  1. Did anyone noticed how the skier is looking right to Pamela (lifeguard) in this photo? ;D
  2. Some people were asking me how I did the columns, mainly the top of it. So here are some pictures. I hope they can help you to understand how I built it. ;)
  3. No, I used only two... The way I did the entrance and the stairs, coundn't be other way.... And I believe it looks good! ;) Thank you, Teddy!
  4. Oh... thanks!! I just saw it right now!
  5. Wow... Thank you so much for such nice comments! I don't know what to say..... I would really like to have you here, so be our guests! ;) And Shadow, thanks a lot for the highlightning of the WIP and for refering the event! ;)
  6. Hi! I haven't been building much latety, but once in a while I have to go upstairs and work on something, because my LUG's Big Anual Event is coming and I need to have everything ready for it! Now, besides inviting you all to come to Portugal to visit us and our great event, I want to show you some pictures (only two, for now) of my biggest MOC ever! It's fully detailed, with interiors and a wide open back to see all the magnificence of an Ancient Lady..... It's still a wip, and it will be premiered in a month at ARTE em PEÇAS LEGO® Fan Event. I'd really apreciate if you could help us promoting the event, by spreading the banners we have in the oficial site. I've created the artwork of the event, so be my guest and share it everywere you can to as many people as possible! ;) If you need any particular information to help you to speak about the event, just let me know! Thanks in advance! ;) Here you have some details of the event: It will take place in Paredes de Coura - north of Portugal, between 7th and 13th of June. We believe we will host the biggest and better LEGO event in the country, as in the past two years. You all are very welcome! Cheers, Marcos Bessa
  7. Hi! You're too young in here, so you can't use PM's for now.... But I need your e-mail to send you the LDD file! If you don't mind to post it here.......
  8. Excellent work! Thanks for the time you all have dedicated to it! Let's just hope that those suggestion may one day (soon) be a reality!
  9. Thank you, everyone! ;)
  10. Thank you all for the nice comments! ;) Since I've returned from my darkage, I've always wanted to build something with this color scheme. And I'm very proud of the result! :)
  11. Hi, fellows! ;) I've not been building much, cause I don't have much time free with college.... But this week I "finished" a new MOC. Here is my... Lionheart Villa You can see more photos at Flickr. I said "finished", because It's not the final version (forget the fact that I run out of 2x2 Dark Bley tiles...). I will work on it again in the future, but for now its done...
  12. Thanks a lot!! Well, I know that there will be some sweet stuff later at home, but I don't know what... And I'm quite sure it wont be LEGO related (the food and the presents).... My parents believe that I already spend too much on buying it to even receive LEGO as present.... And Happy Birthday to the others too! ;)
  13. Thanks! There are many other great creations, but we couldn't have them all.... Maybe on a second serie....
  14. A few weeks ago, I finally started working on an idea I had been thinking of for some time, almost since I first knew the moo.com and its services... So I spent some hours on my LUG's MOCs Gallery and then in photoshop, and a deck of 54 colorful cards came out... :) I've ordered 36 units of it at moo.com and they arrived already. Now I'm just waiting for our trip to Billund to give to my friends their decks! We will play so much in this trip!! (or not! lool.... I believe some won't ever play with it! They will just keep it safe and stear at it! ) You can see images of each card in this set of flickr. There are MOCs from many of our builders, some of the best creations... There are also some of my MOCs in it, obviously! Just two examples: Check it and tell me what you think! I believe this is a good way to show a bit of what we (Portuguese Comunidade0937) can do! You too can make your own deck, with creations of your LUG, or only with your own creations! Your truly own deck! If you're too lazy, you can contact me and I can work on a deck for you.... We just need to discuss the price! P.S. If this isn't the right board for this topic, just move it, please! Thanks! ;)
  15. Well, first of all thanks a lot to everyone for all these nice comments! About the LDD file, anyone that would like to build this model or just look at it in a "different" angle, PM me with your e-mail. Thanks also to TheBrickster for the "frontpaging" of this digital moc! ;) I would definitly love to build this with real bricks and I'll try to! But now it's impossible, cause I'm working on two different "town" mocs and both are requiring a lot of investment! After these two, I'll try to build this Villa Maison and I'll certainly will try to add it some nice interios... So no, it doesn't have any now.... It's not that easy to build on LDD, and after this big building, I was full of it! Curiously I'm also working on LDD to project another quite big MOC (biggest I'd ever thought about building...), but about this it will take much more time till I can tell anything more concrete. Cheers!
  16. No, the rendering process is too slow, so I just have this front main image..... If I ever built it, maybe I'll take some good photos and draw the complete art work for the box! ;) Haven't you seen it at flickr went I uploaded the first "fake set" photo? Or at brickshelf when I did a first experience with the color scheme and the window design? (I've already deleated that photo from brickshelf...) Anyway, thank you guys! ;)
  17. Hi there! Some weeks ago, I made a joke at flickr..... :P But didn't long much, cause I was caught soon!! Now I can finally present this digital MOC with a good rendered image. I have to thank to my friend Biczzz who had an incredible patience with me... He made all the changes I asked him to do from de original LDD model to the Ldraw version.... The render is awesome and this creation of mine has finally a good "photo"! I built this in LDD and it costs almost 400€ by LEGO Design By Me!! Yes..... I didn't buy it! If there's anyone that would like to build it in actual bricks, just ask for the LDD model! ;) I would love to see real photos of it!
  18. Hi, guys! ;) Today I had to build something for a new challenge at my LUG. We are having the 6th Edition of our "Big Game" with many different challenges and daily questions about LEGO... So this time we had to build a miniland fig and, if we wanted to, a scenario or a "context" for it... And I built this snooker! I have one at home but don't use it much..... Until a month ago, it was my workspace for LEGO..... As you can see here: (my grandparents helping me separating parts..... ) But lets show the creation: You can see more photos and details at flickr! See you! ;)
  19. Great details you put in there! Congratz! ;) I particularly love the color scheme.... In fact, I'm a big fan of dark colors....
  20. It's super cool! Totally recognisable and what a simply but brilliant built! We could have a Karts Race at our next big event with a big track and lots of nice stuff around it, just like the game.... what do you say, Rupi?
  21. No... I didn't though about any other vehicle yet... We were working on some much more "dynamic" ideas, but I can't tell nothing more..... But I shall take some time untill my next adventure in Jurassic Park world... I have my big museum on hands!
  22. Hey, guys.... Thanks!! This is a prototype for a project within my LUG (Comunidade0937). We wanted to build it to our next big event: Tomar LEGO
  23. I know it's a Ford Explorer, but I started to call it a Jeep, cause in Portugal that's what we call to these kind of cars, and now I can't name it any other way! This is a prototype of what I want to use in a future community project. I'm not authorized to tell much about it... :) More photos, at Flickr.
  24. Yeah, a friend of mine from Comunidade0937 told me about the highlight at Classic-town! Thanks!
  25. Hi there! It's been a long time since my last visit here... I have been full of work at college, so it has been difficult to get time to build and participate in every foruns... But here I am again, with my latest creation for a contest in my lug. I have very few red parts, and much of them are very specific, so it was quite difficult to use the Fabuland car base... But I've been wanting to build something with that for so long! You can check all the details in my new flickr gallery!
