Does anybody else like Motorcycles around here?

I hope you can see the humor in it now, looking in from a 3rd persons perspective, but I do feel for you, that would be a horrible event to take part in. I don't think I would have tried to take a scooter on a highway, I wouldn't feel to safe ion something that barely weighs more than a bicycle. Glad you made it without incident. -
Those are really good. They really represent the era of vehicles you are making. I especially like the way you made the front fenders, and bumper. The use of the droid arms??? was a great idea. THe rear cabin, the way it slopes is great, very iconic.

Good looking convertible, I like the single roll bar behind the driver, similar to an old AC Cobra.

The three SW sets you'd like TLG to release
Big Cam replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in LEGO Star Wars
That is irrelevant, the thread asked what I wanted, that's what I want. -
Whoa, that's over double the retail price. I hope my review re-assured you of your purchase.

Easy. Cloud City (Fig collection is spectacular) Imperial Inspection (Fig collection is also spectacular) The small 3 fig sets, in new fleshtones. Image it, $3.50 for 3 minifigs. It's a minifig collectors dream! -

It is, I am thinking of swapping my exhaust for the new R6 because it's a shorty one. They always make the best improvements the year after you buy one. -
I just don't understand how they can get away with this, you think LEGO would have sued them by now.

Whoa, that's cool. I think I need to get me this software. I like it, any plans to make it a reality? -

Looks great, I'm racking my brain trying to think of better shelves, but for minifig height, I think you have it pretty good.

Hmm, I thought for sure it was you. In my explanation I said I actually luaghed out loud, I think it's funny. What can I say, I'm an active poster. I have over 98,000 posts on another forum I moderate, it's just a number. Well dang, I have no idea then.

Welcome to the forums, I hope you find this to be a new friendly source of LEGO information, I am digging the moonbase pics as well.

Great topic idea JC. As a person who had lots of LEGO as a kid and 15 years later got back into it, I was shocked at the amount of technic pieces I found in all of my new SW sets. But after building a few it dawned onme that the great designs would not be possible without the technic pieces. If LEGO had never existed and they opened their doors today and released all the current sets and didn't call the technic pieces technic pieces, we would never know, they would just be bricks with holes in them, or round pieces. I think it's only because technic was it's own entity for so long, that we have this great separation. To me technic pieces aren't a hassle in a set, when I see them I say, sweet, this LEGO set is going to do something that it probably shouldn't be able to. I personally say more power to LEGO to combine their knowledge to make great sets.

Your pictures are gigantic! But overall I thinkit's a nice little setupo, my only complaint is the girl in the water. Since there is barely any water, it makes me think it is the tide rolling up, but then she is half under water?? I understand what you are trying to portray, I just think a little more water pieces would make that section a bit more believable.

alright, was it my sig?

Wow, that looks very similar to the wokipedia version. Great job replicating something without instructions!

Damn, I just saw the second round of pictures, ignoring the blurriness, this MOC is outstanding. I really love the detailing at the dinner table and the different levels that go all the way around. I love the mechanics working on the walkers and the mail scene is funny but that mail truck looks so out of place. Incredible to say the least.
