I'm sorry if someone has mentioned this before, but one of my redcoats has a darker shade of red on it's torso, and like plenty of other people, one of my pirates has a lighter green shade. These I got from standard sets. I hope this is just a small fad.

Why did they not add epaulettes, and add tricorns instead of shakos? Now they look more like revolutionary soldiers. I hope I have 8 extra blue epaulettes...

I hope they make a equivalent of this in the new line.

Same here, but it would be better but if 60 of them were bluecoats, and 60 of them redcoats, and the redcoats were besieging a huge bluecoat fort. Then, just to include them, add 10 Spaniards. I want ships to have more than one decks, it seems Lego always has wimpy 1-deck Ships. I also want Redcoats, Bluecoats, and Spaniards in the same year(s). But then that way they would have to get rid of the "good guys" mentality.

I didn't notice any photo-shopping. Maybe I just don't have a eye for this stuff.

This is beautiful, of all the ships I've seen, this is the best looking! It may not be the mightiest or strongest, but it is very well built, and I love the cabin.

This is definitely Lego set quality. This is BETTER than the standard Lego set quality, down to the removable and detachable sections. Now all you need is a couple of stupid pirates that think they can infiltrate the base.

I doubt any stores will have them this early, but I probably will buy them later: 1x Tic Tac Toe 1x Battle Pack 1x Advent Calender I don't care for the useless key chains and shirts.

Can't they rebuild it? Normally if it was that big of a attraction they would. It's kind of a huge coincidence that when Captain Green Hair started on his ship the replica went up in flames a few days later. I bet he did it so people would admire his ship more! But really, they should rebuild it.

Great add-ons! With a fort like that, the set would go beyond a hundred dollars. Unless each one was sold separately.

I like the ship a lot! It's different from most other ships as it's not a gigantic ship of the line.

You know your a Lego fan when... You go on a expedition in your house to look for old pieces you lost during your dark age. (I lost so many Lego pieces because of my dark age, including lots of pieces from some of the most classic Star Wars sets) You have a dream that your Lego sets arrive, than you become depressed that there's still 2 more days left until they come. You find a random Lego treasure chest on the floor of your laundry room when you bend over to pick up a shirt that fell. ( It still had gems and coins in it!) You stop your nephews from noticing your Lego room to the best of your ability, If they already know, you STOP them from touching your bricks to the best of your ability. ( One of them kicked my Soldier's Fort)

I know about the fort, I was talking about the ship in the background. Your new post didn't help clarify at all, because I was trying to say that a darkened ship tells nothing about whether it's Redcoat or if it's a sign that a new ship will be sold soon. So naturally, I assumed that you were talking about something else, because I don't know why you think that it means anything ( Not trying to be mean).

I picked the Black Seas Barracuda simply because it has a larger crew and it looks like it could take more damage. I have had the BB for a while now, and I know for sure that it's skinny and unstable enough that one cannonball to the mainmast could take it down.

Can you further clarify, I looked through the second manual for the fort, and all I found for a Redcoat Ship was the darkened ship behind the island for the background/concept art of Brickbeard's Bounty.

I buy all my pirates and other sets online. It's cheaper, has a wider selection, but the only downside is that I have to wait until they arrive instead of having them right in my hands. At the store I went to, they had impulse sets selling for 7.00 USD! It's ridiculous.

Hey, I'm new to the site, (actually, I have visited it a lot in the past months) and I never really bought any pirate sets until now, so I have no bluecoats and only one governor. Would it be ok If I made one fake bluecoat?
