Avatar! I loved it! I saw it in 3D today, and I was blown away! It had everything: Action, good plot, villains, Hero's, Nearly Naked tribal girls, giants mechs, nearly naked tribal girls, giant flying lizards, nearly naked tribal chicks, Magic trees, and did I mention nearly naked tribal girls? I would recommend it to most people! A LEGO license could work... in theory. But lest we forget that it had a crap load of violence (Way more than Indy and Star Wars put together), and as I said before: So that might be a problem. Also, there was a plot that was to sophisticated for most 9 and 10 year olds. But, if TLG could get passed that, than it would be awesome!

No it would not work. We still need to remember that LEGO's main demographic is children. And I don't think kids are interested in architecture and philosophy.

I wasn't sure where to put this topic Today I made a custom LEGO nutcracker fig out of the new imperial admiral torso, the admiral's head, a shako, white legs and a white rubber band. And I was wondering, has anyone else done anything like this? If so, post pics. Sorry I can't post mine. I'm using my camera for Brickfilming, and my mom wont let me use hers.

Does anybody know anything about the Achaemenid Empires army. I've looked on the internet, and didn't get much.

On Thursday, I was at this thing at my school called think bowl. And we were in a room where the special need kids would usually be during normal school time. I noticed some LEGO in the corner, and as it turned out, it was classic! There was an Astronaut, a Fabuland guy, and a Forestman. Turns out, they belonged to the teacher, Mr. Alguire's kids. He said that he gave a huge box to another teacher (who I thinks gone) and says if he finds more, he know where to forward them! Has that ever happened to you?

I was wondering, what are you EB member Favorite Bands and Artists, and what are your favorite genres? I prefer classic rock myself. My favorite bands are The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Queen and Rush, as well as some assorted songs from essorted bands. Like the talking heads, the who, Don Henley and The rolling stones.

I love the looks of these prelim figs. I'm now considering making a Persian army with these guys.
