As much as I dislike Cuusoo, I think this would be an awesome entry. I suppose it'd be way to expensive for TLG to actually make. That said it looks glorious, the chroming looks really nice as well.

The thing with this is that they'd still have to obtain the License to build it. Us fan's can build whatever we want because we aren't selling it for profit. LEGO would be doing this, I think if they actually wanted to go forward with this, they'd have to obtain the license and if they do, they would build much more than just this one set. I for one hope they do.

So I am serious thinking about going this year. Who else is going alone? EDIT: Going for sure.

Dang, I already have the sets picked out I'm going to buy to get it, maybe I'll have to buy more if some are on sale.

If it's the original one from back in 1989 and it's complete, I'd say that's a great price. It was a $100 ship back then.

Fantastic MOC! I am a sucker for a well tiled MOC. Even though a lot of your bricks are on their side, it's the same effect. It really looks like a pool are with every option. The ladder, the diving board, the rope for the kiddie area, the chairs, and snack shop. Really great MOC.

Black Seas barracuda, it's loved since it's the origingal "big" Pirate ship, and all around awesome ship, plus I have one. Caribbean Clipper, Released within the same series as the BSB, this smaller set, is also an instant favorite, I don't have one, but I wish I did. The original Implerial Flagship, small but another classic. Lastly, this guy is pretty new but it was recently discontinued and is going up in price. I am personally kicking myself for not getting one. These are just my personal opinions, you'll get many more I'm sure.

Absolutely, Bricklink is a very well know site among LEGO enthusiasts. Like any site, it will do you good to review the ratings of the selling, like any site you are going to have your bad apples, but I think most people here will recommend bricklink over ebay, and amazon always has ridiculously overpriced sets. Something to note, bricklink is actually all individual people like you and me. Think of it as an ebay for only LEGO. If it's the set I think it is then my guess is no. Since its only available at the opening of a new store the supply will be relatively low and demand very high.

A great find indeed. I've seen many of Pirate MOC's in my days and even a few statues, but for me the best part is the cave. It seems so simple but it just looks so natural and it fits the scene. Hopefully this user joins.
