  1. Champions of the Golden Masks Kataar-Nui is the new center of Matoran life. It's been over 500 years since the race for the Mask of Life. Now, six more powerful masks hold the balance of Matoran life on the line. They are the Golden Kanohi Masks of the Toa Mata. They are hidden high above Kataar-Nui in the [/b]Temple of Champions on the towering summit of Mount Klojar. At the foot of this magnificent mountain is the Matoran Village. It is the main place where Matoran reside. Traders and merchants who bring in goods from Port Kataar sell here. In the center is the Nuva Memorial commerating the these great heroes, and inside of the memorial is the Turaga's Temple, where Jaller, Hahli, Hewkii, Nuparu, Kongu, and Matoro live. They are the Turaga, as they have outlived the previous Turaga. Now the Toa Kataar, Krelhi, Toa of Fire, Noorglar, Toa of Stone, Renlan, Toa of Earth, Genlar, Toa of Ice, Jenki, Toa of Water, and Aka, Toa of Water, are ready to protect these artifacts. But they will need the help of the United Matoran, a small army. And a ruthless mercanary, Raakal is on the loose and looking for these masks. You can play as one of Raakal's operatives or a United Matoran officer. Objective: United Matoran: Protect the masks at all costs. Raakal: Capture the masks and use them against the Matoran. Locations: Ga-Kataar-The northern region. It is full of waterfalls, a river, and dunes with dense tropical plants. Ko-Kataar-Towards the center of the island, this region is the home to the Kanohi Mountain Range, and Mount Klojar. Po-Kataar-The western region, this area is mostly desert, but also houses a beach, a storage house for the United Matoran, and is at the banks of the river. Le-Kataar-In the south, this region is known for its jungles and fertile soil. Domesticated Rahi originated in this area. Onu-Kataar-An underground village. It has few residents, but is home to a holy Suva Shrine. This region is along the eastern cost. Ta-Kataar-In the southeast, this region has no residents except for Trajji and his family. They and their ancestors are the greatest lava surfers and farmers next to the Toa of Fire himself. Matoran Village-This area is the home of the United Matoran, the Turaga and most of the Matoran. It is a center of trade. It is on the foot of Mount Klojar. Port Kataar-This is where imported items enter Kataar-Nui and where exported items leave. It is in Ga-Kataar. Temple of the Champions-It sits atop Mount Klojar. It is home to the Golden Masks and is the greatest temple on Kataar-Nui. Mount Klojar-The highest peak in Kataar-Nui, its snow-capped summit is home of the Temple of the Champions. 2. Thanks. Oh, incase you all were wondering, my new epic on BZPower in which Raakal is a villain is up now!
  3. Name: Raakal Tools: Twin AA7.2 ATTACK/ASSAULT, Survival Pack, Spybot, Flight: Jet Wings Armor: BlastPr00F 3007 SpyRobot: SPYB0TicA Customized Military Unit 3.0 INTELLIGANCE: 10/10 SPEED: 9/10 STRENGTH: 8/10 SURVIVAL: 9/10 AGILITY: 10/10 CLIMBING: 9/10 A cunning bounty hunter, Raakal has refused a total of seven-teen offers from the Dark Hunters, ten from the Brotherhood of Makuta; The Order of Mata-Nui even considered hiring him but they cancelled the offer. Raakal only works for himself and on occasion an old "friend". These friends are usually found dead a few weeks later, robbed of their valuables. His survival pack has enough rations to last Raalak for three months, three blankets, water, and fuel. His spiked armor makes him a sinister foe to all that oppose him. Raakal has a storehouse in an unknown region, about fourhundred miles west of Mata-Nui where he keeps his loot. None have entered this storehouse but himself. He currently is on a mission on Kataar-Nui, where he is searching for the Golden Great Masks, armor, and tools, of the long gone Toa Mata. 4. What I meant by "Would it kill them to lose one member." is that if GregF had to leave, would it hurth them so much? EB hasn't been sued, and we've done fine without Lego employees. The red has my name on it... *y*
  5. Well, BZP has described us as innaproppriette, etc. Plus they used to have EB on a links page, but they removed the links page. Please, BZP, if you lose one member, will it kill you?!?
  6. BZPower has trashed EB a few times. Now they're trashing Amazon.de! Lighten up, and let us fans post our pictures!
  7. Methinks I'll be getting Dekar and Thulox. Morak maybe, and the other Matoran for a Nidhiki MOC.
  8. Another Kanohi Related Update! Quest for the masks You will need Poster board Large Mask Image Scissors String Paste Print a very large picture of your favorite mask. Then put it over the poster board. Now cut out the paper over the poster board. Make sure to cut mouth and eye holes too! Take the cut out area of the board and paper and paste them to eachother. Poke holes at both middle ends of the mask and tie string through them. Now you've completed the quest for the masks! *skull* *skull*
  9. Each day, I will add a new fun thing. These are Bionicle related fun ideas for Halloween from costumes to recipes. Speeking of recipes, today's is one! Kanohi Mask Cookies You will need: Cookie Dough Jelly and/or Choclate Chips Vanilla Frosting Food Coloring Pictures for inspiration A cup Take the cup. Press down on a thin layer of dough. The imprint should be a circle. Now take out that handy inspiration sheet and mold the dough into a flat image of your favorite Kanohi mask. Make sure there are eye holes. Attach the dough-Kanohi to the circle and fill the empty space with jelly or choclate chips. Bake the cookies at 350 F. Then spread the frosting and add the food coloring for the masks color, or use colored frosting. More to come, have fun and post pictures if you use the ideas!
