Hello, I found no review of the Hoth Base in your index here, I thought this might be of interest to you guys - because we have one. The text is in German. But not the pictures :P Greetings -Bane

Maybe I will try this too. - Something is wrong - Banestudios A teaser for a little comic I will hopefully present soon. Oh, and some nice pics like those: But that can wait. Have to finish my review in english ;) Greetings -Bane

They might be clones, even if the empire recruited many normal soldiers after the republic era. To be sure they should take off their helmets Very nice picture as usual, designholic. I absolutely have to make some new shots... But at the moment I have no time for that, as I make pictures for a german press agency (internship) Greetings -Bane

You should have noticed that it's tomos picture of his review, linked a few times... ;) Sure, but we're talking about the box art right now. I don't know why some people are so happy about the box. The nice box art will not make me buy a re-release of a set we had in 2007 for a cheaper price. Whatever: our member juniormak made some nice macro shots of the new minifigures.. I especially like Obi-Wan, he really looks like the actor. Watto is a bit too hasbro-like, although he's very detailled. http://www.imperiumdersteine.de/album.php?albumid=1387 Greetings -Bane

Just wanted to write this. Btw, if you have a twitter account, I recommend you to follow our forum news acc (imperiumdersteine) here. It's in German, but it may be of interest to you as we have some LSW news now and then. (Navy Trooper Fenson is also tweeting) I hope it's ok if I linked this. Well the mold is quite okay, but the face... awful. I would have preferred a "double head" like in the Lego Star Wars game - or like Christo did it. That would be much more Lego-like. €dit: lol, haven't seen Brickdoctor's post - well it seems like we have the same opinion, talking about Ki-Adi.

@KielDaMan: you're welcome :) I have to say I'm a little bit disappointed of this set. It's small and expensive, the only reason to buy it would be the cute Ewoks - and iirc the star wars community doesn't really like those little bears That tree was designed as a little toy with 'playing features' for kids. The design is ugly, it's not the kind of tree you would put in a diorama. At this price (27€), a second Scout with speeder would have been appropriate. If I get a hand on a summer wave set, I'm sure I'll find the time to make a nice review.. Greetings -Bane

Hi, Here's the first Ewok Attack review, if it hasn't been already posted: http://www.imperiumdersteine.de/showthread.php?t=23906 I really don't like this set.. And detailed pics of some minifigs. Panaka is cool, but Mundi really sucks. http://bit.ly/kjZ0pF

Sure. I love Avanaut's snow-shots, they're terrific. But there's more than snow shots out there A new one. I don't know if you received a Boba keychain when they were no more ARFs left online on May 4th in your country - well, in Germany we did. Fortunately I got both of them The Replacement Aand here the article on the BaneBlog.

Yes, most of the time there is an Avanaut watermark on the pics. I don't know if he made the other pictures too. All shots are awesome, but they're all the same style, snow or sand. I miss fenris and Shobrick-shots ;) Oh seriously... 'Borrow their kid's toys'…

You mean those two shots? I personally like the lightning and I'm satisfied with it. Especially for White Boba in picture 1. With this whiteness he looks like someone special.

Well, I don't know. It's just like you put a Clone next to a flower and took a picture. If I were you I would try to change some things. You have to become One with the force... I mean, with your camera, the clone trooper and the flower. If you imagine being with them, you will change the camera angle, the positioning of the minifig (they look too freezed). The second pic has potential, but I would do something like... Trooper smelling the rose, with gesture, and watch out for the house in the background not to be seen. You have to correct the lightning, too. But your pics are quite good anyways. Keep on trying! Thanks to all who appreciate my work :) @Brickdocktor: thx. I don't think I'm at the limit of my capabilities, so I'm sure I can do way better. I want to try out some techniques Shobrick is using and I have some other ideas, too. :) Greetings Bane

The transparent bricks disturb the good feeling of that pic, solscud. You should try to hide those bricks or find another technique to make it fly thanks guys - here's a new one! Trap in a Trap Boy-oh-boy. You wanna shoot that strange armed guy who's running on your territory. Too bad a random Sith is just about to dismember you. In this galaxy, everything is possible.

From the "normal" point of view, it looks very strange - but the techniques you used are very impressive. It looks neat and cool - I like it, even if this kind of starship makes no sense Great work!

No, this is a show from the Imperial Holovision, the holonet news channel of the Empire. With a special guest And it's the next episode of this comic I made some time ago, so to say. And I have no Yoda... Shame on me. Thank you, KielDaMan! Makes me want to do more Thanks Masked Builder! Actually I don't own a gold Threepeo, but if I had one he would have figured there with the others. Thanks everyone! Greetings -Bane

Thanks, you two! As far as I know is Eurobricks an AFOL site, so I don't understand where the problem is. If young users register here or read my review (which is in a spoiler :P) it's not my problem. And, what exactly is scandalous? There's only one panel with strong language, right?

Heyho community, Here's a kind of hybrid between comic and review. I hope you like it. The pics are big, but if I made them smaller you wouldn't see the details. Comments and feedback are welcome! Greetings -Bane PS: Btw, is there no spoiler function on EB? €dit: Thx Brickdoc. I tried with [*spoiler=Big Pics].. lol.

Strange story for one little minifig. Went to my local Berlin Store yesterday. Bane's speeder (ha ha) and the Tantive were already sold out. So I decided to buy them online - as they were no shipping costs during the two days. So I ordered the 2 sets directly in the store. As I received the Lego mail, there was no ARF on the list. Another mail came, saying I have to pay with credit card because my order was too expensive for direct debit or something. So I went again to the Lego store today, and the friendly Lego guy who saw me yesterday gave me the poster and the ARF - just like this. There was an error in their "Lego-Store-ordering-at-S@H" system, that's why I couldn't get the ARF online. So I have an ARF without spending money - but I want that Tantive. :D Oh and btw, you will see the best review of all time soon. Tomorrow. Or so. I'm just looking for an English user who would like to help me translate it from German ("review" is on my blog, in German.) Greetings Bane

Bane is back with a new picture. There's more to come; the other few Legopics I made during holidays are ready to upload. But I had much to do the last days so it will take a day or two to post them. Anyways, here's the first, with a stormtrooper ^^ Lost - BaneStudios
