Any time. I think we all just want to figure this out. Except for the serial killer I think we should search Rexie's belongings and room - in addition to finding out more about the missing bullet, he also said he knew about the treasure, and I think we should know more about it, even if it's just to understand Baker. Also, it'd give me a sense of closure.
-
I'll just get a quick word in with Sarge Johnson at the moment.
-
Because he had some unfinished business at the university, or because he had hired you and knew you might be suspicious that a guest was inhabiting a manor with multiple locked doors and the host was nowhere to be seen? Speaking of the weeks before we got here, can you remind me about your prior time at Mafstraw? Things like, when did you get here? Did you ever encounter Faisser/Rudy/anybody face-to face?
-
That would've been Rudy writing the note - if he captured and stowed Faisser in the basement, than he would have been doing Faisser's correspondence to keep up the charade. The only person I think Faisser killed was Rudy.
-
Who, Faisser or Rudy? Okay, I'm game either way. Tell me who the killer is [or why you don't think either of them is a killer].
-
I really hope it won't take Mata Nui [unless he's some sort of unimaginable idiot] ten pages to find a 40-million foot robot.
-
Florence, did you try and block the Father last night? Also, since Lord Faisser is missing, there's a treasure hidden somewhere, and we never got to explore the whole house, I think we should either all enter the basement or have another crack at the door to the second floor.

The final hero should logically be Takanuva or [comedy option] Vezon.

Sor-ray! I guess I'm uncomfortable about lawyers touching me, is all! And I have no idea why the Father thinks I punched him in the gut - I may point out, though, that he has never directly accused me, and what we know of his reaction last night seems to point a bit more toward Florence's rather vehement method of blocking people, although it seems to have had no effect. Just clarifying, his reaction to being punched in the gut.

The man who killed Rudy is Faisser. He had an axe - Faisser mentioned in the part of the journal we had read that he found an axe. He yelled "GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!" - this is his house.
-
So, did Faisser go back in and take it with him to wherever he went? Why did you grab my ankle, again? I trust you, here. I'd like to take Johnson's bullet from him and give him the empty pistol. Florence, I realize we're all just trying to stay safe, and it's more than likely, almost normal by this point to be paranoid, but it's become readily apparent you have a hidden agenda against Baker. You say you poisoned Baker on the first night to throw off the killer, but the first person to die was only found the morning after that first night. So, why did you poison him so readily?
-
I'm sure there's more in store for us. Beyond the treasure Baker so madly wants, I bet that we'll find something on the top floor that will turn someone new into a stark raving serial killer

*deep breath* At the beginning of yesterday, we had eight suspects, Florence. You, me, Rudy, the Father, Morrison, Athranhart, Baker, and Johnson. One of those was the night killer, who killed Rexie, Jimmy, Lord Gregor, as well as imprisoned Faisser. All this is confirmed by one line from the journal - "I heard him kill another last night, and then another this morning." He says another to refer to Jimmy, because he had most likely mentioned Gregor's death in a prior entry we hadn't read. From those eight, I whittled down the suspects. The killer is repeatedly described as male - it's not you or me. The killer said "Now I'm getting out of here and as far away from danger as possible." I believe this meant he would get away from where he had trapped Faisser. This means it's most likely not Baker, the Father, or Morrison. Then, in the journal, Johnson and Athranhart were mentioned by name, meaning it wasn't them, as entries that mention them also mention the killer - logically, Faisser would just have said "So-and-so tied me up then whatever" if it was one of them. This leaves Rudy. But, I have more. - Faisser did most definitely kill Rudy - the journal mentions him finding an axe, which is the murder weapon. - The object that Rudy took from Rexie's corpse was his bullet, as we gave him the gun out of the people we had tied up then. It's almost good that he died when he did, as he was armed by this point. We should track down his gun. - Rudy being the killer is supported by the fact that he is the one hit by the knife thrown from the kitchen - Faisser was friends with Athranhart and Johnson, and deliberately aimed it at his jailer. - Lord Faisser blocked off the basement, as he would have probably thought that Rudy would go down to hide evidence. - Tying back into that picture of a Lucy, Rudy was more than old enough to be implicated with that.
-
I don't think that that's necessary - it's evident Faisser killed Rudy, and it makes sense that he was the night killer who took out Jimmy and Rexie - otherwise, he would have struck again. I have more reasoning as to why Rudy was the killer, if anyone would like to hear at some point. With some volunteers, I would like to search the main floor and basement [if we find a light] for Lord Faisser, and try and talk to him. If we go into the basement, we should also retrieve and read the entirety of Faisser's journal.

OLD Mafia and Mystery Games Index
hewkii9 replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Looking at the index, shouldn't the Mystery Game section be updated? MOTEE has finished [and is missing most chapter links], and Mafstraw Manor is still listed as just 'Summer 2009 - Zepher'. -
Morrison, you're remembering it wrongly - I slapped someone, not punched them in the stomach [i also figured out that I had slapped Baker, afterwards]. I'm sorry for not bawling like I did when I lost my Rexie. He was just one in a long line of university teachers, it was strange to see him here, it was strange the way events around him transpired, and it's strange he died so soon.
-
Ooh my. Rudy's dead. That throws all my theories out the window, for now. If the night killer who struck Jimmy acts again...I don't know. We should try and figure out what the deal is with Lord Faisser, and if we can get him on our side.

It's okay, think of it as just building the suspense -

Look, Father, men of God are unlikely assailants, but we're all unlikely here. In my head, I expressly wished to be kept safe from you - I trust Morrison, and I didn't think Baker would attack me. Then I fought off an attack from someone. Of course, Baker's face is red, I see now, so either one of you could have attacked me. Why? -
I'm planning on going as a Reaper [from inFamous], Sheldon Cooper, or Jerry Seinfeld. Can't decide, though.