  10. Had Lego gone just one step further in the bad direction, it probably would have temporarily killed Bionicle and AAR's sales.
  11. Pros and cons, we need a chart! 2001 Pros New-Bionicle was new and introduced NEW concepts Mystery-The story was so mysterious, the island so unexplored, the tiki style/robotic future really mixed well Masks-No, not the rubber and soft plastic crud we get today, real masks with a collecting aspect Affordability-C'mon Lego, the Toa are freaking 10 bucks! And these Toa were $5.99 Technicishness-Real build. You didn't need to just connect two pieces to get a Titan Comics-Good then, good now, better artisrt then in my opinion Promo-This was sweet, masks in rare colors with real characters that had real playability Cons Articulation-Sorry, but this sucked. Seriously, can Tahu at least bend his legs?! Un-Affordability-Tell me again Lego, did you really expect kids to buy a set of Rahi? 2006 Pros Tiki Island-YES! No more stupid city! Launchers-Yes masks would be better, but the rapid fire launchers (no pun) really hit the spot! No Gears or action Features-Whoo, whoo, no wobbely arms *coughsidorakcough*! Affordibilitey-More affordable sets in the Titans area, and you can actually buy a set of villains and still have life savings Comics-New artist who draws stick figure Bionicles? Yep, but the writing has stayed the same Books-These are a great expansion to the story Story- No mystery really, but heck is it action packed Cons Masks-So many rubbery and reused masks, give me a break Promo- I liked it but it is still a disgrace standing next to a 2001 Tohunga Toa-Great sets as they are, I'd rather dish out six bucks for an un gimmicky Toa Untechnicalness-Ugh... Ball joints... Mystery-Gone is the mystery of 01-02, and it will never return I'm afraid...
  12. I haven't watched it in a while but there are other buuildings, yes. A boatload. Actually, ciome to think I did watcha recent episode and there's this city in a wall. I'm not a fan and don't know much besides that fire nation is bad, and the air bender is really really old.
  13. TOP STORY Inika fail to capture crap Rock Group. Press gives raving response! The Toa Inika were brought to court for a hearing today due to a complicated scandal between Hahli and Jaller (See page 13). When the AAR rescue mission became the topic of discussion, Matoro commented on the fact that Thok had accidentely beheaded AAR while cooking a TV dinner. The judge forgot his worries and gave the Inika candy. People commented today "Heaven will have a headache I'm afraid." EBNews also commented that several wars ended in correspondance with the AAR's death. "We couldn't decide who should kill the AAR and started fighting." One world leader said. What does this say to Lego? I'm not sure, but next years Knight's Kingdom slogan "Defend the Castle Save Simon and Garfunkel." :-P
  14. Now if these were plastic, they'd cost a lot less.
  15. Yes, but MFs are less then 2 in high. Also account for the entire volume of the maquette.
  16. you know what would be awesome. If when you remove the giant mf's heads, there were loads of minifigure Stormtroopers inside.
  17. The MTT was in ep 3 in the hanger scene behind the Super Battle Droids that walk into the hanger.
  18. You know what would be cool, a Nightwing subtheme! And a Justice League Subtheme. Ahhh, I can dream...

  23. Ah, but the BK didn't at all resemble their toy components and could not be moved. These are better.
  24. Hey, let's be glad they didn't do something stupid like the BK toys.
  25. I went to McDs today and got Hahli in my Mighty Kids Meal and bought Jaller sperately. I'll be reviewing Jaller. THE BAG The Bag The bag is a small polybag. It shows Jaller's symbol from the Free the Band game and the Inika logo. The back is clear. The bag for the 2001 Tohunga was nicer, but this is just as cool. OPEN THE BAG The contents Just what I expected. Three disks with Jaller on front and Voya-Nui and the Inika logo on the back. It also contains a poster and instructions on how to shoot the disk. Poster top front, Poster front bottom, and poster back. THE TOY Toy Front Toy back. The action feature works nicely and the articulation is okay for a McDs toy. The paint job is great and the detailing is pretty good. He's nice to take around with you. Definately not a Mctoran, but not a Burger King piece of crud. OVERALL What I expected. I saw loads of kids playing with their toys there, so if this helps sales, then I'm all for it. A great toy. Rating 7.5/10 Awwww. Mcnika and real Jaller are friends!
