  1. Almost half an year later, here I am again...... Sorry, but the last year was a bit full of work and I could not be as active here as I would like to... I used dark blue, not a light efect! ;) For the windows' arches I used 1x2 plates with cheeses... The technic isn't new at all... I didn't come with that by my own! And thanks for the nice comments!
  2. I saw it live at the last Tomar LEGO Fan Event, and it was fantastic! So... 7 points to Evildead!
  3. This was built with the only-one-photo purpose, so that in the box was only not to let it "empty"! Thanks a lot, everyone! ;)
  4. Last year, I entered in Mini Castle Contest IV with two simple entries and one of them was 2nd runner up (Vulcano Miniland)! This year I couldn't let it without one entry at least, so here it is the first one! More photos at MOCpages. Hope you and they like it! ;D
  5. Hi everyone! It's been some time since my last visit, but not always there's time for everything! But I've been building... These days, I've been building for contests. This time, for LUSOlympics (a slightly different version of MOCOlympics between my LUG and Brasilian LUG), I had to build something related to Tintin's Adventures... Well, I never realy liked those cartoons, so I was thinking... searching in web... And then a friend of mine suggested me to do Milou, the dog! And I loved the idea! But I didn't have white plates/bricks enough to make it complete, so I had to "hide" it! ;D Hope you like it!
  6. Hi there!! Welcome! I'm from Portugal too, as LBaixinho! I also belong to Comunidade0937! Stop by there! ;)
  7. Thanks a lot, both of you!! Well, I've already dismantled this in order to build a bigger version, but it's turning into something completely different!! I don't even know if it will still be a cinema or a museum! It has the same color scheme, some of the same architectural details, but will be quite bigger and detailed.... And it will have interiors!! That's one of the things that I love doing the most! Anyway, it will take some time till I finish it..... It's one of my projects for next year TOMARLEGO! ;)
  8. I just wanted to do a non-standard-minifig Alice.... And that was a solution that I liked! I was not that exigent with myself with this MOC because it was just for the contest... Maybe if I worked harder I would found a different and better way to do Alice.... Maybe..... Anyway, thanks for the comments!
  9. Here is my last creation: a small MOC created for a "find-the-differences" game for a contest that I'm co-organizing within my LUG. It is clearly inspired by the Alice in Wonderland universe... More photos at BL or MOCpages. Hope you like it! ;)
  10. I've already commented this creation at our forum, anyway.... Well done!! ;) Love the hair too! And again: good luck for the contest!
  11. Yeah.... Now things are ok! ;) Thanks EDIT: Well, I just checked and Pedro (aka El_gordo) is actually registered here, though he never posted....
  12. He may has forgotten someone but there's a huge mistake too!! Conchas is not a Comunidade0937 member anymore, for a while ago! And Pedro Silva isn't definitly him! Pedro Silva is known by the nick "El_gordo", but I don't know if he is even registered here... Please, correct that as soon as possible!
  13. Hi, Teddy! You made an excellent work but after so many nice comments, there's not much left to say! I simply love the color scheme and the tan windows, though they may seem a little out of it at first, I really like it too!! And many thanks to you reference of my cinema a few posts ago! :) It's very kind of you!
  14. Great work! I love all the details you put in it! I had already seen some photos of it in BrickWorld, but now I can pay more attemption to the details.... And they're really great!! Congratz! P.S. Love the color scheme....
  15. Nice Police Station! That modern style looks great! Love the transparent tower with the starts too!
  16. Well.... I tried it! And tried much more! I almost left the car "naked"! Soon as I get some free time, maybe i'll try to build the V2! ;)
  17. I used a simple white cardboard with cellophane at the bottom, where the car lands. It was the first time I used this technique, but for small MOCs it's very cool!
  18. No, unfortunately not! For the event it didn't need it, but I would love to create a really BIG and FULL of details in and outside theatre! But that would take so much parts.... And I don't have then, for now........... But I'm considering to build another building like this one, with interiors..... Many ideias are being studied for the next 3rd TOMARLEGO!
  19. The sign isn't on the wrong side, it's just turned to the back! But, watching it by the front, it really seems to be wrong...... I know that........... I just thought that the facade had so many details that the back deserved better to have the sign! Thanks everyone! ;)
  20. The facade. Many people are waiting to see their idols walking on the red carpet! The back. A big sculpture of an ancient woman attracts many tourist..... and thiefs..... Many more details at MOCpages, click here. See ya! ;)
  21. Yeah.... next year....... who knows!?
  22. Yes, I was trying to get some kind of striped shadow effect, but it didn't go very well! I have much to learn yet! I loved to join this Pirates Display Crew! As soon as I can, I'll rebuild everything I took to TOMARLEGO and I'll share it here with you! Thanks!
  23. And I've already tried it........... But didn't get good results! In fact, the construction is too heavy for the base!
  24. These are just the bigger set wheels (8184)! So there can't be any problem with that! Tomorrow I'll try it with new batteries and maybe do a movie! Later I'll post it here.... Thanks!
  25. This is an experience I made yesterday with the few parts I have at home... (almost all my stuff is still in Tomar, where our 2nd TOMARLEGO has taken place). I used the new IR car base from the Turbo RC new sets. Still don't know if it moves ok, 'cause my batteries went low before I tried it. Maybe it won't have power to move, but it's nice even though, right? I loved to do my first "big" car! Hope you like it too!
