I think it can be easily shorted by 25% The main problem is proportions of the width and length! It may be better visually if you had build it 6 wide, all the way. When I take a look at the photos you provided, I see that the main body of the Land Rover is the same width as the back part of the vehicle.
