Money 500hp is no problem from those motors. The '3S-GTE' was used in the early 90/s celica's. the all-trac ones, I knew a few people with those and they easily tuned them close to 300bhp with very little, mostly external modifications. If you do it right and spend the right amount of money, you could easily make a realiable 500bhp daily driver.
  2. OMG, I can't wait, I didn't know this was coming.
  3. There is alot going on, but all in all it's an awesome ship. Very big and you made a sweet landing area for it. keep up the good work.
  4. OMG, that's cool. SO did you just paint it then? Metalic colored paint.
  5. Call up LEGO mayb they'll give you the differance since it's so close in time.
  6. That's a sweet little set. I'd like to get my hands on it.
  7. Thanks alot
  8. Too bad there aren't more figs. This would be great fun for kid's who celebrate it though.

LOL, good idea but there is no way in hell anyone who has ever seen a real Lamborghini would believe that you didn't like the interior and swapped it out
  10. Sweet, I bet I can find some of these on bricklink, as the EXO-FROCE sets do nothign for me.

I beat you to it 2 posts up. But I agree a turbocharged 4 cylinder engine will not sound like a Lambo V10 Neither will an american V8. I would do some searching on Kit Car Websites, I'm sure someone has found an engine that sounds fairly similar.
  12. Oh my gosh, I do remember these. Those were some of my first Pirate sets.
  13. Very nice comparison, I like all the different views. Really give you the right perspective.
  14. I must ask, what exactly is it made out of. It looks like metal?

It comes from the Mitsubishi Lancer EVO. Stock it makes around 287 bhp. It's a highly tunable engine and is pretty bulletproof. It's been Mitsu's rally car of choice for decades, and it's basically been the same block all this time. The actual engine code is something like 4G63 EVO MIVEC It's found int todays EVO's that you can still buy brand new.
  16. Is that tubing bendable?
  17. It was, Sadly I was not prizing my old sets like I do my new Star Wars sets so basically all my old LEGO has gone in one giant nin, so making these sets again will be very possible but time consuming. Thankfully I still have every instruction book from my childhood. One day when there is time, I'll make a bunch of my old favorites.
  18. Thanks for the info, I've been busy with MotoGP so I've fallen behind on my F1 news.

Um, getting the same sound would require a very similar engine. I've been in a Gallardo Superleggera and you can't really fake that sound. Same with the Ferrari F430 Scuderia, it's got a sound all it's own. Riding in that was like a 4 wheeled motorcycle. I'd suggest gettign a clip online, you shouldn't have a problem finding one.
  20. You sire deserve that MOC expert tag you have. Screw to scale, it looks the part perfectly, carry's a freakin MTT. I can't believe the size of it, plus the actual workign interor. Did you spend a long time on the design before you started building?? I can't imagine just going at it from scratch and making it up as you go. Most impressive and I can't wait to see your next MOC. maybe when dissasembling your next one you could take a picture of it in half or partially dissasembled just so we can all cringe.
  21. Bricklink is our best bet but unless you are a serious collector, which actually most of us are. The instructions are online so you can build your own. I completely contradicted myself.
  22. I'm not familiar with waterslide paper, but I used to work for an office supply store and sold printers. For any type of minifig printing I would go with inkjet. Laser printers use a powder called toner and it burns the pounder to the paper, just on the surface. Inkjet printers actually die or stain the paper, like a pen would. For durability I would definetaly go with inkjet.
  23. I literally just got an email from LEGO 10 mintues ago saying this is available, I was shocked since it was just slated for Oct 23rd. LEGO sure changes their mind alot.
  24. wow, for 1985 that's a sweet train, I love the platform too.
  25. You have an impressive collection of trains, I am very jealous.
