  1. Blech... I can't keep up with you guys. Honestly, whenever something even remotely significant happends they remove our titles change their dang names. I like Siegfried's new name, though. Siegfried the Sinner.
  2. I think Chapter 2 started. Try PMing JD(Jammiedodger714) and see if you can still join. If you can't you'll have to wait till chapter 2 ends, sorry. EDIT: I resized the waterfall pic. It was huge!
  3. Sorry, the players have already been picked... But, I'm sure Zepher could add you to the reserves.
  4. I don't get it. YG, in hopes of not annoying the fellow players I suggest doing this through PM, and not in the game thread?
  5. I've never heard of this place, but a linkie would be nice. And, I don't see how this would get you off of EB. I have a moderator position elsewhere, too, and I'm on EB all day.
  6. Yay! Thanks, Zepher!
  7. Thanks, I try. Dawn was almost upon them. Melody looked at her watch. "It's almost 6:00. Dawn should be here soon, and that means your little friend will be here anytime now," she said. "Right," said Zach. "Zach... Haven't you thought over any of this? What happens if he turns on us? We can trust this phantom," she said with a stern look. "I'm not thinking of that right now," "Than what's your plan?" "My plan?" "Yes..." "Well... He did save Bob, and he did appear to be, er, less violent than the rest of them," he said. "That doesn't mean anything. He could kill all of us with a snap of his fingers. Zach, these are one type of creatures you can't kill by shooting them a few times. They are a threat to all of us, and you know this," she said. Zach looked over at Mark, who was sitting on his sleeping bag, eating a chocolate bar. The group was starting to wake up. Jack walked over to Zach and Melody. "Hey, you two kids couldn't keep your mouths shut last night, could you?" "I wasn't tired," said Zach as an excuse. "I couldn't sleep," she used as her excuse. "I was just nosey," said Mark, walking over to them. () "Yeah? And I was tired," said Jack gruffly as he stumbled over to his sleeping bag. --- Bob sat up, and yawned. Milo walked over to him. "That was some blast you got yesterday... Did it hurt?" "Like getting bitten in the nose by a rabid raccoon," said Bob. "That actually happened to me onc-" he cut himself off as he peered towards Mark and his Ziplock bag full of chocolate bars... What? The little jerk had been hiding them all along! "That little punk!" Milo said as he ran towards Mark. --- Twenty seconds earlier... Mark reached into the bag of chocolate. He needed to get his hyper back before they noticed his bag of chocolate bars, or they would kill him for sure until they got the bag. He stuffed an entire bar into his mouth. "That little punk!" He saw Milo charging towards him. "Huh?" He muffled with a mouth full of mushed up sweetness in a rectangle. --- Melody went to go get something out of her pack a few minutes earlier. She came back with a small picture. She sat down next to him. The picture was made up of a family. One man, that looked to be in his late forties, and a woman who looked a few years younger than the man. There was also a little girl about the age of five, a young boy of about ten, and a teenage girl that looked to be 17. "Who are they?" Zach asked. "That's my family. My mom and dad, and my little brother, Cody, and my sister, Margaret, and I'm the oldest one," she said. "None of them lived?" "No, but they didn't feel a thing. The blast killed them all instantly," Melody said, sounding shaken. "Melody, have you ever-" He heard a small sob. She was crying. She was actually crying. --- "AAAAGH!!!" Milo tackled Mark to the ground and put him in a headlock. "Where did you get those?! Huh?! Where did you find the covetted substance?!" Milo screamed in his ear. "I'll never tell!" Mark choked. "TELL ME!!" "When... *gasp*... when we raided that... *gasp* that convenience store... *choke*" Milo released him. "See? It feels good to cooperate, doesn't it?" "Your mom cooperates..." Mark said under his breath, as Milo walked off with a chocolate bar to go share with Bob. --- Just so you guys know, the chocolate thing was just added for a giggle or two.
  8. Happy Birthday, Bonaparte, my favorite mini-warlord. I hope you get(Or got, not sure if it's over yet. ) lots of LEGO and have lots of fun with Captain Green Hair.
  9. I got it in 2005, when the figure arrived on eBay. That figure is awesome! And Oky, sorry, I had to get a robotic leg quick so I could do my post. I don't have anything else silverish.
  10. If there's any spots left, sign me up! I've been waiitng for this.
  11. Also if picked, could I play Thomas Baker? I'd like to be a bloodsucking lawyer.
  12. Boy, I hope I get picked... I've always wanted to play full-time mystery games.
  13. For some who didn't under stand the "hanging over the waterfall" thing:
  14. I'll sign up, if I can. Anyway, to be honest, I've never played a mystery game before, and since I know you, I thought this would be a good time. (I've been waiting for this...) And I was hoping this would be a good learning experience, but I guess none of these are valid reasons. Let's see: 1. I would be able to play for the entire game. 2. I'm active most of the day on EB. (2/2 I'm a EB freak.) 3. I can figure out clues very quickly, and I figure out most book mysteries before it's even revealed who did what. 4. I may be a first-timer, but I've learned a lot from from reading past mystery games. I hope you'll consider my participation. Thanks.
  15. That day hasn't even started in my time zone, but... Happy Birthday, everybody!
  16. The group was tired, hungry, and the rain had stopped. The rest of the group laid down. Some of them were already asleep. Melody walked over to Zach and sat down. "You know, bad things happen. We might not be able to save everyone, but we've got to stop the aliens and the rest of them. We can't prevent casualties, it's the natural order of things," she said. Zach thought for a moment. "That's true, but we're going to need as many people as possible to stop these monsters, and that includes some of our most important group members. We've had our losses before, and I'm not going to let it happen again," said Zach. "Hey! Will you two shaddap! I'm trying to sleep ovah here..." Jack yelled at them, and rolled over on the ground. The two looked from Jack, back at each other. "He's... uh... not really the nicest guy here, is he?" "Not even close," said Zach.
  17. What I meant, was, if this was real, the mini-boat would be motionless.
  18. Shadows, you just like picking on me, don't you?
  19. I didn't get any notification...
  20. My title disappeared, too, Millacol... Did we do something wrong? EDIT: So did Prateek's... Is this some sort of a glitch?
  21. Oh, man, that's a great idea! Wait, except, they can't kill ghosts...
  22. "Oh no... Oh no..." said Melody as she and the others knelt around him. "What are we going to do?" Zach asked. "I'm not sure... There's not any people around for miles... Do we have a medical kit?" Bob violently vomitted blood all over Melody. Resisting to give him a taste of his own medicine, she ignored what was stained all over her. "Do we have a medical kit?" She repeated. "No... They were in the boat..." said Zach. "Curse it all! How are we going to help him?!"
  23. Also, Bob, sorry if I confused you with my scenes...
  24. I'm getting confused here. What the heck, Eskallon?! What's with the LotR story? I'm scared... Er... I agree with simonjedi and Bob, we should all work on dialogue more, and less action sequences, and, LotR campfire stories... I've got to catch up here... Zapper, Eskallon, if you wouldn't mind posting so much, you're flooding the game thread and I can't keep up...
  25. If I was going to fast, sorry. That part was sort of my way of describing how she always has something bad happen to her, and anything around her. In this case, her boat, car, and almost the entire group of survivors. That's it, though. I'm done with the vehicle destruction. I'll move on to her backstory now, I guess.
