  1. Good lad. Take 'em out, I'll try and redirect our course. Our closest island is the Dutch owned St. Martin. We could go further and come back to our fellow Brits in St. Thomas. Friday, assist Rhymer. If you two take these guys out succesfully, we'll be seeing good things! EDIT: YAY, hot topic!
  2. Good lads! You're added to the directory of soldiers! Now, Rhymer, get to the crow's nest. I think I see something to the west. By god it had best not be a pirate! Friday, get to the gunbay, Rhymer, come to me with your report and go to the gunbay too.
  3. Thanks, I'm glad my call to alert you I'd finally posted it came through. And no, other users, he has never seen this MOC before. PS Bring some black pieces to Synagouge tonight! We'll improve 'er there.
  4. I know, it's crummy. I don't have a steering wheel for a ship so I resorted to using a gear. I made a custom sail, and added a cannon to transport. Description: River Runner is an Imperial Vessel. Easily off loaded from a larger ship, these small boats carry cannons and troops down rivers. They also serve as a water defense, because the captain driving the vessel can stop the boat and take control of the cannon. More pics: Rudder The Bridge Bow Cargo Hold VM hauls the cannon off board River Runner 2.0 [Added 6/2/06/] More pics. Note: The trans orange brick on the black minifig head is a lamp/torch thingy. The description above applies to this MOC. Changes included were a smaller rudder, different cannon handles, sturdier bow, and walls on the bridge. More pics: VM and cannon(Sorry for blurry, note the different handles) Back with improved bridge New rudder New Bow

Just fill out the sign up sheet I just added. Dillon-I'm not such an avid Lego fan, what's the Great Historical Lego War?

  7. That's no good, was it whilst engaging in piratical activities? An unhappy Spaniard smashed it with the end of his rifle. :-P I'll think twice before sending an armada to Spain next time.
  8. Oh, I thought when someone said Indians, they ment Native North Americans, not central, but the heck, that debate is over! :-P
  9. I hope I'm one of those members! *sweet* Cool powers, but it seems odd to have Nuparu with flight. I like Jaller's best, Matoro's coming in a close second.
  10. Nice theory. It fits with the story, but here's a question thayt also needs to be answered... Where did Fenrahk come from? I mean, if your fused to something, some random spider doesn't just walk up and join with you... Good theory though... *y*
  11. No, but I look on Bricklink, because my parents said they may make an account for me. So far, the prices are far to high. Not that I can't afford them, they're just not reasonable. PS Vahki broke his finger! First break! (Sorry for off topic...)
  12. They don't look all that much like Indians. More like plain old tropical islanders.
  13. Hmph |-/ Dude, everyone likes a good story, so who cares if it has Toa names, etc. it still is cool, and for your information, there are a good few Bionicle fans here!
  14. Chapter 1: Kataaraka, Kataar-Nui, and the Toa Once, long before Matoran arrived on Metru-Nui, a group of Matoran arrived on the shores of a large continent called Kataaraka. For thousands of years they thrived. Then, not long after Makuta was defeated, a great cataclysm struck Kataaraka. Huge floods and tidal waves terrorized the coasts, and earthquakes petrified the mainland. Huge fissures opened and horrible things came out. Rahi, Bohrok, and other things no normal Matoran would not have the stomach to identify. For a century or so, Matoran scrambled around the dying continent, their daily activities being hunting Bohrok, battling Rahkshi (Which was quite foolish, as not one time did Matoran come back alive, or with all their limbs still attached properly). Finally, a group of Matoran became smart enough to notice that staying on the island would do them no good. They built a fleet of ships, and set sail. After almost half a century on board, with several presents from flying Rahi and the occasional violent torrent, the Matoran found an island, which had been created when a series of tidal waves covored a strip of land, and left only that one bit. The Matoran built up magnificent villages and forts, castles and great towers. The Matoran named the island Kataar-Nui. Kataaraka did not sink in the end, while the Matoran were there, but instead was just about completely destroyed in a huge super-volcano eruption. A few more Matoran escaped when messangers were sent back to Kataaraka. One summer night, years after the Matoran had disovered Kataar-Nui, six pods fell from the sky. The first pod, which was covored in a dying green flame, rolled to the feet of a Onu-Matoran named Fohan. Shocked by the huge pod's heat, Fohan stepped back a few paces. The pod slid open gently and green smoke hissed out of it. Suddenly, a tall green figure stood up, and took out a spear. "I am Toa Zanga!" He bellowed. "I come to potect-guard your island!" Zanga's spear gleamed in the light, and Fohan, shuddering, greeted him. Suddenly, Zanga was sent sprawling by another falling pod. This one was surrounded by an eerie black fire. Zanga stood up, wiping off some dust that was in the eyeholes of his mask. The pod's top slid off, just like Zanga's, and a black figure stood up, streched, and hopped out. He unsheathed a long, double bladed sword. "Ogar, you nearly murder-killed me!" Zanga cried. The figure turned around. "Well, now you ruined it, I could've made a nice introduction like you!" He chuckled. During that night, four more Toa arrived. The new Toa Kataar, Ogar of Earth, Nurala of Water, Zanga of Air, Konar of Ice, and Sorgan of stone, and Hargalta of Fire, were followed by parading Matoran. But the pair of gleaming eyes that watched them from behind a ridge new, the killing would now begin...
  15. *EYES BULGE* I wish they sold Imperial Guards in America like that! I'd easily buy one of those sets, had it been available still!
  16. MAHKIMETRU?! *wacko* Nah, silly typo. Thanks for the answers all, I better understand Lego Pirates now!
  17. Okay, thanks. I'll post pictures of my first pirate "MOC", a transportable cannon and a red coat soon.
  18. But why not an AT-ST for less money? You can always buy another AT-At, but think of a redesigned AT-ST. Second that, more!!!! The following is just ideas and not real: Blizzard Force $24.99 The AT-ST is on the march, enforcing the Imperial Blizzard Force's cruel reign of terror! Flanking it is the speedy speeder bike, and E-WEB blaster. Includes two Snowtroopers, two AT-ST drivers, speeder bike, AT-ST, and E-WEB blaster. and for all those thinking of the landing craft: Landing Craft $59.99 Launch a platoon of troopers with the Imperial Landing Craft! Find droids on Tatooine, or launchy an attack on Endor! Plus, create your own adventures and conquer the galaxy! With two speeder bikes, 10 troopers in all, plus a pilot, you're ready to destroy the Rebellion and win the war!
  19. Nice ideas, I signed! Sign on!
  20. Okay, my cousin gave me one, (minifig imperial), and I've got questions: Is it coincidence that they very closely resemble American and British soldiers from the 18th and early 19th centuries? What's the difference between the blue and red? What is their connection with the pirates, seeing as they are part of the pirates theme? Why is there a pirate in the gunbay of the flagship, and in loads of other places owned by Imperials? What do they have to do with islanders? Thanks!
  21. The icons and skin are wonderful! *y* Good job, try an EXF month next!
  22. Happy bday! Without you, the Tie Army would have no reason to hunt me down! *wacko*
  23. Well, I wasn't around here when they did them, but from what I know, they are months with forum events revolving around a certain theme.
  24. Since I don't recall posting in the other topic, I'll tell my thoughts here: I like the system sets and I might get a small one, but I think the knights megafigs will suit me best. I just love Dracus!
  25. Oh, cool! Oh and a question that has pushed me for a while, if you don't mind me asking, what is with you and the *wacko* sign? :$
