  1. I'd just like to say thanks to ApophisV, DoubleT, Jipay, Jonfett,Sam89, Vader316 and Xwingyoda for making this such a great forum. It's safe without being overly strict and fun without being anarchy. In other words, it rocks compared to some other rubbish forums. So post your thanks to the dedicated staff at Eurobricks! And tell me if i've forgotten anyone really important.
  2. It's so annoying that they revealed that Jean Grey survived already, i thought it'd be a big surprise in the cinema.
  3. Very good, it looks alot more like a ship, as you can see the inner workings and the like as they are more visible.
  4. As i just got Dengar in the Slave 1, i thought about new models. Here is Dengar's speeder, it is meant to be after the crash(a speederbike incident with Han Solo), he has regained his confidence, and has bulit a new Speederbike, for racing and rampage. The Field

The Twist is.... Sensei does not actually kill the Samurai, the Samurai commits suicide cause he can neither see his field perish, or kill his teacher(that's what Sensei means in japanese for those not in the know ;-) )
  6. Nice, very nice.
  7. I think i've kind of given up on this story,(someone can close this topic now) it's kind of hard thinking up new scenenarios, but in the meantime, check out my (finished) 'The Field' short story i just put up here.

    The Field

This is a story i wrote for an english assignment: Short Story with a twist. See if you can spot the twist. This story has recieved the stamp of approval from my good friend, Lord Thrawn. The Field They only ever see a shadow; his presence was always masked by the darkness. If they even felt him, they dismissed it as the wind, brushing the plants past them. The Field was vast, so he had a large area to hide in, but despite his muscular figure and bulking armour, he moved as swift as the wind itself, almost as if he had become one with it. There was only one reason the man did this, he had been trained to. He was a Samurai. No one knew his real name, as a matter of fact; no one knew anything about him. The Samurai was so careful to avoid detection, that if anyone ever saw him, they would only know that about him; that he was a Samurai. The silent warrior had nothing but that. His own silence, he had not spoken for years. He had no relatives, no friends and no life. That is, unless you think about the field. The crisp, clean cut crop of grain. Every day, from sunrise to sunset, he would patrol the field, with military precision. The Samurai returned to his secluded house in the centre of the field. Once again, a day with no disturbances. He hung his armour up behind the door, except for his sword. His sword was the soul of his warrior ship, and if he ever removed it from his person, it was considered disrespectful among the entire culture. As he lay upon his simple straw bed (as a samurai, he only had simple pleasures, and comfort did not necessarily have to be one of them) he caught a glimpse of something, something that only his trained eye could see. He dropped to the floor, then pressed his back against the wall, so as not to be seen. He moved slowly to the door, pulled it ajar to listen. The intruder was good, that was for sure, but he had failed already. The Samurai whipped around, grabbed the spy by the arm, and thrust him onto the cold floor.
  9. American Pie: The Wedding, a very funny film. And for once, a good sequel.
  10. I saw the smallest of the Dino 2010 sets today in Woolies, and bought it, it's quite a nice little set, apart from the fact there are no proper weapons. The Quad has a great construction.
  11. Yay! Thanks Apo, it's nice of you to use my MOC too, thanks very much, now when i make future creations, they will be viewable to you guys with slow computers. :-P
  12. That looks so cool. I wish i had the time/money, but alas i do not, i'll just have to make do. It's a great project, kudos to the guy who did it.
  13. This game is gonna be so good, it has the potential to be one of the greatest Star Wars games ever.
  14. My Slave 1 arrived today. It rules, one of the best Lego sets EVER! If TLC keeps up the standard, then the Sail Barge and ISD will blow me away.
  15. I've talked about this on the forum previously, but i need a Chewbacca and C-3PO. I'm still trying to suade my dad into signing up for Bricklink, so i need your help. If any of you have a spare Threepio or Chewie, then it would be appreciated. I don't have too much to trade, but if you have any requests, then don't hesistate to ask, just don't expect too much. PM me if you can help me out, then we can negotiate...

    Hey

If you want the full story behind my name, my last name begins with an M, and when my dad signed me up to the lego website (when i was young) he put that as my Username.
  17. Star Wars V:Empire Strikes Back-The Best of the Saga. I also watched American Pie 2 earlier in the week, very funny.
  18. Very nicely done, you capture the feeling of the scene very well. I thought this would always be difficult to do in Lego, as there's only a limited amount of emotion you can get. But the positioning works very well, but i think it might work a bit better as an MOC than a Vignette, as then you can see the oblivious Jedi battling as the Clones recieve the order. It's a great idea that could be developed.
  19. Sorry i have no idea how to resize pics.
  20. I'm not sure whether this counts, but here it is anyway. This is the L-TAU (Lightwieght Terrestrial Artillery Unit). The Robots felt that they needed to get one up on the humans, so this Artillery Unit (designed by Meca One himself) is now deployed (in large numbers) at some distance from the battlefield, in order to wear down the human front before close combat. L-TAU Ready for battle.
  21. Very nice, i really like that. I can't wait to see the finished product. Keep up the good work.
  22. I'm not an Xbox fan either Kiku, Nintendo is the only true games company, they actually think about what will be a good gaming experience, not just earning money.
  23. I've got 2 i can give up, but i'd prefer a trade. Any Stomtroopers? Actually, any Classic Star Wars mini fig would be appreciated.
  24. I've just got a bargain 6209 Slave 1 off Ebay.
  25. I think the PS3 could be Sony's fall from the top of the console market, they'll lose so many fans if the console costs that much. Make way for the Revolution!
