My birthday is coming up and I wanted to order off of bricklink. I showed my dad the site to get his approval. But them he gave me this speech on how much shipping costs . He said it would cost us a hundred dollars just to ship a 1.57$ over here. So I was wondering, how much on average does shipping on BL cost?

They're not THAT dumb. They might either Google it, or realize that an L on a Lego sight, obviously means Lego.

One of my Greatest fears is that if Lego.com shuts down for a few days for maintenance, a bunch of 9 year olds will think it's "broken," and they'll migrate to EB, and turn it into something like Rome during it's final days. Except instead of Barbarians plundering villages and killing the men and "having their way" with the women, it will be a bunch of little kids spamming up topics with their bad grammar and bad MoCs! And the pirates life is awesome. I would prefer drinking the days away rather than being shipped to Europe or the west indies just to be shot by a french Canon!

It's depends on your point of view. On one hand the pirates kidnapped the governors daughter, but on the other hand the imperials are always portrayed as the bad guys in the comics. And on the Lego message boards, they aren't even talking about real Lego, they're just playing those dumb role playing games. I wanted to see if the kids would prefer Romans or Greeks as a replacement for castle, and all is saw was stuff like "Castle Cafe," "Castle role play 3," and "If you were a Castle knight?" Really? Are they serious, they could be playing with real Lego, or at least join a kids role play forum instead.

A robo, a robot hobo

That seems pretty jerkish. Just dress up in a costume, sit out on your front porch really still holding a candy bowl, and when the kids get close enough, flinch and make a sound. That is the scariest thing you can do.

I'm not going this year. Halloweens become too commercialized. Last year though, as a last minute costume, I went as Canada's current Prime minister. I made my hair silver with one of those color spray cans, put on my dad's sweater vest (it had for on the left hand corner, so I covered it by pinning on a piece of paper that said "Stephen Harper, P.M ) and I was set. Don't you mean a Robo?

It is just amazing how a twenty page kids book made an entire hour and forty minute movie. I wont see it though. Looks to commercial
