Since the forum upgrade, I also don't see this option. I think this may only be accessible via moderators/admins. Let me check with the other staff and see what the new settings are.

This is probably because he is the first moderator to post in the thread explaining how the report button is ACTUALLY meant to be used. Just because a bunch of members said to do something doesn't mean it's right. If you ask me I'd trust the moderators word over a bunch of members who don't know the rules. Also let me be the second moderator to say that the report button should be used to report members who have breached the site guidelines, NOT when you disagree with someone.

This is a LEGO discussion forum and although you plan to take pictures of LEGO, it's quite a stretch. I'd try an iPhone forum for photo examples and opinions of many more iPhone owners. Thank you.

Before the software upgrade or maybe even two upgrades ago you could change this setting in your profile up to 40 posts per page. With the newest upgrade the standard is 25 posts per page. This is a very common standard amongst internet forums.

Eurobricks has a firm rule on leaked images. Anything marked as preliminary or confidential is not allowed. I'm not sure of the relationship that BZPower has with LEGO but we have a very good working relationship with LEGO so we try to abide by their wishes whenever we can. If they ask us to take something down, we respect that and do so. If it's comparing HF to the new Chimw sets then it's part of the discussion. Just because you don't agree does'nt mean it's wrong. I'm sensing some hostility. We may not all agree on what we like but we can respect each others opinions, even if we think they are wrong.

OK, the discussion was going along fine, there is no need for rude comments or for pressuring him to do anything. This is a discussion forum, if he takes 5 years to attempt this that's fine, and that's even if he decides to. It's up to him, he doesn't owe you anything. If you think it's a waste of time don't visit this thread.

EB is a community aimed towards AFOLs and discussion. As such, we do not encourage these 'list topics' in which members merely put an answer to a question and rarely discuss things. I think posting in the "What did you buy today?" thread after getting a gift would suffice. We don't need to have threads for members to list what they plan to buy in addition to the threads we already have for members to post in after they buy something. Which set should I buy?" thread in General Discussion might also be a destination for questions on different sets you don't have yet. Thank You.

This frustrates you? The forum still works the same way. Only the Admins can change forum descriptions, and I know for a fact that it's been a busy year for them. In the grand scheme of things this is pretty unimportant. Bumping the thread was a good reminder, I'm sure one of the big cheeses will chime in eventually.

This won't change if we make a separate forum for them. The problem is this is a global site with members from literally everywhere on the planet. In order to cater to each state, province, country or city is not possible. Even if we did, it's very unlikely there are more than a handful from any one region close enough together to take advantage of the finds. If we had something like 100,000 active users then it might be a different story. For the time being if you know there are other AFOL's in your area and you know they are on EB it would he perfectly fine to create a "finds" thread for your specific city in the buy/sell/trade/finds forum and update it as you find new deals.
