  1. But the promotion just boosts Lego's apperences!
  2. Good game, wierd characters!
  3. Guys, he's got a Kadin! Big deal, Kongu had a miru and so did Lewa! Same head can still mean differences in the Bionicle world. And Kahgarak is right. Titan sized would not work!
  4. But Lego did not intend these toys for 11-18 year olds! The McToran were great and all,a nd these will never replace them! But what are we booing for? None of us even own them yet! So wait until we judge! "These are like the BK toys!" Do me a favor and look at the BK toys again. These are way better!
  5. Realize this is to get new fans. Kids don't care really if it's one piece or seven pieces. It's no excuse for Lego, but it doesn't matter for the TARGET AUDIENCE. Seven year olds! Plus the 2001 Tohunga sets were real sets because they were new characters that could easily be made from pieces that could be cheaply mass-produced. There are no new characters small enough to qualify for Happy Meals. The features are pretty cool, and the kids will probably go to their parents, "Hey Mom, this is awesome! It's like Lego Blocks and if this is cool, imagine the real toy!" So if you all don't want Bionicle to get new fans and give it a bettter chance of dying, that's your opinion. Remember, Happy Meals weren't made for 15-30 year olds! They're made for little kids! ;-)
  6. Bricklink too. *sweet*
  7. And I made it! Graphics and stuff are going to be added soon! Aqua Raiders
  8. They're okay. I hope you can pose thema little. Maybe they'll be compatible like the new playset figures.
  9. I was sad when I heard this. Good job Yoda! PS: A question about this incident that I'm not sure of, what exactly happened to the sting ray? Did they get the barb out of his chest?
  10. While MB is almost complete crud, we can't keep bashing them. First, here's a little Lego History: Ole Kirk bought the snap and lock block idea from another person. Secondley, Lego should learn a bit from MB, it has loads and loads of megaminifigures, and some pretty cool concepts. I was once given an MB robot set for my birthday. It was definately not Lego, but it was okay. Lego put quality first. With MB it's a bit flimsy, but it's okay. So I'm going to brave all, go over there and explain the feud between the two toys! I love Lego, and hate MB, but not with all my heart, so much that I'd hate MB fans too!
  11. You must be new to Bionicle. :-) For MOCing, I suggest you buy a Titan or large set. However, all sets are good for MOCing.
  12. Review: Dino Pod Well, I'm currently on vacation, and I thought "Well VM, this is the perfect time to get that Dino Pod you've been wanting!", and after getting some pocket money out, I purchased the pod. It's my first pod since the Arachno Pod in 2005. This is my favorite Pod out of the many I've owned in the past (Aero(number 1), Wild, Black Robo, and Arachno). Now to start my review, the package is a new idea. I think it is very attractive but too easily robbed from. Besides for that the package is durable, and easily reused, The Pod itself is a bit dissapointing. Just a basic clear middle and lime green top andand bottom. The lime green is good, but seeing as the other pods have colored clear middles, I'm sort of, well, not as pleased as I could be. Traveling with the pod is easy. I can take off the limbs of the dinos put them in the pod and slip it into my pocket. Then at the hotel, I can spill out the contents and snap the limbs back on the body. Now for the models themselves. As the most distinguished part of the set. I'll start off with my favorite, the raptor. Raptor: Building this guy was easy, but not <insert that tiresome argument> or too simple. There's not much more to say about building the model except that the quality of the intructions' paper sucks. It rips easily when folded. Why, Lego? Why? Once the raptor was built, I began to play with him like crazy. The articulation is great, but the pin that attaches his legs is attached a bit loose, but otherwise there is no flaw to playing with this model. The Raptor stands sturdily and can be posed in all different ways. 9/10 Horned Dino The build is probably the most enjoyable part of this model. Besides, for the fact that the instructions sucked, he was just so satisfying to build, I wouldn't mind taking him apart again and again just to build him. This Dino looks awesome besides for its wide hips. Its articulaton isn't that great, but this Dino is still worth playing with. 8/10 Roller The build, like the Horned Dino is very fun. I don't see what's to hate about the rollers. Except for the fact that it's hard to stand them up, they are as enjoyable to play with as the other two models. They looks not onyl cool, but cute in an odd way. I with they really could roll... 8/10 Overall: 8.3/10
  13. Hmm... Revolution British and American Troops French Soldiers German Soldiers At least two ships Crossing the Deleware Boat 1812 would be awesome! Think about it! fort McHenry! British Flagdships! Civil War USS Moniter! Confederate Troops might be a tad contriversial, seeing as they were all for prejiduce and slavery...
